Get these guys if you have a moving that's tough. I went with another moving company for a local move - well enough until they couldn't get our two sofas inside the house. Their solution was to shrug their shoulders and leave them in the garage, telling me I needed a crane to get the sofas to our second floor living room.
Calling around the next day - I found All Knight Moving on Yelp and after reading the reviews thought I'd give them a try. They insisted not only that it would not require a crane, but that they could do it for me that afternoon. Sure enough - three very cool guys stopped in after finishing another job out in Chino and were able to lift/pull in both sofas over the balcony without any injuries or damage. They busted their a** doing it - but it was done, simple and quick. Not to mention less costly than cranes.
Highly recommend this professional, well managed company. The lead mover was extremely polite, very careful to protect all my furniture as well as the property and could not have been better. He only asked that I give him a review on Yelp - which I was MORE than happy to do! -

We moved from Costa Mesa to Chino and hired All Knight Moving. I did a lot of research and got a lot of price quotes and All Knight moving was definitely one of the cheapest deals/quotes I received.
The movers arrived at 8:00am (we were given a time slot of 7:45am-8:45am via email) and were courteous and professional. They moved pretty quickly in wrapping up our belongings and moving down three flights of stairs to their truck. My husband and I took the little stuff like lamps, some clothes, bags, etc. and let them focus on the big items like furniture and heavy boxes.
Pros: professional and polite movers
Good pricing. We moved on a Monday so we were quoted $75/hour plus a flat fee of $59.99 for fuel. I like that they don't do the whole double drive time fee so there are no surprises.
They were on time.
Cons: These are more just my own personal gripes and not necessarily cons.
They didn't call ahead of time to confirm the appointment which is what the email said they would do. The email indicated that they would call 24 hours before to confirm the appointment but they didn't so I was unsure the whole time about my appointment (I never really spoke to anyone with a verbal confirmation. Everything had been done via emails back and forth).
They also charged us for 6.25 hours when it actually only totaled 5 1/2 hours. I didn't really understand their method of charging up.
The phone number you call seems to be the owner's direct cell phone so the few times I called, I felt a little out of place like I was bothering him. He told me to book the move via email but I personally prefer being able to speak to someone and get verbal confirmation. -

I recently moved from Orange County up to San Francisco due to my wife getting a new job. She went up ahead of me to start the new job, while I was left to take care of the moving. Very quickly I was overwhelmed and overworked, and knew I needed help. I called All Knight and talked to Al, he was very straight forward about what it would cost, and how long it would take. I though maybe he was being a bit optimistic when he quoted me how long it would take to pack and unpack the truck, but he was spot on. His guys packed up my moving truck really fast, and where very careful with my belongings. When the truck arrived in San Francisco, his guys actually showed up early, and worked really really hard.
I honestly have no idea what I would have done with out this service, and will absolutely use them again if I move back down south. -

Love these guys. My wife and I agreed that we had to get rid of our older 55" projection TV that took up half of the living room. The thing was massive and the worst part is was that it was on the 2nd floor of our condo. There was no way I was going to get that thing down myself so these guys came in and got it out in less than 10 minutes. Phenomenal. Will definitely use them when I move next.

I called over 20 moving companies and read every single review for all the different companies I called. Trust me, if I'm paying someone to handle my personal belongings, they better be good! The last thing I want is damaged goods and a bad experience. This was my first time hiring movers, and it was the most amazing decision I've ever made in my life.
I had a window of 12:45-3:15 for arrival time, and they were early! They got to my place at 12:30. Alex and Julio were wonderful, they moved my belongings extremely quickly! They were very careful with everything and wrapped all the furniture before moving them. Poor guys, I felt bad that they had to bring all my things up three flights of stairs. They were still in a good mood from beginning to end and made moving actually enjoyable. I never thought I would use the words moving and enjoyable in the same sentence. Lol!
Overall, Julio and Alex were amazing! They were very hardworking and fast! I would definitely recommend All Knight Moving to everyone! -

Overall very smooth and [pleasant] move. Both the movers were extremely nice and courteous, went above and beyond really. Even after 4 hours the guys did not complain once and had a great attitude to the very end. Only negative is they took like 45 minutes to go 8 miles, but can't really blame them the new place is hard to find even with directions.

