I met Brad a few years ago when I worked as the benefits administrator for a small software company. I was immediately impressed by his "realness". I felt like he totally understood our needs and often anticipated needs even before we could fully articulate them. He is very responsive and resourceful, and I always felt it was his genuine mission to help us find the best solution for our company's needs. He never tried to steer us in one direction or the other for personal gain.
As others reviewers have mentioned, he is paid broker fees by insurance companies. You do not pay anything extra to use his service, but save a lot of time and hassle. He can cut through red tape, and is very knowledgeable about all the options out there.
Brad helped me implement a comprehensive insurance plan for our staff of 23, giving us multiple health plans to choose from, plus dental and vision. He came in and met with employees to explain plan options in more detail and even created a benefits at a glance grid incorporating all the plan options (saving me hours of effort and headache doing this myself.)
A few months down the line we added more employees out of state, and he helped me talk them all through the insurance forms and plans via on-line conferencing.
Whenever an employee had a coverage issue, or we needed extra support working through some glitch with a carrier, Brad was always available to advocate on our behalf and help resolve things.
When our company (sadly) went out of business recently, Brad helped me find an individual plan for myself and my family. When some of my former co-workers started up a new business, they told me they used Brad and he has been (not surprisingly) a pleasure to work with. I have referred many friends and colleagues to him, and will continue to do so. -

I had insurance through work for years. Then I didn't. And when you don't, it's not like you can go out and simply get it. Oh, wait! You CAN, but it'll cost you.
Fortunately, I got a priceless referral from a friend to Brad at Allpointe. While I still pay a pretty penny for insurance, Brad helped me find the best plan to fit my needs. (And it's totally not his fault about the pretty penny, by the way. Insurance companies are a scam and a total rip off. But I digress.)
Bottom line: If you're in need of insurance, call Brad. He's knowledgeable and patient, and won't disappear into the ether when you have either ridiculous or legitimate questions regarding your policy... not to mention he's professional and didn't seem to bat an eye at any of my neurotic emails. I can barely talk about the health care system without going into cardiac arrest. We are just the most fucked up, backwards, inhumane country when it comes to this issue.
I know, I'm singing to the choir. Still, if my mother asks me one more time why I can't get health insurance, i'm going to shove my hand through a wall, and then not get proper medical care, and lose the use of my hand, possibly develop a staph infection, and die a slow painful death because it would have cost me 70,000 dollars out of pocket just to be admitted to the hospital that is literally right around the corner from my house.
I cannot get health insurance, plain and simple. I am self employed, with pre-existing conditions, that includes getting prescribed allergy medicine (flonase, Zyrtec) 3 years ago.
That's where Brad comes in. I found him on a thread about insurance on this here website. I called him immediately. He didn't have to help me, because it was obvious there wasn't going to be any ins. company commission in this. But he didn't just help me, he empathized with me. He laughed and cried with me. And most of all he helped me--with some ideas and options I would never have known existed (because the health ins. companies want to keep their deep dark secrets). Brad really knows his stuff.
I am a happier/healthier woman today. Just from this phone-call. I was even able to call my mother and let her know that even though she comes from a generation where health insurance was cheap and a given, I at-least have a band-aid, that will cover me if indeed I put my hand through a wall. Brad was extremely knowledgeable about all the different types of health insurance out there, and helped me quickly find the best one that I would qualify for. If you've ever delved into the world of health insurance, and tried to figure it all out yourself, you'll know that this is no small feat.
Initially, I tried applying for insurance by myself, using one of the online insurance sites. I pored through online insurance information, wasted several hours applying for different insurance packages online, and got rejected every time for ridiculous reasons, with incomprehensible explanations. Brad talked to me for about 5 minutes and was immediately able to recommend a plan, email me the application, and then submitted it before the end of that day. I was approved within a few days and finally don't have to worry about it anymore!
Best of all, his broker fee is baked right in to your insurance premium. You would pay it directly to the insurance company anyway, so you pay the same amount, whether you apply through an online portal or get customized help from someone like Brad. I was more than happy to have that fee go to Brad, since he actually helped me and made sense when I talked to him on the phone, which is way more than I can say for the insurance company that I called. -

I was on a tight schedule for setting up a new health insurance plan post-COBRA and thanks to Brad it was set up in time. He always responded very quickly to e-mails, offered clear answers to my questions and provided the necessary information to review my options. Great!

Brad KNOWS health insurance. I was skeptical of all these great reviews on yelp, because oftentimes, they're friends of the business owner...but in this case, Brad really is the man when it comes to your health insurance needs.

Brad Vaccaro at Allpointe Insurance was recommended to me by a friend I really trust when it comes to the important stuff. Brad helped my husband and I navigate through the confusing world of health insurance plans. Knowing that we are self employed and wanting to keep our monthly nut down he found us a great plan to cover us. He was also able to add in maternity benefits to cover the birth of our 2nd child. Two thumbs way up for Brad and Allpointe Insurance he is great at what he does - straight forward and ultra responsive!

I would highly suggest going to an insurance broker if you are in need of getting your own insurance. I called several brokers. Some didn't call me back. One quickly sent the forms and then I never heard from them again. One emailed me, but then disappeared for weeks. Now he keeps calling me harassing me. The others didn't really answer my questions or just confused me.
Brad from Allpointe called me back that day and was able to answer all of my questions and more. I felt like he actually was listening to me. I was happy that I had this service.
He emailed me the two plans that I could try to apply for. I have pre existing conditions, so who knows what will happen. I had questions so we emailed back and forth with one final phone meeting.
He doesn't have an office so it is all email/fax/phone. It may take a few days to get in touch with him, which can be stressful in a stressful situation. So far that has been the only negative. But when you get to talk, he knows his stuff and will help you. The forms can be tricky to fill out and makes it much more clear. He definitely is the most knowledgeable. So, take advantage of this service. -

I highly recommend Brad Vaccaro and Allpointe Insurance Services. Brad helped me figure out a more appropriate plan and we were able to lower my monthly insurance payments by over $200. What a relief!
Aside from the financial help though, Brad was very attentive and patient in answering my many questions, calls and emails. I felt comfortable talking to him, which is really important given that health insurance can be a rather personal subject.
Also, he has a program on his website where you can put in all your details and get information on varies plans and rates. It is nice to be able to browse what is out there in a comprehensive summary.
Overall, I was thrilled with the service and the results!
And one more thing, I am based in LA, so even though the business says San Francisco, Brad can help you even if you are not in SF! -

I just got off the phone with Brad....and he answered all my insurance questions. He was well versed in all the various plans and issues regarding getting healthcare insurance. It's refreshing to speak to someone who will explain all this healthcare stuff in plain English.
If anyone is looking for a healthcare plan....talk to Brad first! -

i don't write reviews unless its exceptional and brad is more than that.
needing insurance with a young family while trying to navigate through all the new laws and plans can easily be a overwhelming experience in what can be such a critical life planning decision.
brad simply cares about you and he's like a super guide in an industry of sky rocketing costs and uncertainty and efficiently and knowledgeably provides solutions that are ones that you feel he'd think of for his own family.
highly, highly recommended. don't bother calling anyone else. i tried... if they call you back at all... they are typically unmotivated sitting on their existing policy renewals.
thank you brad on behalf of my family.
btw, brad specializes in small business less than 50 people! just right for you new startups out there
