Christy was a pleasure througout the stressful experience of planning my wedding reception at the Log Cabin in SF.
She had the event scheduled down to the minute and thought of all kinds of details that I never would have considered on my own. She also took the time to understand what I wanted out the day and executed on the vision flawlessly.
On the day of the event she was professional, organized and made sure everything ran smoothly.
I highly recommend Christy for a dream wedding! -

I was so lucky to have Christy and Allure for my wedding!!! My husband and I were married in October of 2010. I knew early on that I'd need someone helping us since we lived in Los Angeles and were planning on getting married in Monterey/ Carmel.
Christy was my rock through the process. I can be a bit controlling and I needed someone who could help me let go of things and trust. Luckily, Christy is way more detail-oriented than I am! She was so professional and kept me on track of my milestones.
The day of our wedding was magic. The moment Christy opened the doors for me at San Carlos Cathedral, I knew everything was perfect. From walking down the aisle to the moment Sean and I left the reception holding hands, I knew we nailed it. My wedding was a dream come true.
The adrenaline of the day makes it all a blur, but I do know Christy was always within 20 feet of me. She sensed me the whole day and made sure I was happy. She kept us all on schedule and made sure all of our vendors were on target.
I cannot recommend Christy and Allure more for a wedding. She and I worked together for nine months with the Full Planning package, pin pointing every detail, every shade, every musical note together. If I had to do it again, I would start my process with Allure! -

I {heart} Allure Consulting! My wedding was in '04 and we worked closely with Michelle. She was amazing to work with - professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We chose the 'Day Of' package since we had already found/contracted with most of our vendors. I mainly wanted someone to oversee our big day. I fully believe our wedding wouldn't have been as successful as it was without her. The minute she arrived on the wedding morning, I felt a sense of calm and reassurance. The best gift we could have given ourselves! Many of our vendors also commented on how impressed they were by her as well.
Since then, Allure Consulting has done a couple of my friend's weddings as well as my sister's. All based on my recommendation. Each of them have had the same positive experience! Kristen worked on my sister's wedding in '09 and did a fabulous job. Definite must for a seamless wedding day! -

You know it's trouble when the venue sends you a contract that is some 27 pages long and when your original budget ended up spiraling out of control and tripled. You know Michelle, Kristen, and Matt at Allure Consulting are extraordinary and did an amazing job when everything went smoothly and you did not hear about any hiccup the entire day after you, the bride, have been nervous about it all for the past 28 months. You wake up the morning of the wedding and all you have to worry about is how you're going to goof off with your bridesmaids while getting ready.
Upon hearing Michelle pick up the phone and verifying that I hadn't called some adult 800/900 number, it was love at first phone call. (She denies it, but I'm pretty convinced she runs something of that sort after hours with that voice!) She can sweet talk all your vendors but if need be, she can release the inner lioness.
Hiring Michelle for our wedding was money well spent. She's really friendly and has a great sense of humor. In working with her, no question was ever too small for her and no feat ever too large. She's incredibly responsible and organized and took care of our wedding details down to the fork on our rental order. She really made being a bridezilla a difficult task because there was nothing I COULD freak out about and I'm sure my bridesmaids are thankful for this.
Every time there was a concern, we called Michelle and she and her team took care of it. She referred us amazing vendors that our guests (and ourselves) are still raving about and she was so much fun to work with. She will make you laugh....hard! Her online website that she provides you for planning your event even rivals The Knot's.
Michelle did a wonderful job ensuring all our vendors were in compliance with the venue's requirements prior to the event. During the event, she did a fantastic job coordinating with everyone to make sure everyone kept up with the timeline which was notable considering we had a late start to the day due to the complex task of setting up everything up before allowing guests to enter. The San Francisco City Hall Event Manager even commented on how impressive it was that we were able to catch up and keep with the timeline as most weddings at the venue usually fell and stayed behind schedule.
After the wedding, Michelle did a great job taking care of all the wrap up activities which allowed us to savor the wedding experience without having to deal with the little details.
Michelle, thank you so much for making our wedding day something so wonderful to remember. You and your team are amazing!

Michelle Martinez started Allure in 2003, Christy Daly joined in 2008, and now they operate the company together--Michelle out of the Boston Metropolitan Area and Christy out of the SF Bay Area. Both Michelle and Christy are certified wedding consultants.

Christy Daly runs Allure's west coast office in the San Francisco Bay Area. Christy specializes in Month-of Coordination and she is a certified wedding consultant, she has also received a certification in gay wedding planning from the Gay Wedding Institute. Christy lives in San Jose and plans weddings all over the Bay Area, from Monterey to Napa and beyond. Christy runs the Allure blog www.allureconsulting.com/blog