Recently moved a short distance to a nearby town. They were very efficient, courteous and efficient. They did arrive later than original time scheduled due to preparation/issues with the truck, however they were very apologetic and moved quickly. They were able to successfully move a very challenging piece of furniture up a flight of stairs (An item that most movers would have not even tried, however after measuring the item and the stairs they were able to do it). Would definitely recommend this company and plan on using them again if we ever need to relocate.

When it comes to moving, I know a lot! I have moved 13 times in the past 10 years. Lets just say that I have lost many friends (just kidding) and sprained dozens of muscles because of it!
This time, I decided to save up my money and have professional movers do the moving for me. I found All Knight Moving through a friend of mine and was pleasently surprised to know it wasn't an arm and a leg to have professional movers do the work for you! Quite the opposite!
Not only did they arrive on time, they were super nice, and very efficient. They worked quickly, wisely, and didnt drop or damage any of my things. I will be using All Knight Moving from now on! -

I called AKM for a move I knew was going to be hard.I did this move a year earlier and it was really hard. We had lots of big chunky furniture and the last moving company showed up with 2 lazy guys who came with nothing but excuses and extra fees.
AK Movers came they had a nice big truck 3 hard working experienced guys that made me feel lazy. I say this because the house we were moving in to was more complicated. I had already accepted the fact that some of the furniture wasn't going to make it to the third floor. we have an insane stare case that is like a box spiral. I don't know how the guys even got this stuff up there. It was really heavy really big and they did it fast.
The Movers from AKM were way more professional than others that I have dealt with. They showed up like clockwork and worked smart and fast as a team. Moving is always going to be a pain but if you hire AKM you will be done 10x faster and for way less than other movers have charged. Thanks All Knight Moving I would highly recommend using this company. -

Very Fast!! They were careful with all my furniture- nothing broken!! Moved into a 2 story 3 bedroom it was all done in 2 hours! SHOCKED! They put everything right where I wanted it to go... I was very pleased.
The only problem- They were a little late showing up, and REEKED of POT! I know the smell...I was worried at first when I smelled so my pot oder.. but they surprised me by how good they got the job done! :) -

We paid for 3 movers and although 2 of them were fast and hard working, the 3rd guy was dragging his feet and talking on the phone and lolly gagging after each furniture move. They didn't wrap my furnitures properly and even "ran out" of material so we had to provide our towels to wrap our furniture corners. Nonetheless they ended up damaging my furnitures with huge dents and scratches.
Nonetheless we tipped the movers very generously but contacted Al, the guy in charge, to address the damages.
He wanted me to send him a photo of the damage, which we did. Then he came out with one of his movers to take a look inn person. After confirming, he assured us they would file a claim with their insurance people and get us compensation and also have someone come out and try to fix the dents on my furniture. Although the compensation he estimated wasn't even going to be enough for us to pay for even the tax on that piece of furniture, I appreciated the gesture.
That was 6 months ago!!! He won't return any correspondence nor won't follow up with his promise. I guess business is good for him since he doesn't care about bad advertising with former customers.
I posted about my horrible experience on my facebook page and it turns out there are a lot of other people who have had bad experiences with these guys. Some of them found missing valuable along with damaged goods. And the owner blew them off as well as soon as they were paid!
Don't use these guys if you want your furnitures moved without any damage and if you don't want your valuables missing.
I would never recommend them to anyone. Better yet, I will go out of my way to spread the word about this company and their bad practices. -

The guys showed up there on time. Please do keep in mind that the time starts pretty much when they arrive. So, explain quickly and get moving.
I'm taking off one star because we've asked that they took our sectional sofa down the stairs...I know it's a pain because I live on the third floor but we told them that it wouldn't fit. They crammed it in the elevator anyway and put a few scratches on the legs. Nothing major and can be touched up with a pen...but still.
If you're going to use Yelp coupon, they do ask that you purchase it 24hrs before the move. -

