I've ben to Allstars at the Madison Street location. I just wanted everyone to know Allstars has moved to Wells/Wacker. I enjoyed my food and service at the first place and had a great time last night at the second one.
We watched the Blackhawks win and munched on appetizers while having cocktails. The owner was on hand to make sure everyone was having a good time and made sure we had everything we wanted/needed.
Make sure to check out the new location for good pub food, easy prices and great service!

This is a great lunch and happy hour spot, especially if you wanna meet people that work at Orbitz across the street.  The owner is a wonderful guy who bends over backwards to accommodate his customers and goes the extra mile to make it possible to do group events here on a regular basis so props for that!

Bar food is standard, sandwiches, salads, appetizers, great wings and saucy help.  I've had lunch here a hundred times if once and its always been good.   I've always had polite and professional service, even when the place has been swamped and never had any problems with turn around, even when in a hurry.

Its a great sports bar with some wonderful memorabilia and definitely have seen some sports celebs hanging out-the legendary Stan Mikita on one occaision.

Great sports bar, decent food, speedy service, wonderful for groups and delivers catering.

What's a girl to do when one of her sports crazy friends calls to say that he's watching the Bears and Sox play and can I come?  So I jump in my car and head to what has to be the strangest location for a sports bar ever- inside the Presidential Towers.  I felt like I was walking through a shopping mall to get to this place.

Allstar was pretty empty on this Sunday afternoon (even with all the sports action)- but after talking to a "regular" I guess this is the place to hang if you live in the building or to grab an after work drink. The place was dead and even when the action on the screen warranted a yell- it was done half heartedly so I knew we needed to change bars ASAP!

Pretty much your standard bar fare in terms of burgers, wings, potato skins, etc .  Oddly enough- they were out of every beer I ordered on tap and so I finally just went with a bottled version.

Street parking is a bit of a challenge but there is a parking garage across the street.

In my book- there are a lot better places to watch a game in this town.  So at half time we moved to a better location in the West Loop with some real Bears fans.  Now that's how I like to spend my Sunday.

Great place to grab a quick fairly inexpensive drink on the way home. I come here alot during the summer months after work (they know me, smh). The regulars are very friendly along with the bartenders. I have yet to eat here but I am guessing most people who visit the bar aren't really looking for food.

I would suggest a visit if en route to Union Station or somewhere west

This place is a decent place to grab a drink in the loop. Allstars is your average sportsbar, but the drinks are reasonable and the food is pretty good. The menu includes the regular bar staples along with other items like pasta and salads. I've only had the bar basics - chips & salsa (chips a bit on the stale side), fries and a quesadilla so I can't comment on the quality of the other items.

Inside is pretty spacious, there's a room in back that is good for groups. I've been there with school friends and it easily housed 20+ people. The bar also has a pool table too.

Bottom line, good place to grab a beer, watch the game or have a quick bite in the loop without spending a small fortune. On off nights/times the place isn't too crowded which is nice (all bets are off on Friday for happy hour). Also, steer clear of any drink with grapefruit juice, my drink of choice is a greyhound (vodka-grapefruit) and the "juice" they put in resembled and tasted like pink crystal light (crystal light fans that's not meant to be a compliment). My next drink was vodka-cranberry, which didn't disappoint.

2 burgers for the price of 1 Mondays thru Wednesdays.
This is helpful because for whatever reason I always end up drinking too much on Tuesday nights.

I used to live in Presidential Towers, so this place is obviously convenient for a close-by restaurant and bar.

I've been here a few times and the food is good and the drinks are reasonable.

This place screams typical: bar food, pitchers of Miller Lite, Golden Tee.  Lots of sports paraphernalia on the walls and tons of TVs so it's a good place to catch a game.  There's a lot of seating, as well.  Tons of booths, tables and seating at the bar.  They have an outdoor patio area in the summer, which is always fun.

Tried to grab a drink and a quick bite here on Wednesday after work. Outside area was pretty packed but inside was just about empty. Been here a few times - its big enough and across from my office so its practical but nothing special.

We let the server know we were on a short schedule and said if we couldn't get food in time no worries, but she said all was OK. We ordered our drinks and both my friends got lime instead of olives, no big deal. She brought out the correct stuff.

We flagged her down to take our order twice, but she said she needed a few. We finally got our order in - mini burgers and two quesadillas. Simple enough. It. Took. Forever. 45 minutes after sitting in a 1/4 filled restaurant later we had to leave. I have gotten delivery from food 2 miles away quicker than sitting her waiting for my order. The waitress comped our food - (uh, thanks).

