My fiance and I got our engagement photos done by Alvarado Photography.
I was looking online for photographers in Hawaii, and I stumbled upon their website. Their portfolio was amazing and they possess tremendous talent in their field. The Alvarados are a husband and wife team.
We worked with Jess only. At first it was akward for us because my fiance and I have never taken professional photos before and did not know what to do. She put us at ease, was laid back, professional and down to earth. She showed us what to do for great poses and had great ideas for pictures.
When we saw our pictures, it was awesome! The best photos and editing I have ever seen. We will definitely book her again for the wedding and look forward to working with her in the future! -

The Alvarado's are a great pair who will make sure everyone feel's comfortable during the photo shoot. I can't even express in words what a great job they did with our family. The final product was amazing and by far the most beautiful pictures we have ever taken as a family. We have definitely found our one and only go to Photographer whenever we return to Oahu. Please book them if you are planning on getting photo's done I can promise you that you will not be disappointed.

History
Established in 2008
The company consists of two very hard working individuals... Jess and John (married on July 12 2009) they both work fulltime (John rey Alvarado on active duty Airforce and Jesscerrie Lubas works in an advertising company) and operate Alvarado photography as a part time business. The website, blog and galleries are made and updated by John while Jess handles most of the administrative and financial aspect of the business. The final photos and products are collaboration in effort, imagination and style from the couple.
