Every time I write a review about a Chinese restaurant, I feel the need to reiterate that I come from a family that has owned Chinese restaurants for decades, and I know good Chinese take-out when I have it. So, yet again, I am re-iterating that point :-)

This place is the bomb diggity. From the moment I walked in and saw the funky interior, I was totally digging it. White tablecloths, dim lighting, extensive bar, jazz band in the corner... everything about this place sent good vibes up and down my body.

The menu is extensive and varied. The first half of it is all sushi, sashimi, etc., The rest of it, or the "cooked" menu, as I like to call it, is incredibly diverse. It contains dishes and flavors from not just China, but all over Asia. There's a mix of Thai, Malaysian and different varieties of Chinese cuisine in there. Whether you are a meat lover, vegetarian, or whatnot, you will find something to love.

Each time I've come here, my friends and I have shared The Sampler -- that's their version of a Pu Pu Platter. They have all sorts of goodies on there - crab rangoon, chicken wings, teriyaki, spareribs, spring rolls, etc. It is large enough to share with a group of four. Everything that I have ever gotten there has been delicious. The food is freshly prepared, piping hot, and perfectly seasoned. The sushi is OK -- I am not a sushi lover, but I have had a few things, and while the quality is not on par with some of the better sushi places in Boston, it is not bad at all.

The one complaint I have is the service -- it is a tad on the slower side. The food took a while to come out, the servers were polite, but not overly friendly, and they did not check in often. I like it when my water glass is always full, and I always found myself having to ask for things like water, hot sauce, etc.

Oh, and major props to the jazz band that was there two of the times that I went (and one time, a female singer joined them). It's not often I see a jazz band at an Asian place, so that was a great and welcomed change of pace. It provided for a more delightful dining experience, but the music wasn't so loud and annoying that I couldn't enjoy my meal and the company of my friends.

Now, this is going to sound weird...but I hate sushi. I can't do raw, or even slightly rare. So, why do I love this place? Because they have kickass martinis - and fabulous food for those of us on the non-sushi bandwagon!

The appetizers I highly recommend are calamari (crunchy, no chewy and cooked perfectly), crag rangoons (actual crab - not imitation) and shumai (delicately wrapped shrimp dumplings w/ a great sauce).

Their menu extends far beyond sushi (although every friend I bring there says the sushi is amazing) - and includes teppanyaki, pan-fried noodles and rices, along with a plethora of Chinese dishes (General Gao, Orange Beef, Hunan Shimrp etc.).

Portions are big, and ingredients are super fresh.

In addition there is a live jazz band on the weekends - and they have an extensive wine list. The martinis are potent (which seems to be true for every Asian restaurant I've ever had dinner at!) - and tasty. My favorite's include the Lycheetini and the French Martini (with champagne!).

It has been months since I've walked out of a restaurant so satisfied with the experience.  The folks at All Seasons Table did everything right, from the ambiance to the service to the quality of ingredients, and I am now eagerly anticipating the next time I could justify eating such a grand meal.

A jazz band was tucked away in a corner of the airy but comfortable dining room, and a pair of LCDs hung unobtrusively above the sushi and drink bars.  The chair were comfortable and the tables spacious.  Servers buzzed around with purpose.  It was exactly the kind of place I was in the mood for, and I hoped that the food would be as good as the environ.

It was, of course.  The sushi was delicious (think Ma Soba) but less expensive across the board.  The pork was savory and cooked perfectly.  The filet mignon tips (a special that evening) were absolutely wonderful, served alongside asparagus and rice.

I am so, so thrilled to have added this place to my Book of Go To Places, and I'm just as thrilled that the Yelp community at large seems to agree.  All Seasons Table proudly displays our sticker in their window.

Go here, folks.  You'll be glad you did.

Went here for a small gathering with friends for my boyfriend's birthday. It was insisted that I try the "sushi pizza" and I was very skeptical but when I saw it.. and then ate  piece after piece, I was sold. It was absolutely delicious.

We ordered quite a few small bottles of hot sake, which was absolutely delicious. The tempura was great as well, and they had a nice variety of dessert options.

I definitely want to go back to try out more of the sushi. The ambiance and decorations are very stream-lined and simple, typical Japanese and lovely.

A good friend recommended this place to me and I trust her very much so off we went!

The whole place is exactly my speed - a perfect mix of classy and elegant (warm decor, bamboo plants, cozy booths), sports bar (big, yet non-obtrusive, tvs at the bar), and spot on date night vibe (cool jazz trio, perfect place to chat and relax).

On to the food! Sushi: perfectly fresh, delicious, made to order, nonexistant wait time. Appetizers: the crab rangoon was served promptly and piping hot and the boneless ribs were delicious and not fatty at all. Dinner: the moo shi pork was some of the best I've ever tasted. And for $9.95 no less!