My move did not go smoothly, but they earned 4 stars anyway. Here's my story:
I was scheduled yesterday with an arrival window of 10:00am-11:30. At 11:30, Al called me to tell me his guys were behind schedule, delayed due to the rain, and expected to be another hour on the job in San Diego. He estimated they would be at my apartment in Tustin between 1:15 and 1:45, and would give me an update when they were on the road. He called me back around 1:45 to tell me they were just leaving the first job, but that he would bring over a man who would start prepping things. Al explained that in addition to the rain, the first job told him they were moving a studio apartment, when in reality it was a 2 bedroom place. The guy he dropped off was friendly and brought all of the boxes into a central area, and started wrapping and disassembling furniture. At 4 we got an update that it would be an additional hour and a half. The truck finally arrived at 5:45. Because the first guy got everything organized, the truck was loaded within 2 hours. They were done by about 9:30. I was really thankful for the head start of the first guy who was sent over. Otherwise it would have taken much longer.
The best part is that Al did not start the clock until the truck arrived. Obviously it was an inconvenience to have the delay and wasted time. However, the fact that Al didn't charge me for the guy who came earlier made me feel like he valued me as a customer, and wanted to make things right the best way he could. -

We hired All Knight Moving for our move on 8/27. Al had called us early in the morning to offer a deal on a 3rd guy, which we took - and later found out was a good thing we had. So that was nice.
The guys showed up on time, earlier than I even expected, which was great. They came right in and got straight to work. They worked really well together, were very strong, and most importantly FAST. They did a really great job getting our bigger pieces of furniture out of our 2nd story apartment with a 90 degree landing - better than the people who originally delivered the items upon purchase. I should also mention that it was 97 degrees inside and blazing hot outside as well.
They did a great job unloading quickly, but my husband and I helped unload some of the smaller boxes to help it go a little faster.
We did notice one of the legs of our dresser got beat up, and as it was a very expensive dresser and had told them it was the #1 item to protect, were disappointed. We mentioned it to them and they documented the issue on their phones and told Al about it right away. Al was supposed to call us back about what to do about it, but as of writing this we have yet to hear from him (2 weeks later). Upon unpacking we also encountered 1 broken dish, 1 broken glass, and 1 broken toothbrush holder.
In short: great moving guys, a couple items broken, still waiting to hear from Al.
For those of you trying to estimate how many hours it will take, we had: 3 hours loading, 30 mins travel, 1.5 hours unloading. The reason it took so long to load is because our old apartment was square in the middle of a complex that it literally took 2 minutes to walk to from any place the truck could park. At the new place the truck was about 10 feet from the door. I was hoping to have the whole thing done in 3-4 hours for cost's sake, but the 5 hours was still worth it to not break my back. -

I had moved my things up from San DIego in a storage unit. All Knight Movers did a good job.
Positives: Very accomodating with coordinating with the storage unit company. They worked very efficiently and took care not to damage things. They were very good about asking where each item should be placed.
Things to know: They did require a 3 hour minimum, but they worked so quickly to unload the truck that they finished in just over one hour. They also require that you pay cash.
Negatives: Two of the men wore tank tops. I understand moving is a labor intensive job, but my furniture had puddles of sweat all over. Maybe they should wear hats or bandanas so that it doesn't drip everywhere. I found one of them using my towels to wipe his sweat off his head and arms.
Very professional and good movers overall. -

Had an Amazing experience with All Knight Moving. They were extremely profession. I called the owner Al for a quote and it was right on the dot at the time it was done. I shopped around and felt the most comfortable with this company. They sounded honest and really carried through. The movers were very friendly nice, but most importantly fast! I had to move in the heavy rain and it did not even slow these guys down. I would definitely recommend to family and friends and only use this moving company.
The last company I used seem hire some shady characters that looked like convicts. These movers were professional and did not leave me worried about any personal items being stolen.

