Review from Caley S.

This place is unreal. The large portions coupled with cheap prices and amazing food make Altony's truly one of the best Italian restaurants I have every eaten at. The hamburgers are huge, the roast beef is mountainous, and the spaghetti meal will feed you for three days (five if you ration it).
There is plenty of variety in the menu so everyone should find something they like. Great small town atmosphere. -
Review from Teresa K.

Altony's has moved into the old Taco Bell location over by Kmart and Cashwise in Moorhead. I am sorry to see them choose to leave Dilworth, but I can't blame them. I'm sure they'll get more traffic in the new spot.
The food was OK; my lasagna was cold in the middle and frankly looked like it was warmed in the microwave, but the seasoning was delicious, and we ate it all. My husband had the chicken parmigiana sandwich, and he loved it. Prices are reasonable and ambiance is even better than before.1 Previous Review: Show all »

Review from H.K. L.

Ownership has changed. The interior has been remodeled and is much nicer.
The quantity of food is still massive, but it's not quite as good. Reluctantly rating at 3 stars. Part of it is my fault for ordering the veal. Don't order the veal.1 Previous Review: Show all »

Review from Dee S.
Aurora, CO
This place seats about 40-50 people now. The other reviewers are correct, the portions are huge. You probably won't be able to finish the 1/2 order of spaghetti and meatball. The full order is huge. Diff is the 1/2 order has one huge meatball and a bunch of spaghetti. The full order has two huge meatballs and a really big bunch of spaghetti. The sandwiches are huge, too. Wished the sausage that came with the entree was the same sausage in the sandwich. Would have made the sandwich better. 1/2 order of Lasagna is manageable to finish. Pasta with sausage and peppers entree is pretty manageable too. They are open 11-8 or Saturdays. Six of us ate, some getting full entrees, for $57ish.

From the outside you will never know about this hidden treasure. The portions are huge, the service is fantastic, the spaghetti tastes great and it is cheap!
