Review from Joan S.
This park is not so big on size
But its huge, gorgeous trees are a treat for the eyes
It's on a hill, divided by the street
And it's so high up that the view is sweet
In the distance you'll see the Vincent Thomas Bridge
Through the droopy big trees, it's a very cool image
There's a play area for kids & a few benches
The trees engulf you and their shade just drenches
The park's age is revealed by an old stone wall
Reminds me of Averill, but Alma is small
No matter, however......the vibe is good
It captures you just the way a park should
See the photos, ten

Review from Andy P.
Pros: Nicely secluded, plenty of shade, ample parking
Cons: Weathered and bumpy walkways, tagging on the playground, infrastructure is deteriorating, smells like weed, nothing more than a small playground -

This park is close to me but not necessarily my favorite in San Pedro. Lots of teens hang here, and with that comes tagging, weed, and police. There's little pockets that aren't visible to the street which is nice for a little picnic. The park is well maintained but could benefit from some repaving. Its nice to take a quick walk with your dogs or take little kids to play on the playground.

Lots of teens hang out here... Not too bad. Small park but has wonderful big trees.