And the service? EXQUISITE. My water glass was never more than an inch empty, the table was cleared with every course, and I wanted for nothing. This is how a dining experience should be done.

All around, I'm so psyched to have discovered this place. To many happy returns!

My sister and I were in search of dinner - actually we were in search of oysters. Originally on Bolyston St, we perused the seafood fair and decided to head home to Malden, where we'd "settle" for something more in our price range.

We enter All Seasons Table - it's her first time, my third and the place never ceases to amaze me. I was born and raised in Malden, and it's always been more of a homely type of city with diners and chains, not classy, swanky places with live jazz.

That isn't to say we weren't incredibly pleased. It's like were high after dinner, but that might of been the plum wine and the fact that they served the oysters we craved. Might I add they're the best oysters I've ever had and were accompanied with a delicious, sweet fish sauce. So stupid good!

For an entree, we split the mango shrimp - one mango half each, the perfect sharing size. (It's like they knew!) We polished off the evening with dessert - the tempura ginger ice cream. Everything was amazing! We could have walked out of the restaurant, died on Pleasant Street, and when our friends shared the bad news, they'd comfort each other knowing that our last meal was at All Seasons Table.

One of the best upscale sushi experiences I've had outside of Boston. The decor of the place looks belonging of the Back Bay, yet it is in Malden center amongst convenience stores and bars.

The bar is very long. When we arrived, there was a wait for a table so we were able to get a seat at the bar instead, right in front of the sushi guys.

Service was rolling fast through the whole evening. The waitress and sushi guys both worked well together to get our food out fast. Drink orders were taken immediately, then an amuse bouche of 4 small crab meat phyllo's were brought over. They rocked.

We ordered shrimp tempura as an appetizer, it came with 2 long shrimp among lots of tempura veggies. Then for entrees we got a bunch of sushi a la carte and a sushi pizza that was highly recommended.

I wasn't sure what to expect for the sushi pizza, I actually pictured a pizza with sushi, but what arrived were about 8 strips of sushi, on top of a tempura base, topped with peppers and Asian sauce. It was amazing. Highly recommended!

The a ala carte sushi was excellent. They were out of toro but the I especially liked the yellow tail. Also, the amount of rice they use is very light. They don't use huge amounts of rice, so you can really taste the freshness of the sushi.

Prices were very reasonable. The total before tip with drinks was only $66. Yes!

During the meal, a jazz singer sang, while a band played with piano, cello and sax. It was awesome. I believe they do live music Fridays and Saturdays, starting at 8pm.

The restaurant was very clean, even the bathroom was impeccable.

I am so happy we found this place. We will certainly be back!

If you go..try the sushi pizza. Your in for a treat!

They deliver now!

Can't beat a peking duck delivered to your door with all traditional accompaniments. The sushi is as good as any of the best sushi in the city. The portions are HUGE, the appetizer hamachi collar was the biggest i've ever seen.

This is an amazing hidden gem!!
Parking was a bit of a problem. We went around the block 3 times and then found a place on the street in front . So even though we couldn't find a spot right away we did get a great one
The food was 5 stars!! The service 5 stars and the music was old school but  great background music.
We will return.
Thanks

I loveee this place, and it's so convenient if you live in Malden.

First off, best food for a fancy dinner/get-together. The portions are just right and the price is plenty fair considering how tasty it all it. The sushi is probably the best you can find in all of Malden, and competes against the big wigs in all of Boston in my opinion as well. The drink list is pretty wonderful and extensive as well, with a fully loaded bar. Also I'd recommend coming on a Thursday-Saturday night because there's live music/jazz and the place feels very lively and welcoming.

*Fun fact:
The owner is so incredibly nice. Sometimes, if you go in for late night drinks, Enrique of Exchange St. Bistro will be there since the two are close friends and they might offer you some free food if you make acquaintances with them! haha. That happened to me once, and it was one of the best nights ever and secured my faithfulness to both restaurants :)

I've been to many fusion restaurants and All Seasons is one of my favorite ones. I was invited to a birthday party there and the out come was great. They sat us at the back of the restaurant where we had our privacy. The set up was beautiful.... enormous black table, comfy chairs, and stylish decorations.

The food was impressive. A few friends and I decided to grab a variety of appetizers instead of entrees and we were very happy. The tuna tartar was refreshing. I also enjoyed the lo mein.

We decided to stay at the bar after we closed our tab. It wasn't cheap but it was worth it. The drinks we grabbed afterward were great as well. I love how the bar tender improvise new drinks when i requested for something light sweet and with lychee.

I've been to All Seasons on several occasions, every time I was pretty satisfy with their service. I really enjoy the atmosphere and the staff. Its also appropriate for casual and special events.

