We specialize "Texas" Style Bar-B-Que, Gluten Free, and made with fresh, local ingredients. Traditional catering items also available upon request. All BBQ items are smoked with a combination of flavored woods and rubbed with our own dry rub blend. We create custom menus to suit any occasion large or small and accommodate all food allergies as well as Vegetarian and Vegan options. We buy only the freshest seafood, produce, and meats from local businesses as well as various local farms.

I don't typically write reviews and especially negative reviews but I do not want another couple to endure what we did recently. At our daughter's recently catered event "all friends" provided a service that could only be described as embarrassing for us and for them. We requested family style service which they stated they could provide. In the end the three meats we requested were served in bowls that were less than 1/3 full at each table along with two other sides. The amazing part was each individual dish came out separately. Family jokes that they were served potato salad and the. If they were "good" and finished their salad they were given a piece of meat. And if they were " good" and cleaned their plate they may get something else. Hungry guests was evidenced by the mad dash to the sundae bar while dinner was still being "served". And although they agreed to set up and assist with dessert they did not even put ice in the tubs for the ice cream as discussed.
There was a problem with the venue and water had to be shut off for a bit. The caterers answer to this was to leave after dinner without even clearing the plates from the tables. Nothing. Leaving the dining room a disaster.
I attempted to email to discuss these issues and more, not to receive a refund, but initially to try to help a small business. But unfortunately they are taking absolutely no responsibility for their service or their departure. They stated it was not in the contract to clear the tables because we rented dishes as opposed to using paper products. There are no words for the disappointment I just wish they would learn from their mistakes. I have learned from mine. I am sorry you felt the need to write such a slanderous and inaccurate review. I take great pride in my business and have been successfully catering now for over 7 years. Your statements are far fetched to say the least. I will not allow someone to make statements that are hurtful to my business when they are just not true. The "issue" you mention with the venue that you chose was actually a huge problem. First off, almost none of their kitchen equipment works, including their ice machine, so we had no way of getting ice for your ice cream containers and no stores close by were open at the time. The bartending service had to provide their own ice just for drinks! The biggest "issue" though was the fact that the septic burst and was leaking raw sewerage into the kitchen, lounge, and dining room areas. It was so bad in the kitchen that my servers had to throw away their shoes because they could not get the smell out as they were stepping in several inches worth of waste in kitchen while washing dishes and cleaning, even though you state we did not. Water had to be turned off, people had to use at outhouse for a bathroom and things were not fixed for over 2 hours. My staff cleared tables, cleaned dishes, and did everything they were supposed to but without running water or access to the kitchen what else could they do? Dinner service was completed, cleared, and dessert was served all in less than an hour for over 150 guests, so your statements about dinner are flat out wrong. We had been meeting for over a year, had a signed contract, and you wanted to supply your own china, glasses, etc rather than having us provide it or use our normal disposables. I provided you with an estimate from my rental company, but you decided not to use them. Our agreement stated, on the 1st page 1st section, that if you chose to get your own supplies, we are not responsible for them as you have a separate agreement with the company, not us. You did not pay me or my staff to assist with half of what we did, as you were supposed to set your own tables as you wanted and we would "assist" if needed as was asked. I walked into the venue with stacks of plates and dishes and had to have my staff scramble around to decorate and set tables last minute without any direction, seating list, or anything, and we were not compensated to do so. We washed your dishes, cleared tables, stacked dishes all we could before we couldn't use kitchen anymore, all of which we were not contracted to do, nor were paid to do. I had my staff make sure everything was taken care of anyways. Despite what you claim about emailing me to "help" a small business get better, you indeed emailed me requesting a large refund and each time I disputed what you claimed, you came out with something else. of course after I refused to give a refund as we did EVERYTHING we were supposed to according to our contract and then some, in horrible, unsanitary working conditions, you then chose to write this review. - Steve P.Acushnet, MA01Aug 19, 2015
I was disappointed. Very bummed out. It's just impossible to find good bbq in New England. Ribs and brisket undercooked and dried out. Just a little tip, you may want to put some bbq sauce on the tables. If you have to ask for some, that's bad. And threatening legal action on someone for a bad review? Lol pretty dumb move. Jon and his staff catered our wedding last month and they were amazing. The food was superb, guests really loved the Portuguese fish (even folks who were confessed fish haters, tried the fish and raved about how good it was!), the cranberry apple salad was excellent and the appetizers (stuffed mushrooms & scallops wrapped in bacon were OMG yum!) Jon and his staff went above and beyond making sure the food was safe (I have a large number of food allergies and intolerances) and it was wonderful to have an event (my own wedding) where I didn't have to worry about anything I ate making me sick! Thank you to everyone at All Friends, you guys are awesome!!

I feel cheated. I feel the service wasn't professional. Jon tried to blame everything on me without being clear of what he expected of me up front. I followed everything to the "t' listed in the contract. I think I was pretty clear in what my expectations of you were and you failed to meet them. I (and "about" 160 other people) will never recommend your services for a sit-down catered meal.

Unfortunately these statements are false. Client failed to adhere to contract as signed and agreed upon for what they were responsible for. They did not use seating chart that was given to me, and had more guests than final count specified creating major problems for service and scrambling for food in the kitchen as almost 15 more dishes needed to be prepared. Not having guests sitting in proper seats for service after giving detailed list made it almost impossible to provide service for 170 guests with no idea who was getting what meal. We did the best we could to keep it together and finish service as we owed it to the bride and groom. This client caused problems for all vendors involved and is banned from the event hall they rented for the wedding.

11 of us showed up for lunch after a local youth bowling tournament. The food was a little slow coming out, but there was another large party as well. Everything was AMAZING! The ribs were my favorite followed closely by the chicken and brisket. The mac and cheese was... mac and cheese, but the beans were really great. I would certainly recommend and would return when we are in Westport again. Reasonably priced - even for the shareable meals.

Awful. Hard, uncooked rice, Pork that tasted like it came out of the microwave, the beef tenderloin was completely raw(people were having trouble cutting it), and the shrimp mozambique tasted as it had been cooked days ahead of time. They also forgot to serve the salad before the dinner service. I would certainly not recommend.

Again, greatly satisfied with the service! We always get the lasagna and chicken mozambique, which is a big hit! This time we added Pulled pork and Portuguese style codfish, everyone loved it. Jonathan has been great to work with- easy to get in touch with and responses are prompt. We have used All Friends for a graduation party and a 30th birthday party. We are yet to be disappointed! Most recently we were able to sample the Fall Harvest Soup which is to die for, I can't wait to have it again.
