This is not your typical strip mall pizzeria. It has more of a neighborhood pizzeria feel to it. Maybe it's the friendly workers/owners. It's never just business. Very involved with their customers. And not just with me. With everyone that comes in. The seating area is always clean and well stocked with napkins, salt, pepper, cheese, etc.
As for the food. I can only comment on the pizza since that's what I get at least once a week there. My kids love it over any other pizza in the area. So pizza night/day for them comes from Al's. Sometimes the whole family (7 of us) go and eat there. It's a small dining area but spaced nicely and well enough to handle our small group. If you order a pizza with a topping it is just right. Not overwhelming and not frugal. JUST RIGHT!
Enjoy your visit there. We do. And if your lucky enough you will see Martin Broduer the Devils goalie there. He frequents the pizzeria along with other Devil players. -
Review from Mike P.
I came to Al's a few times when i started my current job. The pizza was pretty good and the prices were right. Then for some reason i stopped coming here for about a year. Today we needed to make a large lunch order and i took the reins on ordering food. After finding out our place of choice wouldn't be open in time I decided to look else ware.
Stumbling through some menus I found one for Al's they are open pretty early for the area, 11 am and the prices were about 10 bucks cheaper on a 90 dollar order then other places as well. So I decided to give it a shot.
The pizza was really good. The white pie was hearty in size and toppings for the pizza, the plum tomato pie was gone first and the buffalo and al special made it to the end of lunch but were equally as good. We also got 4 orders of Buffalo wings, which I was hoping were covered in some sort of hot sauce (since it was labeled hot) but came plain. They were good and cheap though.
All in all I think ill have to start throwing Al's back into my rotation of lunch spots because there pizza is good.
