All fired has been around for years and is a staple of Hillsboro Village. I really suck at painting and I even have fun at this. My kids really enjoy it as well. It's great if you want to give a personal gift or if your looking to maybe get some memorable ornaments to hang on to. My kids have all done one.
As for pricing, they aren't cheap and there is a painting fee so it's probably good to have a plan if your price conscious and have a family. However, if it's just you and a cup of coffee, it's well worth the relaxing time. I am always really pleasantly surprised at how bright and shiny the pieces come out. -

My girlfriend went through this art phase a couple months ago and dragged me to All Fired Up. It is a "paint it yourself" ceramics shop near Vanderbilt and across the street from Bosco's. I do not care much for places like this, but I had an enjoyable time there. They have pottery that you just paint on and create your own designs. The attraction for places like this is they supply all of the supplies, so there are no worries, just show up and create!
I definitely got in touch with my artistic self that day, and it was not bad. I can imagine that this would be a good place to have a child's birthday party or for anyone who just needs some custom house accessories.
