when i came here a few saturdays ago it was quite 'lively' with kids running around like crazy during their Arabic class lunch break...
i was in the women's area getting introduced to some of the sisters as paper airplanes kept crashing into me left and right... and kids running on me... quite chaotic to say the least...
the sisters were nice and friendly...
i wasn't there for any khutbahs but i assume they're in Arabic just from looking at the demographics...
on saturdays it looks like they have something going on the whole day: Arabic school for kids in the morning/early afternoon and i think from about 4pm there's a women's halaqa

The masjid had a khutbah in Arabic with little headsets available to hear the English simultaneous translation.  Only problem is, many of the ones in the women's area didn't seem to work properly.  I ended up sharing a headset out of the generosity of another English speaker who was there before me.

I felt the khutbah was overly long if you were trying to get to an appointment or just go on your lunch break, but maybe Seattle's downtown masjid's 20 min max jummah spoiled me for downtown mosque's forever.

Only has one entrance, so you had to go through the men's area to get to the women's area, but you couldn't see the imam from the women's area.  Really? What's the point?  Break down the front wall and leave the side wall for goodness sake.

I love this mosque. During Ramadan we have an Open House. People of all faiths are welcome all the time. The Friday prayer sermon is in Arabic but they have live translations in English and wireless headsets are also provided. on Friday evenings, they have a Halaqa in English. On Saturday evenings, the have family night activities as well.
