My Costa Rica vacation last summer ended abruptly with a tragedy involving more broken teeth than I like to think about (and, what's worse, they were mine!). Thanks to Dr. James and his fantastic staff, my smile is back and life is good again!
Baldi Hot Springs in Costa Rica -- skip 'em! I came away with a nice dinner and a pleasant evening with my friends. Oh, and my 4 front upper teeth brutally shattered (from their water slide/death trap). An ambulance ride and a hurried flight home later, I was in search of a good dentist/oral surgeon.
Before finding Dr. James, I went to a different dentist in the area. He seemed like a nice guy but my dental trauma was clearly out of his league (the look of desperation in his eyes mirrored my own!). When I found All-In-One Dental, I knew how lucky I was.
It was a relief to find Dr. James -- finally a calm, helpful, competent professional. He cleaned me up and talked me through the steps that I would take to get my once lovely teeth repaired. Visit after visit, I was impressed with the staff's friendliness, the office manager's efforts with insurance claims, the good doctor coming in to see me on an off day, and -- not to be forgotten -- the quality dental work itself!
Thanks to everyone at All-In-One Dental -- Tanya, Alina, Erin, Traci, Dr. James... everyone! I owe you one. Four, actually, if we're going by number of teeth repaired... -

When Dr Huang moved from Cupertino to Dublin - we essentially moved with him. He is both professional and pleasant to deal with. In fact, we both did our implant work with him and never regretted this.

This office lives up to the hype, in my opinion. Many people don't look forward to going to dentists, but this place does what they can to ease that feeling. I like their approach to keeping patients' minds off the procedure by having not only a tv in front of your face, but one on the ceiling as the chair is reclined.
The staff is friendly and flexible. Dr. Huang is very conscious about checking in on patients, noticing when adjustments need to be made and being reassuring. I highly recommend this office. -

This is in response to the last review I posted on Feb 21st. Dr. James replied to my post and stated things that were not true and twisted the story so it will sound like I unreasonably refused his help!
He never offered to re-do my crown "just to make me happy" the first time I was there, he said "if it's something that I did, I will fix but this crown looks fine to me" he asked for the contact information of the other dentist I had seen to ask what it is that she thought was wrong with the crown. He did call the other dentist and she sent him the x-ray she had taken. I didn't hear back from Dr. James until I saw his response on Yelp. I called back to follow up and his office manager told me that they were going to refund me the money but after they saw the Yelp review I had written that option is off the table! I asked what the result of the conversation with my new dentist was and she didn't know. She called me back later saying that the Dr. James saw a small opening in the crown and "no crown is a 100%"! so they are offering the refund again!
She said they will refund me but they are going to send a letter for me to sign first. The letter was just like Dr. James's reply to my Yelp post. He completely disregarded the fact that he got upset when I went to him the first time and didn't offer anything. He keeps stating that I waited for a year; how could I have known that there was an opening in the crown without an x-ray! That's why I didn't go back until I went to another dentist and was told about the problem. I refused to sign the letter because it wasn't true and I have not heard back from them since.
I feel very much cheated and disrespected by this doctor and his staff. Did I mention that after his office manager offered me the refund, asked if I will take down my Yelp review after I get my money!
I wish he had thought about his Yelp reviews that he obviously cares so much about the first time I stepped into his office without any intentions to hurt his reputation and simply wanted my crown to be taken care of. I went back to him first and gave him a chance to look at the crown and see for himself. I was even open to re-doing it there until he started getting upset with me and getting offended and kept saying he has never had anyone complaining about him in his 10 years of experience! I think his ego just took the best of him!
I'm really puzzled and disappointed that it came to this point, but I am following up with CA dental association and filling out paper work to complain officially. This has wasted so much of my time and energy but I am going to follow up with it until it's proved that by the CA association that the crown is not right and get my refund through them without having to sign that ridiculous letter.1 Previous Review: Show all »

I first Learned Dr Huang from Living Social! I brought my boyfriend to get our teeth cleaned last week to find out if we like the dentist.
We are now fans of Dr. Huang and I told all my friends to see him. The office was very clean and modern; the staff were super friend and most of all, Dr Huang was very patient and professional- did i mention FRIENDLY:)
We are going to have Dr James Huang as our regular dentist! -

