This is so much more than 'boarding.' Every time I drive up with my dog he gets excited, because he knows he's going to have fun and be well taken care of. He's also excited when I come to pick him up, but he's also dirty, exhausted and happy. Alpine Dog Ranch helps him be a better dog. It keeps him sane.

Thomas took excellent care of my puppy pitbull. I checked in with him daily and he gave me full reports. I am very careful about who I leave her with and this guy knows what he is doing. I fully recommend him.

What a great place for a dog to go on vacation. If you really care about your dog and need a place, then look no further.
Thomas and Keren are amazing and will take good care of your pooch. The great thing is that they will not just take any dog, they first meet the dog and then decide on whether to accept the dog or not. Thomas has also a "Zen Training" package and a friend of mine's dog went from aggressive alpha male to a trained and well behaved dog.
If you care as much about your own well being while on vacation, then you should do the same and Alpine Dog Ranch is just that place.

Wow. I just picked up my 2 year old lab ( a high- energy dog) from the Alpine Dog Ranch and she is wiped out! I now believe it when they say "This is not a kennel, it is vacation ranch for dogs". My dog ran around on 4 fenced-in acres with other dogs for 2 weeks. If you have a well- socialized dog, I would HIGHLY recommend this place. She was a little dusty from all the time outside, but then, I opted out of the end- of- stay dog bath.
They also offer pick up and drop off service, since they are a bit out of town. -

There are a million wonderful things I could say about Thomas and Keren, the proprietors of Alpine Dog Ranch, but it basically all comes down to this: there is simply nowhere else I would even consider leaving my two dogs when I have to be away. My dogs are really high-energy, and at Alpine Dog Ranch I know they will get a ton of exercise, plenty of play time with Thomas & Keren's family, access to a waterfall (!) and all the lizards they could ever want to chase, all for the same price or cheaper than a cramped boarding kennel in town. My doggies are always crazy happy when we turn up the road to Alpine Dog Ranch, and they are always perfectly tired out and content when I pick them up. It's an amazing value and I feel so lucky to have found Alpine Dog Ranch.
