This is the second time I hired Jason. This time, he put lights in the ceiling of our living room. I'm a photographer and I display my work on walls of our living room. Jason customized the placement of the lights so as to best illuminate my work. Thank you, Jason. I could not ask for anything more.

No one ever called me back and it has been over a week. I guess, contrary to what their website says, there are either jobs that are too small or jobs they just dont want to do. I will obviously go with someone else who bothers to call me back.
Update: I got a call from the buisness today a couple hours after posting my review. He was much much more concerned about the one star review that he did not "deserve" versus apologizing for not calling me back or offering to start over. He mentioned the word deserve numerous times I and I felt a loss for the bygone times of customer service. I have never not recieve a message on my phone, and I did not recieve a message or a call from this company. I even scrolled back thru my missed calls. Nothing. Sometimes mistakes can be made and people forget to do things. I would have been fine if he had just admitted to that. That is human nature. But I felt the phone call I got today in response to my rating was very strange and it made me very uncomfortable.Comment from Jason A. of All Phase Electric 3/14/2012

Jason came to look at my jet tub and even taught me how to install retrofit LED recessed lighting. Although, he could not fix the jet tub, he did explain why and what I needed to do.
I should have asked him to put in the other recessed lights. He is a humble guy and very skillful.
Price is high, but you get what you pay for.
If you need an electrician, I would recommend him.
I'm going to ask him to come back and take a look at some of the wirings of my home. -

Jason has done several electrical projects at our home and we couldn't be happier with his work. He's always on time and prices are very reasonable. We would never consider anyone else for our electrical projects. I highly recommend Allphase to anyone needing a five star electrician.

We had Jason come by and check out our outdated electric panel.
He was one of three electricians to come through.
What I really appreciate is the down to earth solutions based quote.
He did not advise or scare us into unneccessary work.
He immediately took care of some live uninsulated wiring that was a huge fire hazard, at no charge!
He talked us out of most of what the other guys had told us, and listened carefully to what we were really trying to accomplish.
We don't even have a written quote yet and I know it will be fair and for only the work we actually need to do.

We bought a new hot tub and placed on a hill in our backyard. All we needed is the juice that heats up the water and turns on the heavenly jets. I contacted Jason before the tub was delivered based on the reviews below and he gave us a fair estimate.
he showed up on time and did an amazing job. He had to get into a very tight crawl space under the house in order to run the line and he got 2 helpers (like Jason, polite and professional) to dig a couple of long trenches to connect the house and deck.
This wasn't an easy task but Jason did it on time and left the yard cleaner than it was before he got there. I would highly recommend hiring him. -

I also had a bad electric problem in the house that we just bought. Someone who was not an electrician came in and messed with a lot of the wiring throughout the place.
Jason came in and fixed everything. He was on time, polite, and very professional. You can't go wrong using Allphase. Price was great also.
It's great having all of my switches and receptacles work again. -

Another excellent review for Jason. He provided a good quote (just slightly higher than one of the other quotes), but we went with him based on the great reviews. We were not disappointed. When he wired up some skylights our alarm started chirping - he gladly fixed it by wiring to another circuit. also installed a recessed power outlet behind our tv mounted on the wall and wired a switch to a pool pump. very professional and quality work on all. even fixed the drywall very nicely!

We found Jason based on the reviews we read on Yelp. Ditto all the comments made by other reviewers.
We had a problem with the electrics in one part of the house. When I rang and explained the problem, Jason advised us of a possible solution. However it didn't work which meant he had to come out to see what the issue was. We knew that being a holiday weekend we would need to pay extra but the price Jason quoted was very reasonable.
He came at the assigned time and rang about 20 minutes before he was due to arrive to let us know. He figured out the problem quickly and fixed the issue.
We would definitely use Jason again for any electrical work. If you're looking for an honest and reasonably priced electrician, give Jason/Allphase Electric a call!! -

Jason is awesome. We asked him to come check out some doorbell damage that was done by a 'handyman' we'd also found on yelp, and also to assist is dying bathroom fans. His pricing is more than fair, he made time for us and was pleasant, a Wonderful experience. The next time anyone breaks something, I'll call Jason at Allphase straight away.

A few years back I had a huge 85amp kiln wired in my garage.
Yesterday it shorted out and created black smoke marks all around the box. The electrian's card was pasted on the box, but I had second thoughts about the company so, thank God for Yelp!
Jason was able to come right out. He quickly surveyed the problem.
The original electrian had the wrong size connector. But it didn't stop there. He had put in 60 amp wiring, brought two wires into the same sub-box (apparently very wrong), used too small of a size box... the list went on.
Jason was able to rewire the entire setup and I reran my kiln 7 hours later. Jason is a great communicator, honest, reliable, fair price, and he IS the business.
Some large companies send out unqualified workers and do not inspect the work... I can't believe I almost burnt the house down. -

I recieved top notch service from Jason. It was an urgent call. The electricity went out suddenly. I checked the circuit box, switched the breakers, and still no electricity.
Jason came out the same day I called. He was very professional and also very kind. He clearly states up front that the call to just come out is 150.00 which will be applied to the repair. I found that reasonable.
He was very thoughtful and trouble shooted for about 30 min, when he discovered, the problem. The downstairs light switch had loose wires that caused the the entire house to shut down. While he was there he noticed the bathroom fan was making a horrible sound, he looked at it and has it silent within a matter of minutes.
I really appreciated his work ethic and honesty.

