love this place. I've known the owner for a while and she is always fair with the prices; if there is some defect, even a minor one, she'll hack off 25% no problem, sometimes more. The girls are very sweet and helpful, and I love the clear organization of the sizes in the store, as well as the sales racks! I come here all the time and feel great every time I leave. Highly recommend.

Prompt with appointments, they are so organized and have got it down! Trust their system and don't be too shocked if you have 4-6 weeks till you can get in. Their 50/50 is worth it. *I see a review to the side that it's now 40% to consignors...hmmmmm
Contract is straight forward and clear. Cash payout.
I don't spend too much time shopping here but have browsed while waiting for my things to be gone through at drop-off. Some high-end and quality items...some items I question how it got through their strict quality control. Prices are very reasonable. Fitting rooms, accessories, shoes, handbags and more!
Staff is young but very professional and friendly.
If they like something but it's not the right season they ask that you bring it back, I like that they show an interest and most times they do end up taking it in the right season. -

If you are planning on consigning your clothes here, save yourself the time. You will earn more money if you donate to Good Will and write it off on your taxes (I'm not kidding).
I had a terrible experience consigning my clothes here and will elaborate. I dropped off 30 items for consignment in May and when I came back in June the cashier cashed me out $33 and said I had already made $35 for the next pay period. I thought...not too shabby considering that I had dropped off lots of brand new or never worn jeans and jackets and tops from the Gap, Banana Republic, etc. Well in the last 3 months I had a C-Section and a new baby...so I couldn't get back to the store to cash out. I thought when I do go at least everything will be sold and I know I at least have 35$ coming. So I go over today and the owner has a hard time finding me in the computer cause it's been a little while, she finally does find me and says I have $17 to cash out. I am a little confused as to why it's so little especially since I picked up the first amount about 15 days after I dropped the clothes off, so for 2 1/2 more months of selling time I only made $17? I asked her if she was sure and that I was told a different amount by the gentlemen who helped me earlier. She gets very defensive and swings her computer around and tells me that her computer doesn't lie. Ok...I can tell I am frustrating her because I am asking so many questions and she starts getting flustered. So finally I just ask if she can tell me how many of my items sold...I am just trying to figure out why it's so little. She tells me that 3 items didn't sell so it's however many I dropped off minus 3. She couldn't tell me how many items I had sold even though she had it in front of her on her magic computer that doesn't lie. I have no idea why, unless she knew that their book keeping isn't very accurate. Finally I just gave up and left, I am not going to fight with her over $35, but hopefully I can save other people the trouble. If they were willing to provide people with more documentation on which items sold and for how much (like all of the other consignment stores do) they wouldn't have to deal with people like me (HA!). Anyways, I still think it's rude to treat their consigners like poo, especially when their business is supported by people who trust them to do the right thing. There is very little paperwork or documentation of what sells or for how much at this store, they like to keep you in the dark. Based on how rude and defensive the owner was towards me I can tell this must happen to her a lot, or she is just behaving that way because she knows what she's doing is wrong.
OH, and I couldn't agree more with the filtered one star reviews (there is a ton!). -

I dig it!
We stopped in here the other day based on your reviews here, and brought some clothes we decided we didnt wear for consignment.
I ended up finding a cute cami top and a necklace for the stellar price of $9/both!
A lot of the bags are not authentic - but still a good value.
If you'd like to consign some clothing here, be sure its in season and make an appointment!!
You could walk out with a new outfit for about $20! -

This is the best consignment store around! Lots and lots of selection. There is a dedicated rack for each size (one for small, one for medium, etc.), which is so easy for shopping! There is lots of room to move around and isn't as crowded and stuffed full of clothes as other consignment stores. All the clothes are in great condition and many are almost brand new. It is so great not to have to go the mall anymore!!! :)

I go to this place to look at their $2 rack. I consistently find nice clothes for $2 each! SCORE! They've also got a decent collection of designer purses for way cheaper than retail prices. Note... they don't accept debit card or credit card purchases under $5.

I discovered Alligator Purse quite by accident. I was looking for a consignment shop to take my Jane Yoo designer bag. When I walked into the door, I was hooked. Purses everywhere! I love purses, and like to find unique ones. I didn't leave without a handbag, and vowed to return to shop and not just check on the status of my consignment items.
Yesterday, I hit pay dirt. I found a real Coach Legacy Signature Gigi Business Bag for $90.00! I knew it was the 'real thing' by the placement of the patterns on the Jacquard fabric (double c's) and the inside tag, describing the purse, had raised lettering all in caps. The clerks couldn't have been nicer, and made me feel that they valued my business. Alligator Purse is my favorite consignment shop to date. -

Came hoping to score some cute clothes for a deal, but sadly left empty handed.
The prices here are comparable to sale prices for new clothes...why would anyone pay these prices for second-hand clothes?
It's a small store, not a huge selection. It's pretty decently organized. Make an appointment if you want to sell stuff to them.
Service was just so-so. I had to call them for their address because they've moved locations half a year ago. As a courtesy to them, I told them that their address is incorrect on most online sources, they're reply was a short, "we don't care"...okaaay...
Not my kind of store. -

3 stars because they took all my stuff and they were very friendly and clear on their process. The pros end there... although it was good for the aforementioned reasons their lack of organization turned me off. The person going through the items I intended to sell mysteriously disappeared, leaving a confused employee to (poorly) finish the transaction. I like the people that work there, but I don't intend to consign there again.

Alligator Purse is my favorite favorite thrift store! I just recently discovered it while out shopping with the boyfriend- and we both scored some awesome clothes at crazy prices. The ladies working the shop were very friendly and helpful, which was great because we were in there trying stuff on for a very long time. AND the music they play is awesome. Love this store!

By far my favorite consignment store! 90% of the time I come out with something "new" for my wardrobe that I didn't even know I wanted/needed. They get lots of new clothes in regularly so it's like a new experience every time. Like most consignment stores it can be hit of miss, but they have so much variety that I can usually find something. They're super picking about what they take in too so they're clothes rarely have many flaws.
In short, if you need to fill that shopping void in your life, stop in here and leave with a handful of good finds! -

This is my FAVORITE consignment shop! The owner carries all name brand clothes, shoes and hand bags at really affordable pricing. The name brands are mostly high end like Versache and Louis Vatton. I picked up a Kate Spade original bag there over the summer for $30!!! Not a single thing wrong with it!

Great store! Definitely a treasure hunt - some days hit, others miss - but that's half the fun. Don't pass by the $2 rack without checking it out. I have found several AMAZING treasures (Nine West black stilettos worn maybe twice, my favorite pair of Gap jeans, slacks for work etc...) and I'm pretty picky - best kept secret in town!!!
