O emmm Geeeee!!!
Disclaimer! Being from Miami I know nothing of diners, but since I've been living in New Jersey all I hear about is how New Jersey is THE place for diners.
I came to All Seasons, famished and looking for that comfort food fullness, I had no idea what I'd find!
I was seated promptly, which was surprising because the place was packed! Then Lauren came up to me and I knew I'd be alright, she was so attentive, friendly and ready to let me know what was good.
Diners are notorious for large menus, so I gave it a once over when something caught my eye. Home made moussaka? Now, for those of you that don't know what moussaka is, it's the Greek answer to lasagna. A layer of eggplant, ground beef, bechamel and potato make this a memorable and delicious dish when done right.
This was my concern, could they do the moussaka the same justice as my aunt in Greece? I asked Lauren, she assured me they did it right and I ordered it. Traditionally moussaka is not eaten piping hot so when my plate came I inspected it and waited for it to cool. From the first bite I knew this was truly home made and I was like a fat kid in a candy store. I must have looked like I was enjoying myself because a father daughter duo asked me what I was eating. I gladly told them and they vowed to order it the next time they were there.
I couldn't finish my dish, the food was just too much, then Lauren tells me there's dessert, could I eat another morsel? For rice pudding I did and it was worth it.
Once I stuffed myself like last Thanksgivings' turkey, I asked for my check and was surprised at the price. I left a large tip because I felt Lauren went above and beyond (also why her name is all over this review) and left a happy fat kid camper.
I know all diners may not be like this, but I could live off All Seasons, all the time!Listed in: Jersey Shore Diners are the…

This is a good local diner in the Monmouth area. I went here with a group of 6 people and it took 15 minutes or so to get seated. Fortunately our food didn't take too long to arrive. I had Belgium waffles topped with fresh strawberries. Yum! Just like most diners, portions are huge, so you can definitely share with some or take your food home.
The diner was clean and the staff was friendly. It was a great start to New Year's Day! -

Although I've only had one sandwich lunch at the All Seasons-- and that really wasn't a serious test of the kitchen's competence-- I like this place. The 'classic' diner attributes, from chrome excess through encyclopedic menu are all there. The waitstaff was quirky and personable. My sandwich was exactly as advertised, and as expected. The only problem I really have with the All Seasons is that there are so many stellar diners nearby.

Best Diner in the area? How much crack were you guys smoking before you reviewed or ate at this restaurant? I have tried ALL SEASONS twice for breakfast and dinner. Both sub-par to poor experiences. I tried the Chicken Soulvaki tonight and while the chicken was good, everything else sucked. Fried cucumbers with my soulvaki? What the hell is this? Lettuce actually smelled like diarrhea. Nothing was fresh. Quite gross.
For breakfast I had their waffle, but nothing spectacular. This place is extremely over-rated. Try Irv's deli for a better meal. I know ........ I know, I KNOW I have been to better diners than ALL SEASONS. -

After our not so lovely experience at Sawa, we still needed food! And All Seasons sure did a better job than Sawa at providing it. That being said, it's a very diner-y diner. Oddball waitresses, the usual menu.
I was a little ticked off that she didn't mention that my broiled seafood platter would take a while to make when I ordered it, only when we started looking around for our food, which was slow in coming. Apparently also the kitchen was not able to make everyone else's food until the seafood was ready. Confusing. Also, why does it take so long to broil shrimp and scallops? Every time I've cooked them, they're ready super quick!
If I am in the area, I might swing by again some time. Otherwise, not going out of my way! -

This is definitely one of the better diner's in the area. It's a little pricey, for a diner but I have yet to have a bad meal here. The place looks really nice too since it has recently been remodelled.
It is still a diner, however, which means that you should only order diner food. Breakfast, burgers, wraps or fries are generally all you should be ordering. The greek food here is pretty good too, since it's a greek-owned restaurant. Good milkshakes as well.
All in all very good diner food. -

I've eaten here three times - once for lunch and twice for breakfast.
I'm not impressed with the lunch and dinner offerings - but if you are into diner lunches and dinners, then this may be the place for you. The two times I've eaten breakfast here were good. The first time I sat by myself at a table, the second time I sat at the bar.
Both times produced the solid, traditional, high cholesterol breakfasts that American diners are famous for: Eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, real butter on toast, corned beef hash, pancakes, and so on. -

This place is wedged between much better diners, so its not worth the trip in my opinion. Blue swan is less then a mile South; if you are traveling North, the Americana in Shrewsbury and the Broadway Diner in Red bank, and to the East is the Raceway Diner. This place isnt awful, it just isn't up to the standards of a "Jersey Diner."

Best diner in the area, hands down, IMO. Huge portions and great specials (salad/soup/dessert plus an entree for $17 or less). They make better Italian food than some Italian restaurants. The sauce is homemade, quality of cooking is impressive, and the portions HUGE. Chicken or veal parm will last you two days, and remember, you get the salad/soup/dessert too. They also bake everything on-site too. The bread and pastries are very nice. Lastly, they make homemade Greek specials that are dee-lish. The Moussaka is incredible... it's silky, cheesy, and homey. Great for families. You might have to wait to be seated, but it's worth it.

I have been coming here for the last eight years. Recently the prices have gone through the roof while the quality of the food has gone down.
Ok for an expensive breakfast but avoid lunch Pand dinner here. -

Had not eaten here in a long time but great food last time I was here and this time was no disappointment!! I had the whole baby broiled flounder dinner. Started with Minestrone soup which was full of vegetables and no taters and was delish!!! The Flounder was awesome and really large and had brocolli and cheess and Mashed taters on the side. Came with a salad and desert as well. This place makes HUGE sandwiches. Caution, if you are not hungry dont eat here !!!!

I have a breakfast work meeting at the All Seasons's dinner every month for the last few years. The good: Good location close to Garden State parkway, route 18, Rt 35 and 36. The menu is extensive and more balanced than before. Portions are very large and prices are reasonable. Food is average. Absolutely nothing special. Service is ok.
