Been here a few times and I was happily surprised when I noticed during our last visit that they had upgraded the space.  New screens, computers, seating areas- very nice.

I've been here twice for Midnight bowling which I love!!  They turn down the lights, turn up the music, and there are several drink and food specials throughout the night.

So glad they upgraded, can't wait to be back.

Great place, had my son's bowling party there. Friends that had their parties in other places were VERY impressed with the party room. A big recommend! Thanks to their excellent crew.

Took small fry here to get out of the heat one Sunday afternoon.  Looks like the place has been remodeled recently and is a nonsmoking venue.  Automatic scoring is a plus.

Shoes were decent, but had smiley faces drawn on the toes.  Odd.  Kids bowling balls are kept behind the counter.

    Huge disappointments:
    * Asked to get a lane with bumpers.  Was told they weren't available, only to notice another family using them.  :(  We only bowled one game since small fry was getting gutter balls and she wasn't having the best time.

    * Pizza from the snack bar was decent, but couldn't get a drink refill as the snack bar attendant was outside smoking.

Possibly the oldest bowling center ever?!  Maybe not but Aloma Bowl is pretty old.  This is your old fashioned style bowling alley like every other one from the 70's and 80's.  They tried putting in new couches and furniture which looks okay BUT with every two lanes sharing the same 2 couches, it can get awkward.  I'm also surprised they have automated scoring...but that is a plus.  The bowling ball selection is quite bad.  Half of them were previously owned by individuals so they say like "Harold" OR "Minnie" OR "General Lee".  All of the balls are scuffed up and gashed beyond belief.  Most of them I'm sure have been there since the 1990's.

When we did go, the staff was SUPER nice and they did have a pretty sweet bowling deal going on.

2 Hours of Bowling for up to 6 people
    Shoes for each person
Pizza or Wings or Pitcher of Beer
    Pitcher of Beer

Sooo if you eat beforehand you can get two pitches of beer and all of that was about $54 + tax.  If you break it down, that's pretty good.

Had my birthday party here last month.  Yeah, I felt like I was five again but it was awesome.  We reserved three lanes for three hours and each one came with a large pizza, pitcher of soda, and shoes for all bowlers for under $60 per person.  What a great deal.  The building is really old but they have modern technology for entering bowler names and calling the front desk.  The staff members were cool and they us stay a few minutes late to finish the games.  When it comes to bowling, Aloma Bowling Center is as good as it gets.  They have everything you want in a bowling alley:  Good lanes, food, full bar, decent house shoes and balls, and fun atmosphere.  I hadn't been to this place since high school but we had such a good time that I'm sure we'll be back again soon.

Guy behind the desk was friendly, facility is clean and it wasn't crowded when we went on a Friday night.  To me, if you've seen one bowling alley you've seen them all and they only vary in degrees of cleanliness and the number of patrons.

I completely agree with Suzanne's review. This place is classic! Full bar area, great snack bar, video games and computerized scoreboards. What else do you need? They have good beer specials and tasty unhealthy food, I love it! I like to meet up with friends once in a while for Monday night 1$ games after 9pm. The employees are solid and it's a fun place to throw down a few games of bowling. Classic bowling alley.
