AMAZING! They are now located in Bougainvillea plaza across the street from the King Kamehameha Mall.
Perfect for releasing tension after a long trip over the pacific.
I fell in the shower about a year ago and suffered stiffness and pain. With the combination of massage and acupuncture, I am able to move with ease and rest on that side of my body. -

I was looking for a Hawaiian massage therapist in Kona and I found one, randomly and luckily. Lilinoe is the person to see here if you want an intuitive and personal massage that is centered on your particular needs at the time. She has real talent as a natural healer and her relaxing energy is wonderful. Lilinoe does great hot stone, deep tissue, and Lomi-lomi so whatever your needs are, you can't go wrong. Not to mention the awesome price! The last hour massage I had by her was so good, it really seemed like more than an hour but it was just the nice relaxing state you really want to be in during a massage!

Awesome place. Personalized, effective therapeutic massage at an econmical price. If you are looking for a warm and fuzzy luxury foofy spa experience, this isn't the place for you necessarily. It's quiet and peaceful, but has a more clinical feel. But if you want to have your body truly fixed by highly skilled, honest people who genuinely care about your wellness, this is the place for you. I had an ongoing issue with my neck, that didn't respond to massage or even PT, and Tyrone, the owner and acupuncturist, gave me a shiatsu massage and figured out that part of my neck pain was coming from tightness in my left leg due to an old injury and metal plate and screws there. Apparently, that meridian correlates with my neck in Chinese Medicine. He worked on it and gave me a small elastic brace with magnets to wear on my leg afterward and, voila!, my neck pain dissapeared. The entire massage was pretty deep (so speak up if you prefer a very light, relaxing style), and a little painful at times, but I knew that he was working out some really stubborn knots and I breathed throught it and felt great after. I was light as air when I left and had freedom of movement that I couldn't believe. The price was unbeatable. $55. I've heard from a friend that you can get a combination of massage with some acupuncture needles thrown in if that's what you need to clear up an issue. Parking near their place is challenging, so leave a few extra minutes to find a spot in the packed lot. People come and go all day in that parking lot, so you sometimes have to wait a few minutes.

Tyrone is a modest, kind, and skilled acupuncturist and massage therapist. Their place is tucked away but once you find it you will be back.
He offers reflexology, acupuncture, and massage that will suit even the most particular like my husband who demands deep massage a challenge for most practitioners.
We have been going here for years and would recommend it for locals and travelers alike.. -

Thanks Yelpers for your reviews of this place. For part of our vacation, we stayed at the King Kam. Because of Yelp, we found an economical massage location that was within easy walking distance of our hotel. Also, my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our couples massage (Their expertise was very evident and they did not chatter, as some massage therapists do when one has a couple's massage.) Also, because of chronic back issues, I do better when I have a deep tissue massage from someone who knows what (s)he is doing. I can definitely say that I experienced that here at Aloha! When back in the area, I definitely plan to come back!

My hotel wanted $110+ for a hour massage. After looking around I found Aloha to be one of the cheapest massages within Kona. Currently they are located in the tiny brown mall on the same side of the street and right before the Honda dealer (the owner said he was trying to upgrade to a nicer location). The place is tiny and no frills but that being said you can't beat a 50 minute massage for $55 + tax. I enjoyed the warm hospitality from the owner and received a relaxing massage so I rounded the tip up to make the total $70. If you want an enjoyable massage at an outstanding price, look no further.

This place has great massages and their service was prompt and excellent! I went here with my husband one afternoon. We made appointments that morning for a session that afternoon with no problem. After 3 days of swimming and snorkeling we were getting rather sore and achey so we definitely needed a deep tissue massage without all the bells and whistles of a full-service spa.
Aloha healing massage definitely fits the bill as a great no-frills place with extrememly friendly service and great massages all at a great price. In Hawaii, where most hour-long spa services cost upward of 110, Aloha Healing was able to provide us with 80 minute massages for 85 bucks. And the massages were great, real nice deep pressure but not painful. Definitely more of the qi-going tui-na style chinese massage that me and my husband enjoy.
I got a Marriott gift card, so I went to the Mandara Spa at the Marriott in Maui a few days later and got the worst, most overpriced massage ever. I will definitely will think twice about going to anymore hotel spas for massage.
Aloha Healing massage is the place to go on the Big Island!!Listed in: Foodies take on Big Island

Massage 50min $55 / 80min $85, but this is more of a Chinese massage (as others have said) so expect more force and movement, maybe even some handchopping on your back. Don't expect to fall asleep with these massages, you will feel more awake when you walk out.
You cannot beat the price or the convenience of this basic massage and friendly staff. I have had two massages here, the first on short notice and they were able to accomodate me a few hours later.
Located in the King Kamehameha Mall (just one building), next to the Honda dealer (if that helps). -

We each had 2 hour massages. I had Aisha. Do not recall the name of the other therapist. We both like a deeper stronger massage and the therapists were able to provide that. At points, I was so relaxed that I dozed off especially during the foot massage portion which I wish lasted longer since it felt so good.
The massages were $55/hour + tip. I was more than happy to leave a 20% tip for how relaxed I felt afterwards. Keep in mind this is a no frills massage place so you will not get the "spa feel" you get at the hotels and resorts.
Our next trip back to the Big Island, we will definitely be visiting Aloha Healing again only earlier this time so we can squeeze in two visits during our vacation.
Thank you Yelp for leading us here. -

$45 for a 50 minute massage, facial massage, foot reflexology or acupuncture session!! The massages and facial massages are FANTASTIC! As is the foot rub (since it's really not reflexology mode, but a great foot rub nonetheless) with a combination acupuncture if you need it. The couple who runs the place are AWESOME and I love going back there over and over again. Weighed down by mental stress? Try to facial massage which is essentially energy work on the brain - smoothing away stressed out muscles and lines. Get there soon cuz I keep telling them they need to raise their rates!

This is one of the best places for a massage in Kona. You can get several kinds of massages, but the deep tissue with reflexology and accupunture is a hard to beat combo. Can't beat the service and price!
