Only for the takeout pizza. I LOVE their 2 slice special. It's cheap, and I dk how but the slices are like crack... so good. I will be sad to be moving away from this little place.

Really, really uninspiring food.  Got some sort of chicken rice combo dish, which was terrible.  Tried some of my friend's fried chicken, which was also quite subpar.

I've stopped in a couple times, and I've never had a bad slice of pizza here.  It's usually pretty prompt service, and the guys that work there will round down on prices if you're paying with cash, which is cool.

If you're coming back from Brighton Music Hall or if you're leaving a show at the Paradise Club, and you're absolutely "stahvin," then check Allston Village Pizza.

Sometimes the pizza is the BEST and sometimes its just okay, it depends on who makes it, which is annoying. But when its good its gooooood. AND its $13.99 for TWO large cheese pizzas!!

Also, strange, but sometimes the pizza is cut into 8 pieces, and sometimes it is cut into 6 pieces. Sometimes, if you get multiple pizzas, they will all be different. Can't figure it out, its like the Da Vinci Code.

I will agree that one should NEVER, EVER order delivery from this place.  My boyfriend and I actually love the pizza when we pick it up ourselves, which was exceptionally easy when I lived on St. Lukes Road. But, moving out of walking range we decided to try other places. Big Daddy was a huge let down, as well as Papa Johns and across the street pizza from Brighton House of Pizza tastes funny. When we found out that Allston Village had delivery we were psyched. Ordered just one large cheese pizza and it took over 45 minutes to get here (note: the driving time is no more that 5 minutes) and the pizza was ICE COLD.

That being said. I do love the pizza here. I have no idea what they do but I'm a fan. Crispy french fries, YUM! Subs... ham&cheese use to be good but not so much anymore.

    Now I want pizza,

It used to be called Alexander Pizza & Grill, but the name changed a while ago. No one corrected it here.

I go here about three times a month. It's located at the Packard's Corner/Brighton Ave. T stop, across from the Super 88. I know you're probably thinking "why would anyone go anywhere to eat instead of Super 88?" but this place is a nice secret. I almost always get the chicken cutlet sub (I order it LTO style, not sauce and cheese style, though you can have it either way). I give the place 4 stars just for that. They make it perfect every time. The steak and cheese is good, ask for extra cheese though, unless you like your sub dry.
There are about 4-5 little tables inside and a flat screen tv that usually has some reality show on or the news - depending on the hour. The guys are nice and round your bill down if you pay with cash. Of course, they deliver too and are very quick with their orders.

I just waited over an hour for a delivery that was supposed to take 30 minutes (called after 45 to be told any minute, yea, that was off by about 20 minutes) and it's the wrong meal. The guy on the phone couldn't be any less helpful in getting me my right order. My food is lukewarm so that rules out them forgetting about my order and not sending it out until I called.

They insist I got the right order and it was late because I didn't open the door. Luckily I can get the credit card charges reversed. I've never had a restaurant insist that the wrong order is right because the delivery driver who didn't see the meal says it is.

With how rude and unhelpful the employees are here I would never recommend ordering from this place when there are so many other similar restaurants in the area.

I have to admit this place was bad.  They forgot to put eggs on a grinder that literally only required eggs and steak.  One lady was painting her nails while making my food.  Was not a fan.

Better than Dominos & Papa Johns by far. Ever since I moved to Boston i've been looking desperately for a spot with something at least close to NY pizza & Allston Village is pretty close! Haven't tried having them deliver but I hear that's a pain but for carryout its a great, inexpensive choice that I absolutely love.

I live about 5 mins drive from this restaurant, but I got my food about an hour after I placed an order on Foodler and guess what? The food was cold. I will not order from here again.

Potentially very good. I've only had two deliveries, but I like what I see so far. This place has free delivery, a cheap minimum, reasonably priced foodstuffs, and a good variety. And more importantly, it tastes good. Fries are ok, not sure how I feel about them yet. It's a shame I didn't order all my loathed_delivery_food_i_have_to_eat_because_i'm_to o_busy_to_cook fare here all year.

Garbage.  Medium Rare steak tips came cooked to the consistency of bark, bark that tastes like too much pepper.

The pizza here was ok, nothing special, but not bad. If you like pizza with crust that's more bread-like, you would probably like this pizza. I personally like pizzas that are crispier, so this didn't exactly hit the spot. If I were to order from here again, I would ask them to cook the pizza longer.

This place sucks.  No really, the food is horrible and the delivery time is outrageous.  An hour ten just to get a small pizza and antipasto less than a mile away.

Moreover the food sucks, I ordered one of their specialties and the antipasto.  The chicken alfredo pizza was basically some poorly grill-fried chicken on a cheap  industrial pizza crust (think Red Barron) with alfredo sauce spread on top.  The antipasto/ salad was no better, the tomatoes and cucumbers appeared to have been cut a couple days ago but the olive are direct from the can with water.  The cold cut cheese/ roll on top was direct from Star market.  In fact, all the food looked like it was fresh from Star market; Cold cuts, cheese, and of course the pizza pie crust and alfredo sauce.  Nothing from scratch at this place.

Best of all, while handing me a barely warm pizza the driver outrageously remind me to watch myself to avoid a burn.

So I say we all stand firm against horrible food and just say no, nay never, no more.

I'd been craving grilled cheese all day, so I ordered the grilled cheese with bacon from here.  Not only did the guy send me a BLT, but then gave me attitude when I asked him to send my the correct order.  It was only after I told him to refund my order did he agree to resend the sandwich.  Honestly, it was like speaking to a child.  If he told me "you want me to send you a piece of cheese" again, I was going to flip.  Outright rude, immediately confrontational when he got the order wrong, and then hung up on me.  No way to do business and I will never order from here again.
