Anytime someone asks me where to go for bikes, I tell them Allspeed. While it is a little out of the way in North Deering, it is worth the trip. They are very straight forward and reasonable with their repairs and pricing. I had a headset installed at the shop and later had issues with it. I brought the bike back in, troubleshot the problem, and left without an additional bill. There is no reason to go anywhere else in Portland for a bike repair.

This small shop is all about service. I went to them to have a warranty repair done - no $ for them - yet they still treated me with respect and warmth. While in the shop, I noticed them giving solid advice to other shoppers and I could really see that they care about their customers.
They handle bike & ski sales and repairs and have a decent selection of both.
You might save a couple bucks at some big-box place, but good luck getting assistance after (or even before!) the sale. I'm happy to "keep it local" and spend my money at this Portland store.
I'm going back for sure and am glad I have the chance to yelp about it. -

Great shop, great guys, fast repairs. I have had to go in while on a ride and they did the repair immediately and got me back on my way.
Allspeed sponsors a variety of rides for differing levels and styles.
