Review from Anne P.
Tried this U Pick Apple place based on a friend's recommendation. We liked it.
We spent $52 even before picking apples - two $10 adult admissions (1/2 peck bag and wagon ride) and two $16 child admissions (kids barn yard activities, 1/2 peck bag, and wagon ride). After paying that - I intended to get my kids' $16 worth!
Kids did the wagon ride, a little tractor pull ride, played on the slides, bouncy pillow... They had fun.
Apple picking was great as well. Kids loved it. Also bought some apple cider donuts to take home. YUMMY!!!!
All in all - decent place. -

We looked for an orchard that allowed you to pick your own honeycrisp apples. I am an honeycrisp only snob. Surprisingly there aren't a lot of orchards that allow you to self pick 'em. They have them stored in a cooler somewhere.
Once we saw that the farmers market was already carrying honecrisps, we were on the search for an orchard and All Seasons provided. We had to call the day before to make sure there were still apples on the trees. Honeycrisps have a very short picking season.
About 45 minutes from the city (without traffic), we drove out there on a cool and sunny Saturday morning in late September. It cost $13 a person to hand pick the honeycrisps. That entailed a wagon ride to the orchards and a half peck of apples, probably 10 lbs or so. At the farmer's market, they sell 5 apples for 5-6$. So we thought this was a pretty good deal. We passed some barren trees, but then snuck to the back and had an abundance of them. And you could sample as many as you liked. It was amazing and we really enjoyed ourselves. Since it was cool and on/ off sunny there were no bees zipping around.
By the time we got back to the main orchard, it was sooooo crowded and the wagons bringing people out were so full of people. We had shown up at the perfect time. We spent a bit of time in the gift shop, buying apple butter, caramel apple brownie mix, apple cider donuts and other apples.
Tip: Show up early -

I don't know what happened last year with the apples but I guess they've changed few things this year. If you just want to pick apples, this place isn't for you. BUT if you want to be entertained with corn mazes (with various quiz questions to help you on your way), apple cannons & pumpkin blasters, bouncy pillow, petting zoo, pedal karts AND pick apples to boot, then go here! There were so many kids who looked elated running around the barn area.
My husband and I had a blast spending the better half of our day. We arrived and purchased a combo package to do different activities as well as pick our own apples. I've been to other apple orchard as a kid and it was mostly just picking apples but after a few hours of that you'd get tired.
There were plenty of apples to pick (this week it was Gala apples) and you pick different apple variety depending on the week (the schedules are posted on their website).
We went home with dozen apple cider donuts and unprocessed honey! Oh yeah and two full bags of beautiful Gala apples. So Yummy~ -

Went today. We were totally excited. We had been there a few years ago before it became a tourist trap/ racket. I'll never go out there again! We were committed to spending almost $50 before walking in the door. At this point the 5 kids would have never let us leave. We had been in the car for over an hour. I would have spent the gas money on driving up to Michigan. Why not one star. They actually had a few apples to pick. Boo hiss to you guys for giving in.

Sweet god-dancing jesus, this is one of the most glaring representations of a "racket" I have ever seen. Do not take your loved ones here.
So for 3/4 of the people out there, the main reason to go to a goddamn apple orchard is to pick some goddamn apples. That's what the "U pick" sign says....for example, the one on the street directly in front of this den of snakes that passes for a business.
By the time you go through all the BS of getting out to the middle of this podunk, godforsaken wasteland, you're pretty committed, especially if you have a carload of kiddos. Hey look, there's a sign on the ticket window saying "No U pick". (oh and no sign of it on the website or anything like that). So apple picking is out kids, but hey maybe they'll give a discount since it's basically like Morton's running out of meat......
Tough luck kids, it's still $8 a person if you are over 3 years old, and it's so you can basically stand just behind two barns and have the right to pay yet more ludicrously high prices on faux-country-kitchen BS. Like that sorry-ass burger they peddled for almost $4 that looked like it came from my high school lunchroom. But hey, it's "Uncle Peckinpah's Mock Cooter Honey", so I guess it's real different from the stuff you get at Jewel. Except you can get apples at Jewel.
Look kids, there's a jumpy-thing, hillbilly rollercoaster (some tractor made to look like a train), and a variety of other tourist trap nonsense vomited up from the depths of hell. Oh hey those are 1 or 2 bucks each, so hope ya brought yer wallet pops.
This was a bait-and-switch. Tourist trap. Avoid at all costs.Comment from James H. of All Seasons Apple Orchard Pumpkin Patch - Corn Maze 4/27/2011