(Like Adderall, Codeine, and Lunesta,) All Seasons May Be Habit Forming.

The first time I ate here was in September '08 and it has quickly become my favorite restaurant (life changing).  I knew sushi had the potential to be good, but I didn't think it could be this good (developing a dependency).

If you're afraid of raw fish (stop being a jerk) just ask your server for suggestions.  The specials menu is always delicious (so try everything).  If you're planning on eating there anytime soon (and you should) order the following: torched salmon maki, caterpillar roll, dragon roll, and the spicy tuna/salmon sashimi appetizer.  (Like really, write it down.)

Beyond sushi, they have a large variety of Asian inspired food (but the sushi/sashimi is right).  Their bar is extensive (stacked).  The staff is knowledgeable and professional (so relax).

I'm no doctor, but I highly suggest the drug that is All Seasons Table (yo).

Since my prior review, I've eaten here at least 6 more times, and it just gets better.

Folks, look at the other reviews. They're no joke. This is the best Asian/sushi restaurant in the suburbs and possibly even the state.

As of last night they have a new appetizer item on the "specials" menu that you ABSOLUTELY have to try.
The "Crispy Ribs".

Upon the very first bite, my friend Al and I looked at each other with a look of "You've got to be kidding me."

They're unreal, and so is everything else here.

Also make sure to have the "Chef's special Seafood Salad" from that same menu, and try some of their Blue Point Oysters.

I'm drooling about it as I type this...

You know a Chinese restaurant is good when your first generation Chinese parents tell you (in Chinese of course), "We are having family dinner at All-Season's Table." and you're thinking in your head, "Really? There's a place that's NOT in Chinatown that my parents are CHOOSING to go to?"

It's a pretty well-rounded menu due to their Asian-fusion style.  It ranges from your stereotypical General Gau's, to your kind of authentic peking duck to a pretty decent selection of sushi.  The sushi here is pretty good, my favorite being the spicy tuna roll or the Volcano roll.  For the spicy tuna roll, every piece has a little crunch to it because they mix in some tempura flakes, which is a very nice little touch.  The Volcano roll is an eel and avocado roll that's topped with crabmeat, spicy mayo and tobiko.  Whenever I'm in a group, I demand we get this roll because the mixture of sweet (the eel sauce) and spicy is perfect.  I'm also a fan of their house fried rice which tastes like the fried rice you'd get in a styrofoam container from that sketchy hole in the wall in Chinatown, which we all know is soooo good (at least some of us do...).

I've been told that their martinis are good, but I don't know from experience.  I'm more of a fan of the Mai-Tai or the Suffering Bastard.  Ok, maybe not the Suffering Bastard.  Also, thankfully they serve the good beer from the motherland..... Tsingtao.

I've always loved the modern look on the inside because it gives it a classy feel, which is needed in Malden.  Though the nights of live jazz are a nice touch, sometimes it gets loud in there.  A problem with being situated in Malden Square is that you'll get some tough guys or rowdy teenagers coming in, which might disrupt your dining experience.

Whenever my friends have come into town to visit, I've always taken them here and I have heard nothing but compliments.  This restaurant is definitely recommended.

As everyone else has already said, you would never guess a restaurant like this was in Malden.  It's very chic, hip, cool, whatever.  The atmosphere is just great.

So my fiance and I went here when we first were looking at apartments in Malden and were very impressed.  We just went back 2 nights ago and it's still pretty impressive.

I got the General Gao chicken (I know, I know... lame) and it was very tasty.  It isn't the best I've had but still very good.  She had a couple of different types of sushi and, while also very tasty, wished they were a bit larger.

The waiter we had was also a little awkward... he spoke very softly so you could barely hear him, and just kept rambling.  He was nice enough though.  I would imagine that on a busier night than a Tuesday at 6PM the restaurant would have their "A-game" waiters on duty.

The other thing was that they charge $1.50 for spicy mayo.  Really?  We've never been charged for it anywhere else, but OK.

The place is a bit expensive for the area (ended up being around $30 for the two of us, without tip or drinks) but worth it for the quality of food.

Since moving to Malden a year ago, I've struggled to find a reliable sushi restaurant nearby.  Who knew that nestled in among the Malden Center Thrift Store, Super 99 Cent Century and Dollar Discount (not to mention Art-Carl Jewelry & Loan and Gold & Diamonds Etc), under a simple sign that says "All Seasons Table" would be the answer to my sushi woes???

Walk past the largest gathering of pawn shops outside Las Vegas and into All Seasons Table, and you're instantly transported into a chic, serene sushi bar you'd expect to find in the South End, SoHo or the heart of San Francisco.

Toto, I don't think we're in Malden anymore!

