We've been having Melissa at All Star Pets take care of our two cats for nearly three years. Since day one we've been comfortable having Melissa in our home and every time we come home the cats are relaxed, content and certainly well fed and cared for.
We really appreciate the extra effort Melissa takes in writing us an update on how each visit went.

I just want to say that Melissa at All Star Pets is the best dog walker since I moved to New York in 2005. She is always professional, courteous, and wonderful with my 80 lb love Every walk comes with a report card, which is extremely important to any pet owner - how many times and what kind of 'business' is a good indicator of a healthy tummy!
Recently, Melissa hired Gillian who also walked my pup and she was wonderful as well. Both are so knowledgeable and able to handle big dogs - that's a rarity in the city!
I highly recommend All Star Pets as someone you can trust to take good care of your pup. A++++! -

Great dog-walkers are like great babysitters (I have 2- kids). You look for a person who is trust worthy, extremely reliable, friendly, warm, and POSITIVE. Melissa has these assets plus more...
My anxious cockapoo took a "liking" to her from the first visit. She was able to find common ground with him immediately, and continues to build on that relationship.

It's always a little terrifying to hand your dog-walking duties--and your apartment keys--off to someone you just met. But Melissa of All Star Pets made it easy. She was punctual, professional, extremely courteous, and an obvious dog devotee. I highly recommend her services!

Melissa has been the dog walker for my precious pug, Dominick, since I brought him home from the breeder at 2 months old. I interviewed quite a few dog walkers. But Melissa was so caring and loving towards him, I knew she would be the best fit. For the past almost 2 years, I have never been disappointed by Melissa. She is always prompt, very professional, flexible and caring about Dom. No task is too much for her to handle, Dom had quite a few problems with his eyes and sometimes his tummy. No matter what, I felt assured that Melissa would be helpful and take good care of him and give him his medicine while I was at work. He absolutely loves her and gets so excited when he sees her! Gillian started a few months ago and she is fantastic as well! She is just as professional and loving as Melissa. Dom has grown up to be an awesome happy dog. This has happened with All Star Pets and their care along the way!!

Meet the Business Owner: Melissa M.
I have been a pet owner my whole life and, in 2004, after a rigorous training course, I became a Certified Dog Groomer. After injuring my wrist on the job, I had to give up my passion of keeping pets clean and happy and take a job in corporate america. My desire to assist animals in some capacity was so strong that I started caring for friends' pets by doing overnight pet care and dog walks. After realizing that this new avenue was just as fulfilling as grooming, it wasn't long before All Star Pets was born.
Not only do I provide dog walking and pet sitting services, but I also provide nutrition and grooming tips. A proper diet is essential in the upkeep of an animals coat and overall health. A nice hour long walk on top of that makes for one healthy, well rounded pet.
I look forward to assisting with your pets' needs and will ensure that your pet will be an All Star Pet!
