They have the best quality meats and excellent fish. They have a few other grocery items, but it's mostly a butcher/fish monger. They do have fresh sandwiches to go, also.

Kangaroo meat! My friend and I went here in search of elk and were floored by their selection of rare meats. We ended up buying elk and kangaroo. I was tempted by the rattle snake but the price was just a little too high at around $60. Very good selection of meats, cheeses, deli items and chips. And, I have to say that the kangaroo was delicious. I was a little wary of trying it, but I loved it. I don't know if that makes me a bad person! We are definitely returning to pick up more meat soon, and I cannot wait!

I love this place! Ironically, I'm a vegetarian - but their whole store has some great things to buy. All the groceries are higher end quality, and I can never decide which to try next.
Even though I don't eat meat - I do however, purchase marrow bones (and beef) for my dogs; which are priced cheaper than Meat Again in Billerica. They also store them fresh and not frozen (Meat Again freezes them and put them in a bin for purchasing). The staff is so nice! Everytime I get marrow bones, they ask how big the dog is, and ask if I'd like them to cut it in half - shows they really care, and go the extra mile (even though it's just for a dog).
Heard the beef & chicken are great, but I cannot speak to that :(

Alpine Butcher Shop is an excellent spot to grab a sandwich. They get a lot of business from the office building across the street.
The Buffalo Wrap is solid. I dig their Spicy Boom-Boom Roast beef too.
Generally, I come here for some steaks to cook at home as the quality of the 'butchery' part of this butcher shop is pretty solid. I've grabbed a fair share of wine and beer here too. The selection is small but really good. Banana Bread Beer!

Fresh & LOCAL Grocery!! Not to mention some pretty snazzy prepared food items too! When you just need something quickly and don't want to find yourself getting lost in Costco, Hannaford, or Market Basket - Alpine Butcher is akin to a local version of Trader Joe's with beautiful and deliciously fresh and local foods.
What I love about Alpine Butcher:
- Glass Bottle Milk from Shaw Farms (local!) in amazing flavors (like banana!)
- Freshly Prepared Hot Lunches or Dinners to go
- Steamed Vegetable Medly
- Local & Organic Salad Greens
- Local Salad Dressings
- Local Shaw Farms Ice Cream (w/ or w/out sugar added)
- Local Salad Dressings
- Local Meats
- Organic and Whole Boxed & Canned Goods

Fresh turkey sandwiches! I hardly come across super fresh turkey, but this place definitely serves a lot of it. I ordered their standard turkey breast sandwich and it's quite tasty! There's really nothing spectacular in the sandwich, but something about it gives it the right kick.
For $6.29, you can get a sandwich with either a side of cole slaw or a bag of chips. The workers here are really nice and the service is quick. This is definitely a good place to hit up for lunch if you want to do something healthy for yourself! -

Alpine Butcher makes really good sandwiches and wraps because they are a deli first and foremost. Their choice of meats to put in their food is the way every sandwich shop should operate! The one thing I was disappointed with was that on weekends they do not have the large assortment of sandwiches and wraps available.
I did notice that some of their groceries do have very competitive prices compared to their large competitors! Look well and you'll find some great deals!!!

This place just opened, all new. Across from Crosspoint at the rt 3/110 exit. This is a great place with high quality meats. The deli carries Boar's Head meats. The Delux ham was very good and not too salty, the peppered turkey was delicious. I got some boneless/skinless chicken breasts and was quite pleased that they were trimmed properly with no extras for me to trim. They cooked wonderfully and did not dry out. Taste was what it should be and very tender. The ground beef tasted more like steak and was flavourful. The sweet italian sausage had actual chunks of meat, not all ground up to bits. I wasn't partial to their flavouring of them but they were quality and the meat good. They also have a variety of sauces, breads, produce and wine to complement your meat dish needs. The staff was just perfect, knowledgeable and friendly. Prices high but reflective of quality. On par with Hannaford for price and above in quality. Should give Butcher Boy a run for its money.

Great place! I go here all the time, and I love it.
My only complaint is that they don't have some kind of a "take a number" system...there have been a few times I waited almost 15 minutes! (Once I just walked out).
But the prepared food, deli and fresh-cut meats here are incredible! Highly recommended!