We settled at the sushi bar and I had trouble keeping my eyes off the expansive liquor selection behind the bar.  I didn't get a good look at the bar menu, but I think I saw a healthy selection of single malts behind the bar - that always makes me happy.

The diverse menu boasts a Pan-Asian theme, giving non-sushi eaters (or in my case, non-Chinese eaters) plenty of options.

Service was personable and attentive, and we quickly placed our order and were soon enjoying a round of miso soup.  Then the sushi started rolling out, and Lord, it was glorious!

Presentation was solid, on par with what I'd expect.

The Chirashi Donburi - Chef's choice sashimi over rice - seemed pricy at $25, but was worth every penny.  Every piece of fish was wonderfully fresh, and the large fish roe, which I might normally pass up, was too good to let go.

I raided the specials menu and fell in love with the Sushi Pizza.  Served on layered seaweed, it was the most successful (and best tasting) presentation of the concept I've ever seen (New Ginza has a tasty Sushi Pizza, but it's impossibly messy).  The scallop maki (also from the specials menu) was topped with the freshest crab meat I've ever encountered on a sushi roll.  We rounded the night out with the Alligator Maki, which was pretty darn tasty.

I have to admit, I CAN'T WAIT to go back to AST.  The promise of live jazz on the weekend could turn me into a hard core regular.

trust me when i say i'm a sushi snob, but i still have a range.

even though i knew this place is owned by a chinese owner, meaning the sushi is unlikely to be made authentically by japanese, but truth be told, their rolls weren't sloppy.  VERY average at best, but not sloppy.  loved their lychee-politan, though.  service-wise, the waitress was apparently an "FOB" (sorry, but it's true. i was once one myself too).  which is fine, coz she tried really hard.

the second time we went, i felt that the service had declined slightly. the other FOB staffer had no clue whatsoever, from menu to service standard to even know what the hell he's doing. he was polite and all, but he was clueless. more than one time, he came to our table trying to make conversation/ask questions, things like "do you live around here?"....  what?  ok i understand you're curious and you may want to know what the new life is like, but, um, we're eating here, and we don't know you.  hello?  please go do your job and get our food on our table.

menu does stretch from japanese to SE asian cuisines (they even have american-chinese take-out-like dishes!!), but then i don't know if there is one thing they're really good at.  the roti isn't the stretchy, soft kind you get at Penang (c-town); it seemed to be the frozen package ones anyone can get from a supermarket.  the green mango (or was it papaya) salad was ok, if too spicy.  the sushi/sashimi, while borderline "fresh", was obviously not professionally prepared.  and by that i mean it was just a slab of fish (frozen or what not) someone slices to pieces, which anyone (i.e ME) can do it from home.

so, the food, while not horribly bad, was very, very average, which completely does not justify the cost.  so unless i'm in desperate need for a sushi fix and don't want to travel too far, i can't find a reason to visit again.

to end on a good note, their decor is indeed pretty cool--it's simple and elegant.  heard that boss's girlfriend is an interior designer, so there.  and as of last time i went, they have live jazz on thurs-sat (or something like that), but i've never been there for that.  i can imagine it's a nice place to have a cocktail and enjoy the music--but then, this is not a lounge.  so there, another indication of someone trying to be everything and ends up being nothing.

Recently I met a friend here for a girl date. She loves this place and this day it was her second visit due to her building being evacuated.

I can see why she loves it! The wait for a table was a bit long, but it WAS a Friday night. The service was great, super friendly and attentive.

We both had speciality drinks from the decent martini menu. Both were served with lychee fruit, which was a nice touch.

We came for sushi and BOY did we have some. All of it was delicious and fresh.  We really liked the True Love and Dragon Maki best.

I will definitely be returning here the next time I have dinner in the area (and a few extra bucks to spend)

A favorite. Yet another surprise in Malden. Chilled, modern atmosphere, great jazz on the weekends, and fabulous sushi outside of Boston. The lobster maki was simply delicious and along with everything else was presented beautifully.  Great wine and cocktail selection, attentive and pleasant service, and socially-friendly drinks bar merged with sushi bar.  This is one we frequent often and look forward to each time.

I am so happy we finally dragged our butts down to this place.  Yummmmmm!  We liked it so much the first time, we went back 2 weeks later.

Food:  Very good.  The Carribbean seaweed salad is stellar.  The Peking duck was excellent.  The typical Chinese dishes (kung pao etc) are all fine.  I recommend ordering more from the specialties and pan-Asian areas of the menu though, because they pull it off.  We haven't tried sushi yet, but this couple at the next table ate a whole bunch and they were raving about it.

Service:  Very good.  Friendly, prompt, helpful.

Atmosphere:  Good.  For Malden, very good.  Way more cosmopolitan than anything in the Stoneham/Melrose area where we live.  The bar atmosphere looks lively.  They have live jazz on weekends.

