I've been taking my cars to these guys since they were on Folsom Street. I can't imagine going anywhere else.
The service is awesome. Honest and direct.
Don't know what I'd do without Al, Jr and Ben (and, everybody else).
Love you guys! -

Just got new tires and an alignment done today and it only took 1 hour - super fast service.
I've been here three different times for new tires/alignment and Alan and his team provided great service. They know what they are doing and do consistent, dependable work. -

Great place to get tires or brakes done. I always call ahead to make sure they aren't full. I usually get my car at the time it's promised. I've done research to see where to get the best price for tires--this place is it. On top of that I got two of my tires at least 3 or 4 years ago and yesterday they gave me a free tire rotation.

This place is a great option for a lot of people in SF for tires and other car maintenance. A bit pricey, but for minor issues (where the absolute difference in cost is still less than a few beers), or where you're uncomfortable with mechanics or in a hurry, it's a great choice. (and still cheaper than a dealership)
I had a piece of glass in my tire, causing a flat. I wasn't sure if I needed a replacement tire (under road hazard warranty with Continental), or just a patch, so I was calling around to see who had my specific size of ExtremeContact DWS in stock; All Tire did.
I drove over on my spare, and when I got there, excellent service -- they were able to patch the tire (since it was a clean puncture in the tread; I'm used to run flats or sidewall damage which can't be patched), and I got my oil changed at the same time (with the specific M1 0w-40 that they didn't have in stock, but picked up). They had everything done in a couple hours, and there are plenty of things in Potrero Hill near their location.
Their pricing is straightforward and no nonsense, but definitely is on the high end of the market. A tire patch down in Mountain View is $5-10, and a lot of places will do it for free. At All-Tire, it was $30. I really don't mind paying $20 for knowing the job will be done right, and working with a garage which is pleasant and speedy, but if you're on a budget, there are probably other options for cheaper service. -

5 Stars all the way. I took my car in and I had two nail punctures. What bad luck. But they charged me for one. That was very nice. And they completed it fast. Nice service, nice prices. If you need tire repair in San Francisco I highly recommend this store. Thanks.

If I could give them a negative star for customer service I would. We had our tires replaced here last September. Our tire went flat on our way to wine country last month and we tried calling at 445...they asked us to hold for a minute...we waited on hold for 25 minutes! No one ever returned to the line. I tried calling 4 additional times and no one answered. I looked online at their business hours...they closed at 4pm...who puts someone on hold for 25 minutes? Or doesn't answer 4 phone calls. Never returning here ever again!
We drove down to the shop the following weekend to repair our damaged tire...they told us that it was not covered under warranty (7 months old tire) and identified another tire (purchased from costco 1 month before) and said we would need to replace both tires (buy 2 new ones) because these repairs were not covered under warranty...we decided to head over to Costco..Costco replaced their tire for free and said that this type of damage on a tire less than a year old would be covered under their warranty. We replaced our All-Tire tire at Costco...now we dont have to worry about lack of service, purchasing new tires on what should be covered under warranty again. -

Needed a quick mend for a puncture in my tire, and they said "come on down!" 30 minutes later, I'm driving away without a care in the world. Nice folks, decent price--I'd certainly consider going back there for more substantial work.

My car had a bad tire so I I asked for a reco where to buy a new pair since you can't just replace one. I went to All Tire and because i have a four wheel drive, it was best to replace them all at one.
I was given a few choices and the guys there offered their perspective. I feel like it was fair and balanced. I wound up spending $750 on four tires and felt great about it. They will rotate them every 5K miles for free.
I considered going to Costco or Sears but I doubt I would have saved anything. I was very happy to spend locally and support a small business person in San Francisco. -

These guys are THE BEST.
I had a slow leak in one of my tires, ending with a completely flat tire in 2 days. Brought it in to BMW SF, they wanted me to buy new tires without even taking a look at the car. Installation fees alone was $80/tire! Not trusting them, I yelped for a reliable tire shop nearby, and called AAA to tow the car to All-Tire.
With no prior appointment on a Friday afternoon, these guys took a look at my car after a 30min wait and diagnosed it within another half hour. Turns out the bar code sticker on the tire was causing an incomplete seal with the rim, causing the slow leak. They smoothed it down (don't ask me how), but now my tire is working fine!
Cost? A mere $30. Try beating that! Thanks guys! -

I've had tire repairs here twice. Both experiences were positive: fast, pleasant, and the price was right. I'll definitely be back when it's time to buy tires.

