When going to a concert/event at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, one of the costs that people don't normally think about is parking.  Parking at the Pavilion is $20 bucks, outdoor auxiliary lots are $15, and street parking is kinda far and inconvenient.

But you're in luck, three short blocks from the main entrance to the HP Pavilion is the Almaden Financial Plaza Garage with tons of parking space.  The best part about this garage is that its only $10, the cheapest hosted parking in the area.  What's also nice is that there are two exits to the garage.  You can miss all the traffic after the concert on Santa Clara Street and get on San Fernando Street, which is parallel to Santa Clara, to quickly get to the after party (or your next destination).

This hidden find has not only saved me cash, but also countless hours of time.