I just had Jason do some work for me, and he did a great job. As an initial matter, apparently, Comcast does not fish wires into your walls. So, I had Jason install a wall box with a cable jack in a bedroom and two large fluorescent lights in my garage. Both were done very well, and I am extremely impressed with how clean Jason left both areas. Straightforward, reasonable price, and quality clean workmanship. What more could you ask for?

Aside from being one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet, Jason is also one of the most honest ones as well. He spent time not only fixing the little electrical items mentioned on my inspection report, but even sat down and re-read the inspection report (while I was on a conference call) to ensure he didn't miss anything! Ironically enough, last week I realized one of my oldest friends has been using AllPhase Electric for years. (If you read my plumbing review, she's the same one who fixed my toilet!). Nevertheless, Jason is Grade A++. I would recommend him to anyone!

Electrical work is a funny thing. Something stops working, and you basically get to trace it from one end of the house to the other to track it down. Sometimes it is easy and fast, and sometimes it takes a ton of time. You don't know which it will be going in.
We had several outlets go out in a circuit. I have done a lot of electrical work, including wiring two houses, so I'm pretty competent. But after a couple hours of tracing the problem, I realized I needed someone with more experience to find it. I called Jason around 1:30 pm on a saturday afternoon, and received a call back a couple hours later; he was out with his daughter on the bike trail, and said he'd head home and come on over. He quoted me $150 to diagnose the problem, and if he couldn't diagnose it I wouldn't pay.
He showed up exactly when he said he would, and it took him over three hours to trace it to a short in an outlet box behind a bookshelf (which he helped me move). A bit of work needed to be done to fix it, but the total cost ended up being the $150 diagnosis fee. He cleaned up after himself, closed up all the outlets and switch boxes both of us had opened in diagnosing the problem, and tested every outlet.
And that's the funny thing about electrical work. Sometimes you show up and it's obvious, and the time investment is minimal. This time, he spent almost four hours in my home, crawled through the attic amongst the blown-in fiberglass, helped me move a bookshelf, and traced it down and fixed it.
If all contractors served customers like Jason, the world would be a way better place.
I enthusiastically recommend him. -

If there was an option to give Jason an extra star and bring him to 6 stars I would. Because he just helped my husband on another electric outlet problem we had. Jason remembered us from the last time and spent the time to trouble shoot our electrical problem over the phone. My hubby was able to resolve the problem with Jason's help and he didn't even charge us for it. OMG, what an amazing level of customer service, I just had to Yelp about it.

The electricity in my parents' detached garage went out suddenly and my dad tried to find the problem but couldn't...and I will not mess with any electrical panels so I looked around for an electrician.
I searched Yelp for an electrician in Concord and found Allphase Electric. Since my mom uses the garage for her side job, I needed someone to come out asap! Jason said he was available later in the day and came out when he said he would and even gave me a courtesy call just before coming over. He came and fixed the problem right away (looks like the main circuit breaker just tripped...oops..). He spent the time to make sure that that was the only problem and checked our panels to let me know their conditions. He said the panels are old but are still in good shape, so there's no need to change them. I appreciate his honesty because he didn't try to even sell me any additional work.
Since this was a simple problem, Jason felt bad about charging me $150 minimum fee (which I was okay with paying since he did advise me of it in the first place) so instead he charged me less and advised me that he will not charge me the next time I have to call him to come out.
A+++++++ customer service! Definitely call Jason up for any electrical needs! -

I agree with the three previous reviews about Jason. If you need a good & reliable electrician, he's the one. He will not try to cut corners just so he's out the door sooner than he's supposed to be. He's thorough and he will explain to you what needs to be done. I'm glad I found him because I have more electrical projects for him in the near future.

Did work to fix an electrical problem related to our pool equipment. Exactly how a service should be run. Straightforward, honest, fair pricing, on time, etc. About the only proper home service experience I've ever had. I would highly recommend.

I do most of my electrical work myself. When I screw it up, or if the job is too big, I call Allphase. I've used them twice in the 2 years I've lived in Orinda and they were fantastic both times. I Strongly recommend them.

Jason has done all the electrical upgrades throughout our previous house as well as garage and front yard. He showed up on time, spent hours in the crawl space and attic. His pricing is fair and he doesn't leave until the job is completed. He is also polite and easy to deal with.
We were excited to contact Jason again after moving to our new house and he did NOT disappoint. As usual he returned our call and scheduled for a time that would be convenient for all of us. He did a lot of work especially involving upgrades for some items.
Did you know that he's also very sharp with entertainment systems? He sets up your TV, stereo, speakers, audio etc. if you ask.
Sometimes I just call him just to ask a simple quick question. He calls me back, guides me through on the phone and does not ask anything in return. This is tough to beat for customer service.
We feel good to have a reliable electrician like Jason. He's a very talented professional with good attitude. -

I emailed Jason Friday afternoon, and heard from him Saturday morning. He came right over, and was very helpful. Our problem turned out not to be due to an electrical issue, so he charged me only half of his fee, which I thought was quite reasonable. We would definitely call him again.

Jason was on time, friendly, and did the work quickly and professionally. The work was done so fast that he offered to replace the two remaining ungrounded outlets in my house with grounded outlets for free. I'll definitely be calling him again if I ever need more electrical work done.