I am a big fan of All Tire. I've had to take my car here for flats twice now and they are always fast, courteous, professional and personal. Junior who runs it is awesome, and he also referred me to an excellent tow truck service, which was faster than anytime I have ever called a service. Plus they brought a flatbed, very helpful for my low-rider.
If you find yourself with a flat, or two, I highly recommend All Tire. -

So I ran over a screw, had my tire patched, I hit a curb, I had it patched again....
Got my car serviced at my dealership- oddly enough when I asked them to look at my tire they found nothing wrong. The next day I go outside to my car & the tire is flat. THANKS TOYOTA FOR DOING SUCH A GREAT JOB....
On my lunch break the next day I ran over to all-tire. They fixed my tire correctly in about 30 min and I was out the door, no more tire headache! -

It takes a special kind of fuckup to lose a spare tire, but I managed to do it. This didn't really bother me until I scheduled a roadtrip that involved desolate, windy roads.
I came to All Tire on short notice, with very little money, and with the well-earned female suspicion of being ripped off on anything car-related.
Al called about a zillion places until he found a used volkswagen spare that I could afford. He was excellent---professional, extraorinarily helpful and a joy to deal with. Great service all around. -

On my way down Bayshore, I thought my sweet ride (1990 Ford Ranger w/a camper shell - shut up and stop laughing) seemed a little wonky but when I turned onto my street that's when I knew I had a flat tire and then when I turned the corner to find a parking spot there was no doubt I was driving on my rim. Uh, that's bad, yes?
I was able to park quickly and when I looked at the right-front tire it looked the tread had been cut off. It had 'sploded.
I called AAA to come put on the spare (AAA, not diamonds, is a girl's best friend) and when the very nice AAA guy pulled his air compressor hose over to try to refill it (he hadn't seen it yet) I offered him a million dollars if he could re-inflate it. Hey, for a million, I'd have at least tried.
After a little research, I chose All-Tire on Potrero. There was no downside to the experience and the good service started with my initial phone call. I had already chosen to replace both front tires and use the left-front as the new spare (the old one was looking pretty ragged) and I was out of there in 45 minutes with a reasonably priced pair of tires -- all with friendly straight-forward service. -

Have you ever been nailed and screwed? It can be deflating.... I'm refering to tires of course... what were you thinking?
I had a double puncture experience recently and the guys at All-Tire made sure I had a happy ending. Within the lunch hour they patched my tire, only $30 and was back to work . Happily inflated. -

I must have picked up a screw while driving near the new Esprit Park construction in the Dogpatch and my husband was sharp eyed enough to spot it even though the tire wasn't flat.
The tires are under warranty at America's Tire (free patch) but the 30 min drive down to the nearest location in Redwood City, and the ensuing 1-2 hour wait didn't sound to enticing. We decided we would rather pay a few bucks to have the tire patched than deal with that.
Hence, we ended up at All Tire mid-day Saturday. The one hour estimate for the work was about right and he called us when it was ready. We returned to the shop to find out that the screw hadn't gone all the way in. They pulled it out and the tire still holds air. Best part? No charge. :-D
Definitely recommend, looks like a solid place to get all your tire boo-boo's fixed. Well priced, friendly, and efficient. -

As a lady, all things car tend to scare/worry me. The nice gentleman at All-tire sold me some nicely priced "off-brand" tires (and explained that this means they are made by Michelin though not marketed as such) and installed them in exactly the amount of time promised, and also politely notified me that I should have my front brakes replaced immediately... which was good to know, considering six months ago I had been told they'd be fine for years. (hmfpt.)
I also was given patient lessons on all things tire, which will definitely help me to be less scared/worried next time I have a tire issue. Yay! -

