Just got home from a concert at this church. It is truly a hidden gem! A 1892 Gothic Revival church designed by Ralph Adams Cram, it is delightful to sit and listen to the fabulous blending of the Men & Boys Choir voices whilst gazing at the soaring archictecture and brilliant stained-glass windows. even a secular heathen such as myself was transported.
full disclosure - I was christened an Episcopalian and raised to attend church on Sundays. the pomp and spectacle of a candle-lit and incense-laden service is somehow comforting to me.
I recommend attending performances here!
no need to kneel or pray, just enjoy the architecture and music.