I just came back from my regular monthly appointment this "angel of mercy" doctor James. He is saving my teeth, my smile, and consequently, my self-esteem. My case is challenging because I have a huge gap that I was told by other doctors that it is hard to close. Thank god I learned about Dr. James... Dr. James, with confidence, is successfully and artfully managing to close the gap. I could not believe my eyes few days ago when I looked at the mirror and see that only a tiny sliver has left off from this gap to close - this is in less than six month. I think that the whole gap will vanish around the timelines of my treatment. I am writing now while wearing my braces and I can feel them up and running and actively doing their job and moreover, fixing other problems at the same time. I feel the treatment on the exatct problematic spots of my teeth. Not just he is delivering what he promises, but Dr. James is also responsible, honest, kind, and truly dedicated. He replied my emails promptly when I had a question or enquiry. He is adding few tips and advices all the time so we can end up by the best results and consequently, the best smile. I am so comfortable and happy for his expertise, artistic touch to create beautiful smile, his kindness, honesty, and more important, his sense of humor that erased my worries and fear and made me always look forward to my next appointment. In fact, in my appointment today, I enjoyed the latest edition of my favorite magazine and watched a TV channel that I selected in my TV in the exam room, while he professionally was adjusting my braces and adding extra things to my treatment. He and his carefully selected staff are the best I have ever found in the bay area. I have to drive a little bit more but I am happy to do so because simply: Dr. James is WORTH IT
Note:: I worte the review yesterday after my appointment and I m sending it a day later. Actually, I woke up the next day to find an email from this kind dedicated doctor to check on my eating situation and if I am comfortable because we glued somethings that prevent full close of the bite for sometime... Haven't I said he is an angel!!!! How man doctors would do that??? He is a professional dedicated "angel dentist" :) I have not even posted this review until after I saw his email!!! This is the best dental office I have ever been too.
My dad comes here all the way from southern california to get his work done. If that doesn't say enough... continue reading at my pleasure.
Dr. Huang's office is simply amazing! Everything is brand new, high tech, and state of the art. Even plenty of tvs to watch while getting your teeth done.
The doc and his staff always offers great service and answers every one of my annoying questions with professionalism
My dad has had several implants done along with other work done here at the recommendation of his older sister who also had many of them done by Dr. Huang.
Our family truly trusts him and his work.
I wish we had a place like this down south.
TIP: he likes sports, namely baseball. -

Dr. Huang and his staff are awesome and super friendly!! They have a top notch facility that's very modern and always clean.
Great with kids of all ages as we have a 15 year old and a 4 year old that both love him. Not to mention they will find a way to help you out regardless of your dental coverage.
Let's just say they keep us smiling from ear to ear!! =D -

Where to begin!! This place is Amazing!! You walk in and your greeted with a smile. You are explained detail for detail what will be happing. James Huang is super nice!!!
My bf walked in to pick up a paper they printed for us and he said he thought he was walking into a high end hotel..lol..So far we love this place!! And i seen other places and i will only be going to all-in-one!!!!

What sold me in checking out Dr. James Huang's practice was the "free whitening for life".
His office doesn't appear to be impressive on the outside but as soon as you walk in, you will be more than amazed! It's like going to a SPA!
In the main lobby, his office provides FREE snacks and Internet access while you wait to be called in. As soon as you enter the glass doors to be seated in one of his plush dental chairs, I was handed a remote control that gives me full access to his flat panel TV displayed in front of me!
As my seat was tilted back for full examination, I was surprised with another flat panel above me, hung against the ceiling, so that I may continue watching TV while Dr. J works on my teeth!
Impressive! His office definitely has the most modern, state of the art equipment!
Minor setbacks - 1) Dr J. didn't see me till a half hour later because another patient was running behind. I didn't mind the wait since I got to watch TV. 2) The experience of getting my teeth cleaned was a bit...wet. My face was getting mistified! Nothing to be horrified about but be prepared to get a little spray on your face.
Since this is a new practice, Dr. J seems to be flexible with his hours. My husband got an appt as late as 6:30pm. And Dr. J is the one cleaning my teeth - not a hygienist. I'm taking advantage of the 1:1 on time with my dentist before he gets too busy!
Dr. J and his staff are very cordial, professional, and friendly. If you are looking to change your dentist, I highly recommend Dr. J! You'll love his office!
OH! P.S. As for the whitening, I get my free trays next week and every 6 months for cleaning, I get free whitening gel! WOO HOO!Listed in: In My Hood

Just got back from All-in-1-Dental, where I used my Living Social coupon for xrays, exam, and cleaning. I really like this place! The personnel were all super friendly, the atmosphere was bright and cheery, and Dr. Huang had a pleasant demeanor and manner. The lobby is modern and inviting. The exam rooms are wonderful with a flat panel tv on the wall and one above your head for when you are reclined back! I hadn't been to the dentist in 5 years, and was dreading this appointment...b/c I figured there would be a TON of scraping and digging. But Dr. Huang uses an ultrasonic tool that was "virtually" painless. It was awesome!
The only thing that would make it better would be ear phones so you can still hear the tv over the whine of the instruments and to cancel some of the "dread" that you feel when you hear all the high pitched dental tools coming at you! (Oh and perhaps a warmed lavender neck pillow like they had at my last dentist!)
Have already scheduled my next cleaning appointment for March!
Would highly recommend Dr. Huang and All-in-1-Dental. -

Dr. James as the staff refers to him as, is very kind and gentle. I just had a tooth pulled and an implant placed and I felt like I could not have been in better hands. The staff is kind and sweet and I actually for the first time in my 56 years do not mind going to the dentist. Honestly. That is the truth.
I have had a lot of bad experiences and that is all in the past. I truly enjoy Dr. James Huang, his wife and staff. Thank you all for caring so much. -