Tonight was the first time I have been to All Seasons after reading so many positive reviews here. Myself and two friends went for an early dinner around 5pm.  The place was preety empty this early so we were seating right away.  My friends both had martinis, one lycee and I'm not sure what the other was but they loved them.  The food was great, we started with veggie tempura which was crisp, light, not greasy. I had the pineapple fried rice, my friends had kung pao tofu and Mongolian curry tofu? I beleave. We all loved our food and they had no problem leaving the shrimp out of mine.  The bathroom was spotless and smelled nice plus they have an automatic trash bin the opens by motion detector which is nice.  My only complaint would be our drink order was a litttle slow coming out but other than that all was well, plus I found out they deliver.   Parking can be a pain, I recommend parking at Stop and shop just outside the square and walking over.

If I could live here forever and make a little fort out of one of their booths, you *know* I would!  All Seasons Table took me by surprise.

As other reviewers have pointed out, the surrounding neighborhood seems slightly dodgy, but man.. the sushi!  The ambiance!  It was a very memorable dining experience.

I've had sushi in many large cities and am quite picky about it.  Their rolls were not only beautifully presented, they were perfect right down to the texture.

Many restaurants that serve sushi will use a mix of sriracha hot sauce and a few other things to add a little kick to a roll--a mixture that often overpowers the roll itself.  Not All Seasons!  They do their spicy mustard up right.  It tasted homemade and provided the perfect balance of flavor and "oomph" to the rolls.

Service was speedy and courteous.  They were very eager to please, but not overbearingly so.  My husband and I were able to enjoy a relaxed meal and not have to worry about the servers popping by too often to check on us.

We'll be back.  Oh yes.. we'lll be back.  ;-)

I am not usually a fan of Chinese food, but I really enjoyed All Seasons Table. Went here on a recent Saturday night, and it was quite packed when we got there. There was also a nice jazz band for entertainment.

We started with two apps: edamame and crab rangoon. I LOVE Crab Rangoon and I consider myself a bit of an aficiando when it comes to rating it. It was one of the best Rangoons I've had in Boston (though nothing compares to Chef Chow's).  It comes with a nice pinapple-y dipping sauce.  The portion is certainly generous to share for the three of us.  The edamame was also salted perfectly and delicious.

There are a ton of other options on the apps menu, as well as soups and salads.

For the main event, I had the ginger and green bean chicken stir fry. Really good, even on day 2! It is a large portion and everything is cooked well.  My friends had the pinapple shrimp with walnuts (it is a fried dish, FYI) and the pinapple fried rice which is served in a hollow pinapple hull. Presentations are very cool at this restaurant.

My friend had a pear-tini and it was quite good.  Service was good, but they did forget my hot and sour soup.  That's why it didn't get 5 stars.

I want to try the sushi next time, it looked YUMMY!

For 3 of us, it came to about $20 a person. Not bad, cause you do get two meals out of it.

I'm so glad to live in Malden and have such a great restaurant within walking distance.  I particularly like this place for lunch and have never had a bad meal here.

This place is a gem in otherwise unspectacular Malden Center. All Season's Table gets almost everything right; the ambiance is great, the jazz on weekend nights is superb, the drinks are good, and the food is fantastic.  I've never ordered wrong here.  Some of my favorites are: the black cod appetizer, pad thai (extra spicy!), spicy tuna maki, grilled salmon with chili basil sauce, and green tea ice cream.  I can't think of a single Pan Asian bistro in all of Boston that offers as much variety and great quality.

There is one funny story about this place:  for a while last year they had a sign in the window advertising delivery.  A few days after I saw the sign, I called up to order delivery, only to find that they didn't actually have a delivery driver yet.   A few weeks later I called again...still no driver.  I guess they got a little excited about the idea of delivery and neglected to hire the most important person-- the delivery person.  So...now they don't have delivery, which is fine, because this place is always worth the trip.

The Blockbuster in Malden was the only one left in this post-apocalyptic world that had an Xbox 360 bundle pack for myself and ma' boo, so we made the journey out here.  I needed to get my Viva Pinata swerve 'awn!

Craving some Azn foodstuffs we headed over to All Seasons.  Afterall, "People on yelp love us."

Such a strange area, a car with automatic locks is necessary, the restaurant is located next to a store that sells DVDS, high heels, and mangoes.

I had heard this place would be better than PF Changs, and since there was no statue outside of a horse with granite testicles larger than my skull, I began mentally docking stars.

