We trust Allegretti Rug Masters to clean our numerous Oriental rugs. They use eco-friendly products and are very careful to make sure that the rug is not damaged in the cleaning process. Mark Allegretti personally guarantees the quality of their work. The one time we did have some slight dye run in a rug, he took it back and cleaned it two more times to make sure it was just right. His staff is also very professional and courteous. AND they will pick up and deliver even outside of Evanston (we live in Andersonville).
As for their showroom - WOW! Mark takes the time to get to know your personal preferences and can pull out rugs that you will fall in love with. He's patient and does not pressure you to buy anything, knowing that a quality rug is an investment. Last time we were in, I could not make up my mind between two rugs and flippantly asked for a "buy one, get one free deal." He actually did come down on the total price for us and we went home with both rugs!
Overall, I highly recommend Allegretti Rug Masters. Mark is a really great guy and all the staff is top-notch. Their services are professional and thorough, and they stand behind their work.