This is by far the BEST moving company I have ever dealt with!
The All Knight Moving crew were friendly, very professional and most importantly effective and efficient in taking care of a moving nightmare.
My wife and I purchased a new lithocast solid surface tub which weighs 524 pounds for our upstairs bathroom remodel. This was decided after we were assured by our remodeling company that moving the tub would be no problem at all. Well, shortly after delivery, the bathroom remodel company crew said that it would be impossible for them to move it into the upstairs bathroom and that we were out of luck and on our own to find a way.
I began my search for experienced heavy item movers including experienced piano movers, safe movers, pool table movers, standard moving companies and even a company that specializes in moving heavy machinery. A few of the companies flatly refused after seeing the staircase and the route that the tub would need to take. One company even suggested using a full sized crane and "fly the tub over the house, and through a window that would need to be removed"! I then spoke again with and decided to go with All Knight Moving. I spoke and discussed in depth the problem with Al, the owner of All Knight. He was very knowledgeable and spent some time actually thinking and planning the best course of action. Today, Al arrived with a crew of five who were all very pleasant and thoughtful about not damaging anything while moving this huge and heavy object. These guys were simply amazing. Working as a team, they easily moved the tub up entry steps and my staircase which has five steps up to a landing with a right turn and another eleven to the top. Followed by a few doorways and then to the actual bathroom. They then were able to maneuver and place the tub gently over a small drainpipe which could have easily been damaged. All of this was done with zero damage to my home and not a scratch on the tub itself. I am really grateful to Al and his team for solving this problem. They really are amazing. -

I hate moving - of all the annoying inefficient ways I could spend my time moving is definitely near the top of the list. I think I got kinda lucky when I stumbled upon All Knight.

This was my first time hiring movers and I was nervous after hearing many a horror story. I had a really great experience with All Knight movers. My movers were Sal and Wes (I think) and they were really professional and hardworking. They were able to move me 90 miles away in such a short amount of time. They almost beat me to my new location, which shows that they didn't stop along the way to dilly dally or try to rack up more time. The rates were fantastic compared to other companies. They charged me a fuel fee instead of double drive time which saved me a bunch since my move was far. All of my items arrived and were unloaded quickly. These guys didn't stop moving until they were finished!

This is my second move with Al. I used him a couple years ago when he was running a different company. They were on time and worked like horses. The guys were cool and didn't break anything....and there was some very breakable stuff. Al does good follow up too. Only one neutral comment: They missed two closets (clothing only) and a small backyard load. I noticed the closets and they handled that immediately. They yard I didn't catch until the next day, I had to handle that. These are minor issues and I would simply recommend you do a thorough walk through to prevent this type of oversight. Again, they were good guys, and I don't believe it was intentional. Rather, it's likely that they working so hard they just plain missed it. Also, they did a couple extras for me for no charge-so I'm really not complaining at all. I would use Al again, and would recommend to a friend. Thanks Al!

I looked for movers on craigslist and yelp and read the reviews for All Knight Movers on yelp. I then talked with Al on the phone and felt very comfortable. I'm glad I picked them. Al and his two man crew were very professional, courteous and Fast! We had a 3 brdm house we were moving from and had tons of boxes and misc stuff, odd sizes, art work, and boxes which were not packed well by our teenage daughters. They moved them with no probs. I would highly recommned Al and his company and I would suggest that you hire the 3 man crew as it went much faster.