The interior made up for my dismay, very chic (taj mahal by Malden standards) and the seating area spanned many a mile into the back, with an elongated bar along the right wall, orchids, and two plasmas featuring America's Funniest Home Videos(specifically the one where a rabbit beasts a cobra) which flipped to the Sox later on.  I didn't even get to see the babies eating lemons montage :'(

Seated in a cushy booth whose padding extended unnecessarily along the wall..to buffer in case I pass out on accident?

An anime character by the name of Willy, which I'm sure is his real name, hustled over to take our drink orders.

"Water is fine for now, I need just a minute."

A second later, another gentlemen came over to shuffle some glasses around and asked for our drink order..

Just.a.minute.

Before I could open my menu, Willy was back over with his toothy grin..

"What would you like to drink?"

-cries-  "im.not.ready.yet."  cue gun to my skull.

A strawberry colada was decided a few minutes later, while Damesies got the "MAN" Mai Tai.

The menu was packed with selections...the usual flap of nigiri and maki with a whole slew of specials that looked awesome.  Lots of gloppy sushi concoctions with fried things, saucy things, and a lot of creativity.  A sucker for pan-fried noodles, I went for an order that came with shrimp, chicken, and beef.  Also, a mandatory sampling of steamed shumai and miso soup.

My colada was STRONG! I was knocked on my arse!  I was tipsy-doodle after the first sip.  I could smell the alcohol from D's drink wafting across the table.

The crowd in the restaurant was discordant with the atmosphere.  A group of obese teenagers lapping plates of chicken fingers and rangoon off their paws..that is almost so unappetizing that..we should get an order of rangoon too!!! :D

And now on to the bests:
-the miso soup was very hearty and brothy. Yes.
-the steamed shumai was agreeably the best we have both ever had. Yes.
-so was the rangoon.  Made with fresh crab and the insides were all gloppy jaloppy that this shi wasn't reheated. Yes.
-Andd my pan fried noodles were the perfect blend of crunchy with enough sauce to soak up the rest of the dish and the meat was well prepared. Not bland as some pan-fried dishes tend to be. YES.

Somewhere in the middle of our meal, a touristy couple who was slackjawed and loud decided to emit a smell that loomed over D's side of the booth for a good 15 minutes.

Baby lulz all around.

Oh and when we got the check, it said Strawberry Colada(NA).

NON-ALCOHOLIC?

Oh.  -blush-  about all those wasted comments I made before..

I don't know whether I should be flattered that I look waayyy under 21, or too much of a natural wastecase to have alchie in my drank.

2 stars? Go ahead, call me a wet blanket, i don't care.

Growing up in Everett, I am familiar with the run-down ambiance of middle class America. So imagine my surprise when I walk into this modern, hip restaurant with sensible decor and great lighting. My expectations were high when I sat down. Yet were dashed with extreme prejudice at the end of the meal.

I Love Sushi. I mean, I am IN LOVE with sushi. It will be served at my wedding and my funeral, and any other celebration in between. However, the sushi from this place was average, AT BEST. There are so many better places with better sushi (Sake, Sushi Corner, etc.). My friend's General Gao's chicken tasted exactly like the chicken you eat at the food court in the mall. EXACTLY like it, at twice the price. No.

1 star for the great atmosphere
1 star for our extremely friendly waiter
and thats it.

I've only eaten here once.  It's a really nice place, especially compared to the Malden standards, and I'm glad to see something nice pop up in the square.

I'm sure the food is good here, but I didn't have the most pleasant experience when I came here.  I have the extreme lowest tolerance for spicy food.  The least bit of spice, and I'll sweat and heat up.  I can barely tolerate pepperoni sometimes.  Well, I wanted to try their Pad Thai, and I asked the waiter if it was spicy, and he said it wasn't, or that they'd leave it out.  Did they?  No.  It was spicy and I was not a happy camper.

I started coming to All Season's Table around the time when it first opened.
It was shocking to walk into such a beautiful tranquil place, especially after knowing what the venue looked like prior to the restaurant opening.

As beautiful as the decor is, the food is so much better. I would agree with Wayne D who reviewed as well, that the Spicy Tuna Appetizer is ultra amazing......the tempura flakes create such a nice balance with the texture of the tuna. I would and could eat that every day and not ever get sick of it.
I always order the Crazy Summer Roll as well. I highly recommend the steamed shumai and the Unagi.
I have never had anything less than a perfect meal here.

The bar is gorgeous and flowing with some very decent martini's,and imported beers and wine. I'm not a huge sake fan, but I hear from my friends that it's always been really delicious as well.

I love to sit at the bar when possible.......or the sushi bar.

Did I mention the live jazz ?  One of the very cool things about the restaurant is that there are large flat screen televisions by the bar area and a sporting event is always on. It's on mute though, so you can hear the music and full band. This seems to keep everyone happy.

This place is very well staffed, and everyone is so accommodating.
Please tip well for good service, especially the bartenders; They work a ton of hours and are always very gracious.