Why go to any random dentist in your neighborhood shopping center when you know you get the best and most reliable dental services at Dr. Huang's office in Dublin?
I've been going to Dr. Huang since his days in Cupertino. I found the new office even better equipped. Most dental offices are so sterile and have that funky smell. Where at Dr. Huang's office, the decor makes you think that you're in for a retreat with TVs, magazines, and free single-cup coffees. Oh, and did I mention there's a TV hooked from the ceiling so you can even watch TV when you're laying flat on the chair?
Dr. Huang is always patient and lets you know the good, bad, and ugly for all procedures. He cares for his patients like you're one of his friends. Because of Dr. Huang, I begin to enjoy my twice-a-year dental office visits and the unplanned ones in between :) -

What a great experience. Walking in the door to hip music, beautiful design with soothing colors followed by hot cider. Truly an all-in-one experience...didn't have to leave the chair for xrays and the doctor himself did the cleaning. Up to date tools made my cleaning pain free. I actually enjoyed my visit today, weird huh? I would highly recommend to anyone in need of dental care and a good doctor who will help you put together a long term plan!

First, I'm not a big fan of going to a dentist. I go because "I have to". With that said, Dr Huang and his staff helped change my perception of your typical dental office.
The reception room was clean, and modern. They even had drinks and snacks too! Who eats before seeing their dentist? Flat-panel TV's will keep you entertained while you wait for your turn in the chair. Nice.
The staff was attentive, and professional. They put you at ease during the whole process, and before you know it, you're done. Why was it never like this before?
Overall, I had a very good experience, and I would not hesitate to recommend this office to friends and family. -

We moved into Tri-Valley area not very long ago and haven't gotten around to looking for a local dentist. Fortunately, we don't have to look any futher!
At the risk of repeating what other reviewers have to say, I think previous reviews are on-the-mark. Here are my impressions after one visit. I'll leave it up to reviewers to comment on how good Dr. Huang is as I don't have enough experience to comment yet.
The building is quite new, and the interior is clean and contemporary. Thoughtful small touches all contribute to making the experience comfortable and soothing for patients. It's certainly not a stretch for other reviewers to have called All-in-One spa-like!
The staff is friendly. The equipment appears to be state-of-the-art--at least modern; the x-rays are digital, which don't emit as much radiation. You can even watch cable TV (forward and overhead--what a nice touch!) and select your own channel while being attended to. Upon first impression, Dr. Huang is experienced and gentle.
The location is very convenient (for us). The operating days/hours of service support people with busy schedules.
What more can you ask? -

My wife and I have been Dr. James Huang's patients for over 6 years. We found his original Alpine Dental office in Cupertino back in 2004 through my insurance company and stayed with him ever since. The doctor and staff are simply amazing - always professional, courteous, personal, flexible with scheduling. The brand new All-In-One Dental Innovations office in Dublin is quite a treat too - think W Hotel Spa. It has gorgeous lobby with computer, complimentary drinks and snacks, ultramodern patient chairs with 2 personal LCD TVs (including one on the ceiling), digital X-rays, all-glass doors and many other amenities that make you feel special. All-in-all, our family's best dental experience and complete confidence in Dr. James.

i'm scared of dentist. at first site, his dentist office is state of the art. his assistants are welcoming and not over bearing. with tv screens everywhere ( i mean everywhere) you feel comforted waiting even for a few minutes. the dr sized my teeth right and i will be back for more.

Wonderful staff, amazing atmosphere, excellent work! Cable flat screen TV in every room they give you the remote so you can comfortably enjoy your visit. They even called me after my appointment to ask me if my filling was giving me any trouble. Best Dental office and staff hands down!

Dr. Huang is AWESOME! Very kind, detailed, friendly and thorough. Does every type of dental/orthodontic/periodontic/surgical procedure and is well rounded with everything. (Hence the name all-in-one) very well educated and has excellent credentials. He explains everything to you and makes you feel very comfortable with him and just being at the dentist overall (cuz everyone hates the dentist). Extremely nice and very clean office, two Tvs in each room, one on the ceiling for the patient to watch and a big one on the wall in front of you. Open late hours too, so its convenient for those who get off work at 5 or later. In the waiting room there are magazines, free snacks, free juice/water, Tv, and free internet use. The ONLY negative is that he has only one assistant so if she's not there he does all of his procedures alone so it might take a lot longer to finish. Overall the place is awesome, Dr.Huang is great and I'd recommend the place to anyone. I live in fresno but he's so good and the place is so appealing that I'll take the drive back up north just to go there.

I've been seeing James for regular cleanings since 2005 and I couldn't be more satisfied with his services. Not only do I go to him for regular check-ups, I've also gotten Invisalign and Zoom! teeth whitening from him as well (which were both great experiences). Super professional staff, clean and comfortable office, I highly recommend anyone looking for a dentist to check this place out.

Great doctor and great new office! He's my dentist since 2004 and I followed him to his new clinic along with my friends from Concord. It's always a pleasant experience to be there. I went to cleaning with my baby and it was fun for her to seat on top of me and watch. Highly recommend him!
