I hadn't gotten my hair cut in 3 years, so it was in pretty bad shape. I finally decided enough was enough and got on Yelp to find a good, affordable stylist. I saw that Danika at All Teased Up had gotten several good reviews, so I decided to give her a try. I can definitely see why she's been rated so well- my hair looks MUCH better and she was incredibly friendly. I didn't have an appointment, I just walked in around 5:15 (they close at 6:00), and Danika willingly set to work on repairing my hair. I am hoping to get my hair cut every few months now (rather than every few years), and I'll definitely plan to give Danika a call in the future!

All Teased Up didn't strike me as somewhere to go when I first pulled up but Danika is there and that is reason enough for anyone to give this place a go.
She's been the only person I have trusted with my hair in the past 6+ years and it will stay that way. It doesn't matter if you've got day to day hair or an ever growing mohawk she's got the skills to handle it all and make sure you walk out happy . -

What a great haircut! Danica was super helpful and very professional. As someone who is pretty low key with my hair, I was worried that her blue hair was a sign that I'd get more than I bargained form, but she had such an open and welcoming attitude about what I needed in my hair. She was receptive to my worries about the texture, the style, and how to do it myself (I need a LOW maintenance haircut). Best of all, it was $20 for a cut an flat iron. I know the next time I go back, as she gains a stronger client base, it'll be more but totally worth it!
Go see Danica! -

My mom ran a beauty shop in the small Nebraska town where I grew up. Not a fancy-dancy salon--it was a beauty shop. In fact, the sign out front said "Leona's Beauty Shop". It was the kind of place where the neighborhood ladies would gather on a Saturday morning to get whatever kind of cut, set or toxic chemical alteration they needed for their locks. I have fond memories of listening to mom and her customers chat and gossip. The ladies always seemed to enjoy each other's company and the friendly atmosphere my mom created for them.
I sensed the same kind of vibe when I walked into All Teased Up. The stylists had every chair packed with ladies getting all kinds of stuff done to their hair. Of course, I'm a dude and I was looking for the barber. The ladies greeted me with smiles. "Are you looking for the barber?" They pointed me to the left.
Patrick the Master Barber has an antique barber chair set up in the corner of the salon, right in the middle of all that lady hair works. The buzz of a busy lady's salon isn't what you'd typically expect on a trip to the barber. Guys, don't let the beauty shop put you off. You'll get some serious barbering here. Patrick is professional and very talented.
Patrick did an AWESOME job on my hair. It had just been majorly f**ked up by another stylist at a big name barbershop that I won't name. Patrick fixed up the mess and sent me out the door with my head held high. A straight razor clean-up, ear hair trim and vibro massage sealed the deal. I feel like a new man. I think I've finally found my new neighborhood barber. -

just moved to the area, had a job interview, and was worried about finding a good barber. Went to All Teased Up because it was the closest place to my house and it was great!
Patrick did a great job on my hair and beard, was very friendly, and gives you a small massage at the end. on top of that - the price was right. awesome! -

I get my hair cut by Patrick at All Teased Up, after following him from a barbershop in NW Portland. Patrick is a super professional awesome barber and stylist.
His cut regularly includes straight razor shave at the edges and this awesome vibration massage thing for the back. I think Patrick brings the classic barbershop experience to Portland.
Price is reasonable and he's a great guy. The shop, All Teased Up is sometimes hard to see but once you find it parking is easy. -

Cathy Schmitz does a great job and has a good feel for men's styles and is willing to adjust and experiment. Great conversation, too!

We moved from California and I had been searching for a salon to do my hair. After a few phone calls, several messages and even a cancelled appointment, I just about gave up. Then I was given Janet's number. I left her a message and she called back! I was so happy just to get a return call. She even worked out an appointment for me. Now I was HAPPY!
Janet is AWESOME. She was fast, professional and she made me feel comfortable. Her prices are AWESOME and worth every penny. I am so thankful I was referred to her. We had a wonderful time chatting and I walked out looking wonderful. My hair is shiny and feels soft. I can't wait for my next appointment
Thanks Janet!
