I could not have been more pleased with the service I have received from Alpine Auto. The owners did a fantastic job with my two vehicles, and have always been very forthright with with the facts.
I took my car into a Midas (?, maybe some other place, can't remember) and had my car serviced, but then something started going wrong with my car's engine so I took it back and they said something about a piston being shot and it would be $200-$400 to repair/replace. I took it to Alpine for them to have a look, and they said that while it's easy to jump to that conclusion, with my vehicles model it was probably something else that made it appear to be this case. I can't remember what it was, but it was still something to do with the piston, so while replacing the piston would have fixed it, my repairs were a fraction of the cost of replacing the piston. They found the real problem, switched out the part, and I drove away in a day.
With my truck, my master cylinder went out and a Brakes Plus or Just Brakes told me it would be $500. Alpine did the work for less than half that and 3 years later I'm still driving my truck just fine.
I will ONLY take my vehicles to Alpine from now on. Could not be more satisfied to know of a mechanic I trust.