Enjoy

If there is one thing that I truly do enjoy it's dining out for sushi. I love trying new places, however, much like most things I enjoy, I tend to keep going back to my favorites. Last week I branched out to Malden Center and dove into All Seasons Table and I think my life may have changed.

Le's talk for a minute about their Spicy Tuna Appetizer. It basically is a giant ball of spicy tuna topped off with a layer of avocado slices. underneath the avocade is a delicate layer of tempura flakes. For anyone who like's spicy tuna you have got to get yourself one of these.

Even thier spicy tuna roll was amazing with scallions and sesame seeds pressed along the outside. The sushi pieces of salmon, hamachi, and tuna that I ordered were literally bite-sized, which is great. over-sized sushi pieces that you find in some places may be appealing to the eye but not to the mouth.

even if you don't feel like sushi you can order from their asian-fusion menu. I haven't tried any of these items yet but they all look good and healthy when they come out.

This place was such a pleasant surprise. My boyfriend took me based on its reviews on yelp and boy was it accurate!! I wasn't expecting this place to be in Malden. It's a bit out of the way, but totally worth the trek.

The cocktails are delicious (get the banana daquiri! Yum!), the food was amazing (the best crab rangoons I have EVER had!!), the atmosphere was perfect (live jazz is the best addition to any night) and the service was great.

I would definitely go here again. Highly recommended!

It's one of the worst eating experiences I've had in a long time from beginning to end.  I was skeptical when my friend suggested that we came here for dinner because I heard the food was overpriced and they served very small portions.  She told me it may be pricey, but the portions are decent -- I was dumb enough to have fell for it!

It was a Saturday night and it was packed, we had a party of three and so we sat waiting for a table.  10 minutes go by and these couples came in.. they also sat down and waited.  10 minutes go by again and THEY got a table before us.  So we went up to the hostess and told her about it, in which she apologized and led us to a table immediately -- what the heck?  If we didn't ask her, we would've waited all night.

The seats were uncomfortable, there weren't much space either.  We ordered soda.. when it came, we noticed that there wasn't any bubbles rising to the surface, so we took a sip of it... and it was not carbonated at all nor was it sweet, so the waitress replaced it.  The replacement soda was STILL uncarbonated AND unsweet -- we cancelled the soda all together and the waitress rolled her eyes at us.

We had a hard time ordering from the "fancy-worded-typical-Chinese-food" menu, but we ended up getting the Roti Canai appetizer and then 3 main dishes -- all of which were overpriced.  ALL of the food were served in VERY VERY VERY SMALL PORTIONS yet it was OVERPRICED like you couldn't imagine.  There is NOTHING special about the food either, it's regular Chinese food that you can find anywhere, except made to sound fancier on the menu.

The only thing that this place has is ambiance (live jazz) and decent decor, so unless you want to spend a fortune on very minimal portions of fancied-up-named-Chinese-foods to feel like you're a class above all others, do not go to this place.  You will not get your moneys worth.

P.S. The three of us ended up heading to Dockside Restaurant DIRECTLY after dining at All Seasons for a burger and beer (for a total of $11) because we were still starving.  Never have I had back-to-back dinners like I did that night.

Most importantly, the drinks were strong and delicious.

The food I had was basic chinese, but that was of my own choosing.  My dinner companions all had original dishes and were pleased with the results.

The service, however, was sub-par.  I don't want to embarrass the woman by leaving her name, but she just wasn't very helpful.  When she was around, she was pleasant enough, but those visits were few and far between.  I was with a group of 8, but we were very low key.  We weren't demanding, but still did not receive everything we ordered in a timely fashion.  She flat out forgot one entree and it was served 15 minutes after everyone else.  Not acceptable.  Out drinks were empty for 10 minutes before we nicely asked the host to find our server for us.

All in all, I'd come here again, but according to other reviews on here, I might just sit at the bar...

Never judge a book by it's cover which is exactly what I did when I saw the All Seasons Table restaurant sign. Luckily, my friend Chere suggested that we go ahead and give it a try. I'm certainly lucky that we did.

I generally don't like going to restaurants that feature dishes from Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, etc. - you get the point, because I feel that you should pick one and stick to it. I was very surprised with All Seasons though because they really did have good quality sushi in a very modern minimalistic atmosphere.

We started off with the agedashi tofu and salmon carpachio. The salmon was great and full in flavor. The tofu squares were too big and needed to be cut into smaller pieces. It also needed more flavor and a crispier texture. The sashimi (fresh salmon and yellowtail) was surprisingly good all except for the tuna. The tuna was mushy and didn't have the usual freshness that I have always come to expect from sashimi. We accidentally ordered smoked salmon instead of the fresh salmon (our fault), and they made the switch for us without a problem. Props to the service!

