My first time batting at a cage park was here, and I LOVED it!
You get 11 pitches for a buck, which isn't so bad. Their timed rates are definitely better, so if anything, go w/ a group of friends & trade off every once in a while for about 15 min or an hour.
Pretty sure they'd let you use their bats, but not sure since I always bring my own. The only downside is that it's hard to get in/out of their parking lot. Bellflower's not such a great place to drive around & their streets are pretty cramped, so be prepared to triple-check when you're about to make a turn out of there.
I usually go on weekdays, particularly in the afternoon, since that's when there's not too many people coming in to wait for. If you want to go on the weekend, you or a friend should go & get dibs on a cage. (This depends on the number of people waiting for a cage though: if there are too many, you can only use a cage for so long, unless you get a timed rate.)
Will definitely come back for more hits! (: -

Friendly staff. Their machines only accept quarters. 4 quarters gets you 11 pitches I think. Pretty small parking lot and a little run-down.

Do you remember that one game going up to bat and looking at the pitcher and you take your stance and focus???
Do you remember the ball coming in, and you thinking to yourself, ' Oh this one looks good'???
Finally, once the ball nears your batting swing, you focus in the attempt to make the greatest contact possible between the bat and the ball. Then as you follow through on your swing.................................you missed.
Well that just means you suck. So head down to All Star Park Batting Cages. Get some practice down and head back out to the ball park to show off to your buddies and say something like, ' Yeah, i just made contact. No big deal.'
The service here is great. They're super friendly. The machines are accurate and are known from time to time to put some pitches away from you and some come in close. Not very many wild pitches.
They have both token and hourly rates. You can also call in and reserve a cage to make sure you get all the possible swing time you'd like.
From all the times that i have been here the atmosphere is very calm. I totally dig this spot. I recommend it. -

Anyone else got baseball fever from watching postseason?? I know I do and I found that All Star Park Batting Cages was the perfect outlet to let my inner Roy Halladay smack a few baseballs around.
It's a fun activity with friends or family or even for a casual/fun date and it's all set at what I find to be a very affordable price! $1 gives you a 5 or 6 swings at a baseball if you just want to give it a whirl. But the better deal is to just pay for a timed session and switch off with friends. There's various pitching speeds available and you get to choose between baseball or softball. Bats and helmets are included in the fees you pay. Definitely a great deal and a nice change in your typical everyday activities. -

Had a great time here last weekend and got an hour of batting cages in. The people who worked there were very friendly and when the balls got jammed in the machine they were out quickly to fix the problem. For batting cages this place was small compared to other ones that I have been too. But it has a really good family enviroment that is clean and fun to be at. They have a variety of ways that you can pay to be at the cages, whether 11 pitches for a dollar or in 15 minute increments. The only reason this place didn't get a five star was that the balls got in the machine a couple too many times, but that won't stop me from making a return visit.

Everyone thought I was a softball player in high school. I did try out for the softball team in high school. I just didn't make it. They kept me around though and I practiced with the team, then the girls got mean. I guess it was because I was working harder than they were. Eh, whatever. Ended up on the track team instead.
I remember coming here for a college class assignment where I had to breakdown the movement of a baseball swing and name all the muscle groups that worked when a person took a swing. That was a crazy project, but it was a lot of fun.
So one day, my coworkers were talking it up so much that we decided to meet up at the batting cages instead of the bar to hit some balls. (Ya, I'm a ball buster) I don't know what it is about sports that draws me in. But it sure was fun.
After a few cracks of the bat, it's such a great feeling to hear the ping sounds knowing that the ball was knocked out of the park. I missed a few times because the ball sometimes would come out kind of funny. I just used coins for the pitches because the place filled out fast since a team was about to take over the cages.
They have several cages for softball and baseball. This place gets really busy because they have good prices and the park is maintained pretty well. The staff is really nice. There isn't much space in their parking lot, so you're better off just parking on the street somewhere.
It's just good ol' American fun. -

Took my kids for a few swings over the weekend....over all a good time. They provided all the gear needed. Friendly staff. One down fall...the balls kept getting stuck at the top of the belt and would take someone from the office to come out and get it going again.

Great batting cages. Prices are reasonable. Of all the batting cages I've visited in the Long Beach, Cerritos, and Lakewood area, this is by far my favorite place.
$1 = 13 pitches
15 minutes for $12
30 minutes for $22
1 hour for $34
They have 13 cages. 5 for softball (3 slow-pitch, 2 fast pitch [adjustable speed]) and 8 baseball cages. (one 35 mph, one 40 mph, two 50 mph, two 60 mph, one 70 mph, one 80 mph)
Make sure to visit their website and print out their coupons for the cage time rental ($1 off the 15 minutes, $2 off the 30 minutes, $3 off 1 hour)
My friend and I did a 30 minute rental. The good thing was after 13 pitches, we switched because the machine would stop and then to start it back up, you'd have to press the button on the inside of the cage.Listed in: The Places I Go Out, My Neighborhood

I haven't been the batting cages since I was playing little league in the 4th-5th grades - just about 14yrs ago and this was a pretty good place to go to start up again. The only thing about little league I remember (besides being beaned in the head and the side by baseballs) was that I really liked going to the batting cages!
This place was great since for just $1 I got to feel out the machine and sort of get back into the flow of things, and I went in the middle of a weekday so there weren't any lines or crowds watching. It was nice to see families there though too teaching their kids the basics.
I think I'll probably make my way there every once in a while to boost my ego imagining slow pitch softballs flying out for a home run haha :) -

This place hit the spot. We usually go to the Lakewood batting cages and since I was driving pass this one, I decided to stop in. It looked closed from the outside, so make sure you walk pass the reflective mirror doors and into the pro shop. The guy was pretty helpful since I told him it was my first time. BUT, a $1 token shoots only 10 balls at you while the Lakewood cages sends 12 flying at you. The softballs here looked and felt newer than the Lakewood cages. BUT the cages and netting were more enclosed. For a hitter, you'll know you hit the ball well just with the feeling of the hit rather than seeing the ball in flight. The parking lot was a bit small. But overall a good experience. I'll have to go back a few more times to check out the other facilities.

my cousin introduced this place to me and its been great ever since! very affordable and not too far from where I live, my advice is if you have your own bat and is comfy with it, you should bring it along!
