One of Lilburn's best kept secrets. Fantastic homecooked food here! It's like eating at your southern grandma's house. The Brunswick stew on Fridays is as good as any I've ever had. The chicken salad is perfect for a sandwich--no fruit or nuts (which I like, but not on a sandwich). Other highlights on the menu: broccoli casserole, pineapple casserole, vegetable soup, caramel cake. The lunch special-- 1/2 sandwich & soup or salad for $4.99 is a great deal.

We went for the Sunday buffet this week. The food is not typical lunch buffet food, it is typical Sunday after church dinner on the grounds food. Roast with carrots and potatoes that tasted slow cooked, creamed corn that tasted just like my Grannys, wonderful fresh tasting lima and green beans, squash and broccoli cassarole and of course, mac n cheese. I loved that they had sliced fresh tomates, I had those with every meal growing up. The dessert s i had weren't fabulous, but I was full anyway. Our waitress was friendly and funny and we never ran low on sweet tea. I wasn't crazy about the atmosphere, it's very open, not cozy and a bit of an echo, so you hear everyone's conversations around you. Overall, really good food, I will go back.
