In my opinion, the only things that might be more powerful than words are pictures. I think the going exchange rate is still 1/1000, right?
Amanda Marie creates pictures that truly are priceless. She captures moments in time without you realizing it, which results in amazing, candid and beautiful photographs. Her sweet, unassuming disposition belies her deft hand and gimlet eye. But the moment you look at the photos she has captured just for you, you realize how gifted Amanda Marie is. Her work is both thorough and simple, supple and traditional, all of which makes for photos which are the perfect blend of modern and classic.
If you're into the fake backgrounds and plastic poses for your engagement, wedding, family, etc... pictures, then you should by all means continue to go to those oversized photo booths at the malls and department stores and all of the self-proclaimed photographers out there. In fact, call me and I'll stop over with my point and shoot...
But if you want a professional photojournalist around while you create memories that are once-in-a-lifetime so that you have timeless pictures that will last forever, you should absolutely call Amanda Marie. She's incredible... -

Amanda is an amazing photographer! She has been doing our family pictures and pictures of our son for 2 years now and every time I am amazed by her talent!

Amanda Marie Photography specializes in people, capturing moments, documenting life and well, stopping time for a moment. When I look back on my own photos, I want to remember what that moment felt like, who my babies were that day, and what life was like. That is what I strive to show in my portrait sessions. I have the same philosophy for wedding photography. I want to take my brides back to that day through their photos. On your wedding day, I want to tell the story as it happens (in the most beautiful way!).

Many photographers will tell you that they have always loved photography. It's true. I have had a camera in my hand as long as I can remember, and looking back at photos gives me butterflies. I am amazed at the way a photograph can capture a feeling and bring you back to that moment each time you look at it. I shot my first wedding in 2003 and to this day I can remember how excited I was to show the couple their photos. I love helping people remember their most important moments and documenting life. A few other things I love: my family, Apple products, and cupcakes!