Thanks to my messy contractors, I backed over a giant nail (in a giant piece of wood! How??) and my tire deflated -presto-.
After AAA changed it out for my spare, I took the car to All-Tire on Potrero.
They were greta-- helped me right away, took only 45 minutes, and pointed me in the direction of four different coffee shops to visit while I waited.
They patched the tire, replaced the spare in its hidey-spot under the car, and charged me only $25. Fantastic. -

Thank you Yelp--I choose All Tires because of all the positive reviews and they were right!
I literally disintegrate my rear left tire 3 Sundays ago while driving on 101 S (nothing was left but the rim). I needed to get a replacement for the spare that AAA had put in, so I called All Tires on Monday morning and spoke to Larry. He didn't have my tire in stock, but said he could order it from the warehouse and he would be able to get it that same day!
At 3 PM I received a call from Jr. letting me know my tire had arrived. I arrived there at 5 PM, and was out of there by 5:15 PM. Who hoo!
My tire was $134.99 on Good Year's website. I got it for $126.99 from All Tire, so great pricing as well! -

I used to shop at their old location back in the 80's. At that time, they carried a wide array of high end rims and tires, specializing in high performance accessories and wheel packages. So I always thought of them as a higher end automotive shop.
Well, gone are the Fittipaldi's, the Momo's, the BBS, & Enkei rims. Gone are the chrome wheel and exhaust displays. They've been under new ownership for awhile and the direction of the store has changed.
The store it self looks a little run down, but they have a parking lot which helps in that part of town. And thankfully, they still carry Pirelli, and at great prices I must say. I've been shopping by phone and received various quotes for Pirelli P6's for my car and nothing was close to what All Tire quoted me. They even beat Costco!
The service was fast and the person behind the counter (I forget his name) was a cool guy. I'd highly recommend this place if you are looking for quality tires at a great price. -

The spousal unit and I were out for a jaunt to Hayes Valley, and found a primo parking spot in front of Absinthe. As I plugged the meter, I heard the spouse: "What the %#%$$# is this??" A board with 2 small nails was embedded in our tire. Being fairly automobile illiterate we started our search for a place that would repair tires on a Saturday afternoon (surprisingly few). After searching yelp for 10 minutes we settled on All Tires.
We drove in, explaining we were not sure if the tire was punctured (yes we have sucker written across our foreheads). They said they would need to take the tire off, and it would be $30 for a patch. We took off and wandered around to Sports Basement and the Potrero Center until they summoned us back about 20-30 minutes later. The manager said it wasn't punctured, and the car was parked on the side of the building.
The spouse: "How much do we owe you?"
Manager: "Nothing"
(Whaaaat??? Seriously? Really?)
The spouse: "Are you sure we can't give you _something_"
Manager: *waves us away*
In this day and age? Can you believe that?? If I have another problem, we are coming back here FOR SURE.
As for people complaining about the price, I would rather pay a few bucks more for an HONEST place any day. -

I agree with all the other reviews: these guys are fantastic.
When you research car scams, a lot of them are related to tires. These guys are ethical and nice and fast and friendly and never try to up-sell or claim you need things you don't need.
I had a puncture that led to a slow leak. They found it, patched it, charged me next-to-nothing and got me on my way right away. I love these guys. -

I've taken my car here twice now, and I've been thoroughly impressed both times. Once I rolled in with a screw in my tire - 30 mins and $20 bucks later I was good to go.
I figured they were good to me once, so I took my car in for a tire rotation / F&R alignment / wheel balancing. When I picked up the car, the owner(?) was nice enough to let me know what had been causing the shimmies, and ensured that any high speed/long distance journeys would be worry free.
Quality work, no bullshit upsell, honest prices. Nice. -

I hate going to the mechanics as much as I hate going to the Doctor...
Only do it when I absolutely have to.
Which was this morning, at 8am (not my best hour FYI).
They not only rushed to get me taken care of and off to work, but made a point to check the air in my spare, reload my spare back in place, and place my jack back into it's storage spot in the trunk (no easy feat there, i'm convinced it's designed by the devil...)
AND they had me out the door in under 20 minutes.
The price?
EXTREMELY REASONABLE
(actually a bargain, considering the service and great attitude of the staff)
Will certainly be using them again when i have to.
or maybe before. -

i really appreciate the work these guys do. i bought my spiders there (think snow chains that don't suck) and they were very helpful throughout the process. i usually swap over to my snow tires/wheels, and mount the spider plates myself. this year i am pressed for time and may just have them do it.
Update - I've been going back for my tire/brake needs ever since then. I've had some bad lick with tires this year! Anyway, the staff there are better and better every time I show up. Great work, done quickly and for VERY fair prices.1 Previous Review: Show all »