It was a simple food - and the place was not crowded. What gives? Apparently they have a huge demand for carry out orders (makes sense since it is in Pres. Towers) but really shouldn't you be focusing on your paying customers in the restaurant? Maybe they should open a separate carry out area and devote staff to that to speed up the process. I have eaten here before and the quality of staff and food does not warrant waiting around for 45 min to eat cheese pressed between a tortilla. I learned my lesson.

Try again Allstar - because right now you are only at 2 stars.

    THIS LOCATION HAS CLOSED.

The Presidential Towers are under construction and this location moved to the Loop location off of Wacker.

I've eaten here for lunch a couple times.  The service is fast if you're on your lunch hour, which is good.

The food is typical bar food.  I had a salad once with questionable lettuce, but it was edible.  I've also had the burgers here and they're pretty good.

Service varies - some servers are good, some are not.  The bartenders here are cool.

All Stars had some type of arrangement with my previous employers so we would frequent this place regularly.  It was convenient for me as I could hop across the street up to the Metra and hop on the train.

There would be an after work crowd typically and some people in that either lived in or were utilizing the corporate housing of Presidential Towers.

As stated the food was very standard for a bar and the service could be hit or miss.   Once the place filled up the service would get worse to the point of you had no idea when you would get your food.

Not a bad after work place but there always seemed to be this seedy element in there.  I would recommend watching your stuff closely.

The wait staff is courteous; there's always an interesting after work crowd there. They have good monthly specials, and when my group inadvertently ordered drinks because we thought it was still on the specials menu, the management nicely rectified the situation instead of being reasonable. So that means they're keeping our business!

The Cobb Salad is plentiful in portion. Solid Appetizer sampler, wings, and onion rings.

Just had a burger and beers here for lunch, and boy am I stuffed! I've been coming here for a few years now, and I have never had a bad experience. What makes this bar mediocre is the atmosphere. Sports bar by day, weird pick-up joint by night. I've seen some strange things go down here, I'll just leave it at that.

    C+!!

If you love the movie "Office Space" but can't make it to a Chotchki's type restaurant out in the burbs, then this is the place for you. Located in a space formerly occupied by a Bennigans, Allstars has recreated the perfect suburban chain restaurant experience for you right in the heart of the city! The food is your typical bar food, minus the awesome blossom. And the service is quick, important for us loop minions on lunchbreaks!

This place has really good mozarella sticks!! The cesar salad and quesadilla are pretty good too. The wait staff is very friendly. I was looking at a coupon on one of the tables, and the server allowed us to apply it to our bill! I didnt even have to ask! There a bunch of tvs here and during the summertime they have outdoor seating. On certain days they have beer bucket specials and other promotions. It is conveniently located in the Presidential Towers building.  If you call in your food order, you can pick it up within 15 minutes.

I've been there more than a few times. I work right there and I know a lot of people that like to do happy hour there. Its a really laid back environment with decent drink prices. I would not do food there unless you were absolutely desperate. However, they did recently change the menu so things might have gotten better. Who knows? Anything would be an improvement from what they had. If you are downtown you should stop in for a drink.

This is a great spot to drink before or after you get on or off from Union Station.  It's about 3 blocks away or so.  It's a decent sized bar that can accomodate a large group.  It has a very laid back casual atmosphere.  I didn't get to try any of the food here, but it will be something I try for the next time I'm taking a train ride somewhere.  The prices are pretty average, and the waitress was really nice.  They also have plenty of tv screens to watch any type of sporting event.  They also have a pool table and I think darts too.

After work on a Friday, this is where we usually end up. The drinks are cheap and the service is reasonable. It is always overcrowded and the layout is not really set up for a large group for happy hour. Aside from Rivers (which is way too overpriced), Allstars is a nice alternative. Be sure to get there early and save some tables or you may just be out of luck.

I work right down the street from All Star and have been here on multiple occasions, each time vowing I'll never come back, but since the food is alright at best and it's nearby I have been here several times. I decided to finally review it because after my experience today, I am truly never going back. The service has always been slow, today, it took us over an hour just to get the chicken wings we ordered. Important to mention the fries we ordered with the wings came 30 minutes beforehand. The waitress was barely around, never coming to explain what the hold up was or anything. Finally after a long hour and fifteen minute wait, the wings came. They weren't even cooked all the way! After asking for a part of the meal to be comped, we were told she would look into getting us a free pepsi....wtf are you kidding me??  If you want crappy service to go along with mediocre food, this is your place. If you actually want to get served in a decent amount of time or are in a hurry, don't go to All Star.