Any moving adventure that starts out with the truck being more than 4 hours late would normally be a horror story but not this one.
My Window was 7:30-9:30am on the Friday after Thanksgiving. They called around 8:30 to let me know the guys were on the way, there had been some issues with their truck. Then they called about an hour later to tell me they weren't comfortable taking the truck to San Diego from Santa Ana so they were going to go back and get a different truck. The truck broke down on the way back to the yard (glad it wasn't full of my stuff!). They then had to go rent a truck from Penske to make my move.
I received another call (before they even got to my house) telling me that I was getting a discount on the hourly rate and my gas fee and a ton of apologies. Customer service goes a long way with me and the fact that I hadn't asked for any discount but they understood it was the right thing to do made me very happy. I expressed concern that due to the very late start, we could hit bad traffic into San Diego. They told me I wouldn't pay for any time the guys were stuck in traffic.
The guys arrived at 1pm with their 10 foot Penske Truck and proceeded to haul butt!! They got my entire 1 bedroom apartment into that little truck and nothing was damaged. They were fast, clean (at the beginning anyway!) and spoke English. I was a little concerned that the really cheap rate would mean I was going to have questionable movers. Sal and Wes were absolutely amazing! I was stunned at how fast they moved and how careful they were with my belongings. And Strong!!
They had the truck packed in just over 2 hours and got to San Diego in 90 minutes. I had a second pick up spot scheduled at my boyfriends house, 2 miles away from our new home. They ended up offloading my stuff then going back to his house.
They had the entire delivery completed by 7:30pm. 6 and a half hours including the drive down. And the whole time, Sal and Wes had the greatest attitudes, laughing and joking. I was very impressed that they had such great attitudes, especially after the morning they had trying to get to my place to even get started!!
I hope I never have to move again (I really hate the process!!) But I will absolutely use them again if I need to move.
Yes, they only take cash and it is weird that they don't give out an actual receipt but their service was so outstanding that I really didn't care!!

the specs-
from 2 bed 2 bath (2nd floor, no elevator) to 2 bed 1 bath (on 3rd floor, no elevator!)
we hired 3 movers and they were actually very fun and nice guys. mike, matt, and jason were crackin jokes and singing along with us as we bumped the radio extra loud at our old apartment! helped ease the pain of moving haha
we had hoped that they could get it done in 3, but it took them 4 hrs (completely reasonable considering the many flights of stairs and the amount of stuff we had!). in the last minutes leading up to the 4th hour, my roommate said "Ok guys, you got 15 mins left!" and they were SPRINTING up our stairs to help finish on time! they knew we were on a tight budget and we definitely appreciated that they did their absolute best to get the job done as quickly as possible.
overall we had a great experience with these movers! i researched for 2 weeks online and called more than 5 places... All Knight Movers had the best pricing and i'm very glad we went with them. -

All Knight Moving was my first phone call, when I learned I would be moving AGAIN........I was so 'stressed-out'!!! When I called, I was able to quickly reserve the EXACT date I needed for moving, and I was so relieved when I was given positive reassurance over the phone, that 'everything would be taken care of, and not to worry'. That was EXACTLY what I needed to hear!!! I wasn't prepared to move at all, and thank goodness that these guys were there to help. They packed EVERYTHING for me! They were very organized and quickly moved ALL of my household furniture, etc....into their moving truck, and into my new residence. These guys were so patient, and I was thrilled with the quality of customer service I received. I hired All Knight Moving, because they did such an AMAZING job of moving me last year........and they didn't disappoint me, when I hired them again this year.

Exceptional work...I called on Sunday and made an appt. They called prior to arriving on Tues to adjust times for traffic so as to meet the 3 hr timeframe. They finished in an incredible 2 1/2 hrs. They worked non stop. A couple of small scratches and a few wall bumps, but going up to the third floor, I'll take it,,,Highly recommend. I will use them on my next move and tell my buddies about em,,,,,

My GF asked me to find a mover so I Yelped, I'm glad I did. Found this one near Tustin, moving to Irvine on 12/15. Good service from Al, delivered the 2 guys and a truck for decent hourly rate plus gas. They were a little late from traffic though, but called. Minimum was 3 hours, took 3.5 hours. My GF supervised, while I helped Tyler and Joshua. They were hard-working & great to deal with and surprisingly fun to move with. We had two queen beds that needed to be taken apart, full size fridge that needed to be wrapped, tons of boxes and bags, large dresser, etc. they did a good job. They didn't provide boxes or many tools but we had it ready, except for the beds. They provided dolly, padding & wrapper(I think the boxes were additional, we got them at Uhaul). 2 bedroom and living room move, going from 3rd floor to 1st floor about 1/2 mile away(still a pain). No damage and saved some $ compared to other movers. Weird but no paper work, all verbal, but they were honest in their final bill. Read horror stories about movers taking hostage during the move. Nothing like that here. Simple and honest. I'm sure if you asked for paperwork, they'd provide one. Al followed up with an email before the move and a call after. Would highly recommend and would use again.
