Al's, I'm yelping you! Anyhoo, for all of you people out there that care about your cars it only makes sense that you would want quality tint and Al's Tinting is where you should go. Al's is the kind of business that you feel like you're getting the best quality choices from a small but well known shop with out the whole "big, flashy showroom" type of place. Service is VERY friendly from the first appointment call to the front desk person (what's up TZE!) and even the guy that did my tint (sorry I forgot ur name :(. Hey even Al himself is cool. :) So if you've got a nice car and not trying to be cheap, I would suggest you go to here. Oh yeah, my tint looks AWESOME!. I'm definitely coming back to do my front windshield for sure.

I finally had time to tint my car windows, which I searched through Yelp for a recommended business.
I heard of Al's before but never read the reviews. However, I read the reviews from Yelp!
I scheduled an appointment and the tech shared he will review with me the different types of tints offered.
Friday morning, I dropped off my car and listened to the different types of tints. Chose a heat resistant type of tinted and was informed the waiting time (3hours). I was fine with the wait because I planned on eating at Anna Millers and walking around the mall.
End result? Very nice. They are very thorough and professional with great customer service skills.Listed in: Yelp 365 Challenge

What to say...What to say... Hmm well @AlsTinting is the place to go for your high quality, great priced and fast service. We are talking about TINT in case you didnt realized it.
Located on Kamehameha Highway across from Anna Millers and next to Lex Brodies. You could utilize the Lex Brodies lot as a back up in case the parking in front is taken.
I would recommend making an appointment so you can plan ahead. With everyone's busy schedules these days, it does help to plan. They do take walk in's though. So if you decide to purchase a new car at night and want to get it tinted right away, drop on in and see them. You might just see a hot girl or sexy guy for your pickings.
Tint's these days come in all kinds of quality. Reflective, Heat Resistant, Ceramic, etc. Let the guys tell you about it. With Hawaii's weather hitting 90's, you definitely want to keep the heat out of the car. Remember you get what you pay for! Higher quality...cost more
HINT: Many people don't realize this but Al's does home tinting as well. Protect your investments ...your home is going to be your biggest investment. Did you know he also can do designs? YES, logo's from tint.

I walked in here the other day after failing a safety inspection. I was so frustrated that I almost started to tear up. I've gotten multiple safety inspections done on my car, and never failed. I took a chance by going to Jiffy Lube down the street, and needless to say they made me so angry I wanted to scream! They were so rude, which contributed to my upset mood.
At Al's, they took care of me right away. The owner (maybe? or maybe he was just a worker), was very friendly. They took all the tint off my windows (the reason I failed) without an appointment. They finished within 30-45 minutes, and didn't charge me at all because I was having such a bad day. They were SO nice. It's really hard to find people/businesses these days that are so friendly and personable. Random acts of kindness rock :)
I took a business card from them, and promised I'd come back to get my windows re-tinted one day. I plan on following through with that, because they seem to have good prices and the service can't be beat. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! -

Very pricey- but quality & warranty is top notch! Warranty covers BOTH labor & materials. (Most places just cover materials) Go there to Al's if: 1) $$$ is not an object. 2) you want piece of mind with an awesome warranty. 3) You want to do business with friendly business professionals.

Al's did an awesome job on my car. Wait time was very fast. We didn't even finish our shopping when we got the call the car was done. Very very happy with the service and information they were able to give. Will definitely return for future tinting.

Located across Anna Millers in Aiea. You can drop off your car and go shopping at Pearl Ridge or go grab a bite. Making an appointment is recommended, but I've seen walk-in's. Their service fast; quick in and out... and they get the job done well every time. That guy, Al is pretty charming... And he's got some cuties working for him. (Ladies and Dudes, if you don't mind waiting...) Over all, great service, one of the best in town.

Al's did the tint on my car about 4 years ago. Al's does great work! I've had my other cars tinted at other places, but Al's work was better than those. No air bubbles, etc. They tinted the windows all the way up to the edge of the glass. Some companies don't do this and when you roll the window down, you see a little border of glass. Not with Al's! My back window is especially hard, but they had no problem with it with all the black textured dots that's permanently on the glass. I'm satisfied with my tint and will return here when I have another vehicle to tint.

I wanted to get my car window's tinted for awhile but didn't have the money to pay for it. So when I finally did, I asked all of my coworkers where they went to get their tint done and they all said "Al's". My friends gave me the overview of the process and I went ahead and looked at their website (which is very informative). I went down to their shop the same day and was hesitant at first, but all my worries were put at ease when I spoke to Rob. He explained all the different tints that they offered and how it would work over my current factory tint. Rob assured me that if there was any problems with the tint within it's lifetime that I would be able to go back and they would be able to help me fix it. So, I picked out my tint, he gave me a price, and I set my appointment for that Saturday. And for my convenience he allowed me to pay at that time, instead of waiting for Saturday. I am very happy that I went with Al's as opposed to the other guy.