Having had to visit these guys (as recommended by Chuck over at Ed's garage in SOMA) twice in the last week (screw in tire and uneven driving issue) they were great both times.
One free inspection (nothing found - suspected tire defect) and a 10 min all hands tire fix for the puncture (30$) and they have won my repeat business hands down. They even talked my over various dodgy practices used in some places and reasons why changing the gas type in the tire is a waste of time unless you are an F1 driver. Good honest guys.
Lets hope I'm not back there soon! -

Since I work nearby, I usually get an estimate from these guys when I need wheel work. They are consistantly 20-40% above the market. Just asked about an alignment. $90. Next guy was $59, no one over $69. Same with some sprngs I wanted installed a few months ago, except the disparity was even higher. Gave 2 stars, since they might be great guys. I will never know with their prices.

This is my go-to tire spot from this day forward. I got a flat tire this morning on my way to work. After calling AAA, I drove over to a gas station/mechanic in my neighborhood to get the flat tire looked at to see if it could be mended. After "inspecting" the tire, they informed me that it was damaged beyond repair and that I would need to purchase a new tire. They offered to sell me one but I had a wierd feeling and decided to check out another spot. The Audi dealership referred me to All-Tire. When I showed up, not only did they tell me that they could mend my tire and save me the $200 for a new tire, but they also did it in less than 20 minutes and charged me $20. They were honest, friendly and fast. They could've easily charged me for a new tire (b/c I went there with that expectation) but they didn't. A lifetime customer is born. Go to All-Tire for all of your tire needs...

More expensive than they should be. Some of the guys that work there are cool, but the chunky white guy with the thick glasses has a bit of a chip on his shoulder, gives advice that is misleading. Costco and Larkin Bros. are better bets for new tires.

I normally feel screwed over after leaving any auto repair place, but had a surprisingly positive experience here. They open early (7:30), didn't over charge me or try to up sell me, two tires were replaced in less than 30 minutes, AND they didn't make fun of me for the tons of crap in my trunk that they had to sort through to put the spare away for me. Even though I was about $200 poorer, I didn't feel all that bad about it. I'd go back to them again, but I hope I don't have to for a while!

Took my car to get a nail out of my tire about 30 minutes before they were closing and they said they couldn't do it because "they closed all their books down for the night." Then they told me to come back the next morning which I did and said it would take 45 mins to patch my tire. How hard is it to patch a freaken tire.

This shop is great. When my body shop needed to replace a wheel and tire that had been damaged in an accident, they took care of the replacement and alignment at All Tire. A couple days later I was talking to friends who had similar damage to their cars and their body shops sent the cars to All Tire. I have since had to replace my tires and went there. They were very patient and knowledgeable. I asked about alignment and they said if there was a need, they would do it. My front end did not need alignment and they told me so. It would have been very easy for them to pad their invoice but they didn't. Between my experience and the fact that at least three high end body shops use All Tire, they are a safe bet. Prices are about what I have seen at other tire and wheel shops.

Painless! Woke up this past weekend with a flat tire. Filled it up and Drove to this spot because it was very close and got good reviews. Took only about an hour to plug two screw holes. Cost $30 for the work to be done and then I was back cruising around the city :-) No problems with the patch job as of now. I would recommend this place, they are the go-to spot in this part of town for tire repairs!

These guys are professionals. I needed to replace all 4 tires and correct the alignment. While I didn't get a response right away online through the estimator from the website, I got more from the phone call. Larry, the owner, was very helpful and explained to me my options. He didn't rush me or talk down to me since I'm a woman like some of these other auto shops do. I brought it in and everyone I came in contact with were friendly and even better, seemed happy working there. It was busy...always a good sign too. It took them about an hour and a half to finish everything which was fast! I got competitive pricing on the tires and the alignment was complimentary. Now my car drives great!