Fun for the kids. Expensive for the parents. Long drive just for apples and pumpkins.
Went here 10/15/11. $8.00 for entry for activities and the pumpkin patch. First activity is the apple and corn cob cannon - it is $2 extra for 3 shots. Second activity is the petting zoo, $1 per Dixie cup of feed for the goats and bunnies.
Next was the corn maze, this was included in the entry fee. The maze was very good, very big, and we had fun and very lost. There was a neat bouncy pillow, and a couple small slides. And a fun tractor ride.
Waited about 15 minutes to catch the tractor to the pumpkin patch. Was about a 5 minute ride. Nice big patch with lots of pumpkins and gords to pick from. Sticker shock when we got back - $30 for 2 pumpkins, ouch.
Finished up with some donuts in their snack shop. These were fresh made and delicious.
All in all, a great family time. Wallet is just a little (lot) lighter. -

Went to All Season's Apple Orchard Pumpkin Patch today, not overly impressed. It is pricey just to get into the place. We had a group of 4 adults and one toddler. We did not do the apple picking, only a few varieties were left and didn't think the little one would enjoy just picking apples.
There is a lot of stuff for little ones, the tube slide and inflated pillow. The petting zoo was not what I expected, they sold little cups of food but the guys working out there didn't seem to interested in actually selling it. The animals were sticking their heads through a wire fence, kinda weird. They had rabbits but not easy to pet something through wire. Pony rides were $2 but didn't have any safety harness for little ones on the wagon - not safe. The cow train was enjoyed by all in the group. There are two corn mazes, you pick which one you want, didn't take too long to go through but it was a bit muddy. Difficult with a stroller.
We went to the little store for pre-picked apples but some of the apples were soft and didn't look fresh at all, not good. We picked up some apple donuts, those were pretty good. They only had regular caramel apples, not sure if they are made on site but didn't special like other orchards have. Did get some fresh acorn and butternut squash, good price on those.
Probably will not visit here again since it is not super close to my house and there are better orchards around. -

Definitely not the place to go if you don't have kids and if you just want to pick apples. It's $19 for a 1/2 peck of honeycrisp apples, though I think that also included my $8 admission to the farm and a wristband the corn maze. You only get about 12 apples per 1/2 peck, so it's quite a pricey fruit by the time you leave.
Our group went there with a bunch of young families though, so the kids could enjoy. Mine was too young, but the 2.5 year old loved everything they had to offer. I left, probably spending around $50 (including lunch) and I only have about 25 apples to show for it. I might go back in the future, but it'll only be for the kids to enjoy.
Even after you pay for your apples and the entry fee, there are additional fees for most of the activities that kids will want to do.
$2 for pony wagon rides
$2 for 3 apples on their apple launching guns.
$1 for a dixie cup full of feed for the petting zoo
All in all, it was an enjoyable day, just not sure it was worth the cost. -

I just got home from this apple orchard and had so much fun! The line to get in was long, but it was split up into 3 windows and moved very quick. We paid to get in, we just wanted to apple pick so it was $13/person. We wanted Honey Crisp so it was a little bit more than regular price, $10/person to not get honey crisp apples.
After paying we walked out to the wagon to get to the orchard. There was a wagon waiting so we walked right on. The ride to the orchard was quick and once we got there the guy in charge, Jim, told us the rules and we were off. We started picking honey crisp, and they were good!! You are allowed to pick and eat apples while you're out there to make sure you like what you get. There were a lot of apples, tons of them actually. It was hard to pick what we wanted! We ended up getting 4 different apples, you can fit a lot into a 1/2 peck bag, I think I walked out with 15 apples in one bag. They are good sized too so it wasn't 15 tiny apples.
When we were done we had to wait about 5 minutes to get the tractor back to the main part but we sat down and enjoyed an apple while we waited.
When we got back the lady who was helping at the wagon place, Jill, helped us down and was so nice. She had a smile on her face each time we saw her. It was nice to see someone who really enjoyed her job. She also recommended that if we wanted donuts to get in line quick because they were going fast. So we headed to the Country Kitchen. The line was super long, but again it moved fast. The donuts were made fresh, a dozen was only $7.99.
We ended our day after getting the donuts, we had spent over 2 hours there! There was so much we didn't do, but next time we are going to plan a day of it. I can't wait to go back!! Thank you All Seasons, we had a beautiful time at your orchard!! -

All Seasons charges $8 admission for anyone over the age of 3, and that price does NOT include any apples. You have to pay $5 per bag for the apples. It does include various jumping things for kids, a small petting zoo, a corn maze and some other activities. If you are looking for such activities and dont mind the steep price, this might be the place for you. For our family, it was not what we were looking for. We just wanted a quck, simple apple-picking experience. After walking around for a couple of minutes we decided to ask for our money back and head to a smaller orchard (Homestead) where we picked a ton of apples for $13 (and they didnt even charge for the three our toddler picked). It was a much smaller mom & pop place, but much more of what we were looking for.
