Amanda helped my ex and I sell our condo late last year and was fabulous! After a lackluster experience with a different agent earlier in the year, we took a different approach when looking for a new agent, and actually interviewed several before making a decision.
Right from the start, Amanda was very polished, detail-oriented, and most important (especially in this real estate market), honest. She came to us with hard data and research on the state of the market, and tons of other details that really made us feel like she had her finger on the pulse of the market. (She had us hooked the second she started talking about providing us with web tracking stats -- my ex works in IT and I'm a blogger and general numbers geek, so those things made us really happy.) Amanda really wanted to get to know us as clients and, just like any good "interview candidate", had tons of questions for us to make sure that the fit worked both ways.
Once she started working with us, things moved quickly, and she was always full of great suggestions to help ensure a successful sale. After every viewing, Amanda immediately provided summarized feedback and observations, and sent out weekly reports so we knew how many people were viewing the listing online, etc. She was an excellent communicator and really tailored her communications to our needs.
We sold the condo very quickly, and while we took a loss on it, we were prepared for it by Amanda's honesty with us at the outset, and at the end, we were just glad to have everything go as smoothly and as painless as possible. She was a fantastic asset during closing negotiations, and has stayed in touch in the months thereafter to make sure that we had all the important documents we needed, particularly for tax purposes.
If, in a few years, I feel like I'm in a place where I can buy a property again, I would absolutely ask Amanda to represent me as a buyer. -

THE BEST REALTOR EVER!
I bought a condo with Amanda about 5 months ago. Being new to the Chicago area (from Idaho no less) I was nervous to step outside of a 4 block radius of work and home. She took me to areas that I could afford, made me feel comfortable in them and found me the perfect home and a great investment. She even came over and fixed my icemaker after I moved in! -

Amanda is always impeccably dressed with not a hair out of place. That same attention to detail carries over in to her professional life. She is diligent, hard-working, resourceful, responsive, and always on time.
We bought a place in Chicago at the height of the bubble in late 2007 and needed to sell it a little over a year later, so it wasn't a matter of whether or not we would lose money, it was a question of how much.
I met with Amanda based on Yelp reviews. She made a number of recommendations on how we should prepare the condo for sale and we did most of those(bathroom, kitchen remodels, fresh paint, etc). We were moving out of town and needed to sell as quickly as possible to limit the number of mortgage payments we would need to make. Because we were worried about the downside, we tried selling on Craigslist first(sorry Amanda!), took pictures, prepared a handout, had some open houses, everything short of getting an MLS number. Needless to say we were unable to sell. We then retained Amanda. We staged the condo, she took new and improved pictures, and within weeks the place was on the market.
Within the FIRST week of showings our place was under contract at our target price. This is a tough market and now there are more options then ever. For us, the best option was Amanda and we couldn't have been happier with the outcome. -

I recently purchased my first home and worked with Amanda based on raving reviews from 3 coworkers/friends who had also worked with Amanda. Being a first time buyer, and relatively new to the city, Amanda was a huge asset to me. She took the time to thoroughly explain the entire process, nearly held my hand through the three months we worked together and was easily accessible via email and voicemail. In fact, we now joke that life just isn't the same without our daily check-ins.
I can't imagine having gone through the process without Amanda. She is extremely knowledgeable not just about conducting a successful transaction but also about the city of Chicago. I can be rather indecisive at times but Amanda took the time to observe my reactions to different properties, neighborhoods and price points and in the end I found a place that fits my long term and short term goals perfectly.
I will absolutely work with Amanda in the future. I also HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for a committed, professional, friendly and hardworking home partner. She is fabulous!!! -

AMANDA IS MY HERO! She is passionately committed to her clients and has an impeccable work ethic. As a first-time homebuyer, Amanda was a calming and reassuring presence in what would otherwise have been a stressful experience for us. Her attention to detail and superior knowledge of the industry helped all of our transactions to go smoothly. We used Amanda to buy our condo in Wrigleyville in 2006 and then to sell it in 2010. We actually had engaged another (less expensive) realtor in 2009 and attempted to sell then, but without a single offer. When we really needed to sell in 2010 we went back to Amanda and we never regretted that decision. She is thorough, she pulls out all the stops, and she will get the deal done.

I'm an experienced mortgage lender in the Chicago Lakeview area. I have been in this business for five years and have known Amanda almost that long. I say that because, in my experience, Amanda is absolutely at the top of her profession. I haven't worked with a client of Amanda's who wouldn't say they had an exceptional experience while working with her. Whether it's buying or selling a property, Amanda makes every client feel like they are her most important. I would highly reccomend Amanda to anyone who is looking to either buy or sell a property in or around Chicago.

After having multiple bad experiences with other realtors, Amanda was like a breath of fresh air! I found Amanda through a friend's recommendation, and she was outstanding in helping me purchase my current home. My move was a result of some personal issues, and I felt that Amanda really took care of me, and helped to take a lot of stress out of the situation.
The process started with a detailed interview, in which Amanda made sure to find out all of the things I did and did not want in a condo. This led to me being shown many properties that fit my requirements. Once I made a decision on a condo, Amanda was great in communicating and following up with all parties involved, including my attorney and mortgage broker. She even recommended an excellent inspection team.
Amanda is always easily reached by phone or e-mail, and also always responds very quickly to messages. Her dedication and diligence in getting me through this process were outstanding, and I'm really happy in my new home. I have no doubt that I can count on her for assistance any time - even though my purchase is now complete. -

We bought a condo with Amanda's help and were extremely happy working with her. She first of all gives you the attention as if you are her only client and works extremely hard and is great at what she does. We had a very long process and she never lost focus or determination to find a place that worked for us. Expect to get answers to your e-mails at all hours of the day and diligent negotiation. She also has a great group of people she works with in terms of mortgage brokers, real estate lawyers etc, and we felt like we had a great team of people looking out for our interest. Amanda is definetely the best.
