Backstory: I drove down from AZ to meet my mom from CA for lunch at Rosita's. Since we drove 3 hours each, figured we'd make the most out of it and see a movie.
This little 4 screen movie theater isn't so bad. Looks worse on the outside than it does on the inside. Heads up, you have to buy tickets inside at the same place you'd buy popcorn and sodas. Matinee is $6.25.
Once you walk in you see an arcade. There's a few crane machines, shooting games, DDR floors, a photo booth, etc. I guess the local kids come in here to play.
The people at the register were super friendly. This place even sells ice cream. Bathrooms are nice and clean too.
The theater itself isn't grand. Old school almost flat level type seating. It's pretty small, the screens aren't up to date, and the picture was slightly out of focus. Took the projection guy a few goes to try and get the movie to even start (lights on, lights off, black screen, out of focus picture, and THEN he figures it out). But all in all, It's the only theater for the next 53 miles so make the most of it and don't be so persnickety.
It works, we had fun. Honestly couldn't ask for more :) -