Their mango mai tai is superb! If I wasn't on a diet I would have had at least five of them. They also have a good wine and saki selection, so if you are a big drinker like I am - check them out!

Prices are slightly above what I would expect to pay for Malden but also not as high as the Newbury prices. My one big problem though is that they really need to get a new sign! It just doesn't match the contemporary decor on the inside.

The first thing I thought when I stepped in was, "are we in the right town? This is Malden right?" I liked it so much the first time that I went back again  3 nights later.
The deco is simple and modern. On Friday nights (and perhaps Saturday's too) theres a Jazz band that plays in the corner. The Scorpian Bowls hit the spot and are nice and big. (I was expecting to see a couple goldfish swimming ariound inside the grapefruity goodness.)
Good Maki. Good food. The Crispy Duck special was fantastic! The bottle of Sake went down real nice. And both times we went, the service was phenomenal.
I now have slightly more respect for Malden.

This was truly a three-and-a-half job but my general disdain for restaurants with horribly generic names (All Seasons Table?  Weak.) swings the pendulum left.

In terms of ambiance, it's kind of an odd vibe.  The super-white walls are never a good choice but something about the space (whether the overall layout or the nearly wall-length bar) is very comfortable.  It's definitely an upgrade over what one would expect from the name (again) and the unappealing street-front facade.

The menu is a huge thumbs-down.  I'm instantly nervous when there are, seemingly, hundreds of choices.  Quantity comes at the sacrifice of quality, generally, as a chef is going to be lucky if he can remember each entree, let alone perfect it.  Furthermore, what's this Pan-Asian garbage?  Do the Far Eastern set have such a low opinion of the Western round-eyes?  Can we not tell the difference between Chinese, Thai, Korean, Polynesian, et al and let our preferences lead us to each respective establishment?

The waitress was just 'eh'.  Her command of the English language was just shy of serviceable (though notably better than my Mandarin) and she didn't have (or wouldn't offer) any insight on the menu items.  Still, she endured the general torture of waiting on Rune and looked reasonably attractive (for yellow, my least favorite flavor) while doing so.

That night's bartender wasn't the greatest.  When a man is willing to shrivel his scrotum and suffer two hours of mockery by his peers by ordering an espresso martini, that thing had better rock.  It didn't.  The expected fruity rum-based cocktail that followed, however, was delicious and appreciably-boozy.

The food was pretty solid.  Two of us shared a scallops appetizer while waiting for our (perennially-tardy) third.  Quite a generous portion.  I braved a poorly-described lobster stir fry for an entree and -- while it was not at all what I was expecting -- it was damn good (if requiring a great deal of labor).

I'm due for a return visit and -- while an unrepentant fan of instant judgment -- will see if I can find the other half of that fourth star.

decent.  The menu is "pan-asian" so you have a wide range from which to choose.  There is everything from fried to grilled to sushi...
Stear clear of the house red.......... I got a massive headache from my $4 glass of vino!  (should've known better) but the lettuce wraps were great!! The decor is not so fun, but the service was attentive... all in all not a bad place, just doesn't stand out.
Be prepared to have left overs, though... HUGE portions.

First I have to mention that I moved to Malden two years ago, and if anybody knows Malden, you know that that good restaurant options here are few. If you like pizza/sub/roast beef shops and Chinese take-out then Malden is the place for you... Anyway, This is the one restaurant in Malden that magically transports you to another place when you pass through the doors. Beautifully decorated, hip and modern. Nice bar with big screens on one side surrounded by fine dining and live jazz on the weekends. A true diamond in the rough. I hesitate to review it because it's already pretty popular and can get crowded, and it's our go-to place when friends come over to visit. We've tried everything from the pad thai, sushi and the other night I had the basil lamb with chile. Outstanding!

My husband and I didn't want to travel to China Town for some pan-asian cuisine so when I saw that it received an average of 4 stars I thought, what the hell?, let's try it!  I do live in Medford and Malden is not too far away (plus I wouldn't have to spend 3 hrs looking for parking).

I must say we were surprised...in the middle of scary Malden square sat a very nicely decorated restaurant.  We decided to stay even though we say a couple smoking crack at the corner.  We were greeted warmly and seated immediately.

The menu was ok, I would like to have seen more vegetarian dishes but we were pleasantly surprised to see a sushi menu.  We tried a maki roll and it was one of the best I've ever had (I've eaten a TON of sushi).  The seaweed salad was great, the noodles too, I got a veggie dish which was ok, plain but that's ok.  There was plenty to share.  The service was excellent but it wasn't busy.

My husband LOVED it and wants to go back.  I've been suggesting it to a few people who live close by.  Try it, spooky Malden square needs a place like this.
