After being completely ignored at a "tire shop" my friend insisted we went to ADTS. I was a little hesitant because it didn't seem like they would be able to help me with my tire issues.
I was completely wrong and I got my problems resolved. They were very nice and efficient. They didn't do unecessary checks on my car to overcharge me and I really appreciate that. I know that it is hard to just base opinions on 1 visit, but I would suggest people give this a try before going to different places and getting overcharged for things that the shops didn't even fix.
I love this place!! -

After hitting Firestone & Midas to be met with 2 hours waits, we headed over to this place. 10 minutes, he said.
We thought we'd just need a patch but it turns out we needed a new tire. They were personable and honest, which is rare today. What's more is that they can do a good job quickly, proving that if you're doing it fast and you half-ass it, you shouldn't be doing it at all.
You should also know that this place is cash only. -

I have never seen someone more aware of the million things going on around him than the young guy who runs this shop. He was in the middle of writing me my receipt and explaining the warranty for 2 new tires when he suddenly reached behind him and grabbed one of his co-workers and told him the tire he was holding was overfilled. Then in about 5 seconds time, he let some air out of the tire, checked the pressure, gave his co-worker the tire back and was back writing my receipt. It was truly more impressive than it sounds. Good place, fair prices.
Also, I love seeing a tire shop right in the heart of the retail corridor of division. -

Do you know why All Day Tire has 138 reviews and a five-star rating? Because they deserve it. This is a five star establishment. No doubt.
I hit a curb one day and I had a completely flat tire by the time I parked at Oakley and Division. After emptying an entire can of fix-a-flat into the damn thing, I realized that there was no way I'd be driving my car even another block to a tire place.
The Yelp mobile app directed me to All-Day. I called them around 8:30 a.m., explaining my predicament and asking if they had a tow-truck or knew I guy who could tow me.
They asked for all the details about my ride, put me on hold for a minute and then said they could actually come out to my location and fix it for me curbside. Awesome. They had a good used tire for $40. Even more awesome.
I told them that I was working in the morning and made an appointment to meet their guy around noon. When I checked my voicemail at noon, I had a message saying that they'd already come out and fixed my tire WHILE I WAS AT WORK(!) and I could just come to their shop and pay in person. I was flabbergasted when I saw my little car sitting out there good as new!
Tire Angels!
I am now two months out and it's worked out perfectly. This was sadly, my second flat tire of the summer, so I've experienced other repair shops. My other experience was good, but twice as expensive. There is no comparison to All Day. These guys deserve your business. I hope you don't get a flat, but if you do, these are your guys. -

I read the same glowing All-Day Tire Shop reviews that you have or will read here, and thought "this is a no-brainer!" so I went there for the first time yesterday.
You know what? It IS a no-brainer!!! Great prices, great service, great attitude, flawless execution. It doesn't get any better than this
The PREVIOUS place we went completely screwed up the electronic tire pressure sensors (that control the dashboard warning light) on two of the tires; this required a trip to the dealership and $$$ to fix. So, I was worried that the same thing was going to happen, but NO WORRIES WITH ALL-DAY! They have our business forever!!!!!
NOTE:
1. This facility is not drive-in: don't look for a driveway into the building. Just park, go inside, and they'll tell you where to leave your car.
2. They are cash only (but given their prices, you won't mind)
3. No tricked-out waiting room with flat screen, coffeemaker, and stylin' furniture. Just a basic old couch and some chairs and a few magazines. Need more TLC? You're in Wicker Park; just walk to coffeehouses, cafes, restaurants, and more, all within 1-2 blocks -

Almost 2 months now and the patch in one tire and the plug in another are both holding up just fine. But another loose screw found its way to a third tire while I was not paying attention. I think I might have picked it up in a Menard's parking lot. So after stumbling around on it for most of the morning doing errands, I spent 75¢ to fill up the tire so I could head over to All-Day.
As always, I was taken care of within minutes of parking in the spots just outside the shop. Car was jacked up and wheel removed in a speed to match that at Indy. Witnessed the alchemy of tire patching first hand and paid my $10 when asked. Again, no receipt (which I joked about with the owner while paying.) But I was on my way within 20 minutes. The Chicago way!1 Previous Review: Show all »

Working in the west loop, I wanted and needed to get my flat fixed quickly during my break. The closest for tires was this place. I put the address in my navigator and drove over to Division- keep your eyes peeled cuz it's small and you could miss it in a blink because I did.... especially with the heavy rain. I was expecting to find a junky lot with rows of tires with a garage and a little shack for their office but noooooo. It's a small corner shop with all the tires and machinery inside, and as I parked along wolcott, there were guys working on another car on the street.
I really like it here. They were quick, efficient, no nonsense, very nice guys... I just pointed out where my flat was, then minutes later they brought it in showing me the damage and what my option was from there. I had a nail in mine. Aaaack. Where the hell do all these nails come from? It's always a nail! nails, Nails, NAILS!! Always around somewhere on the street, waiting to puncture your perfectly good tire! ugh. My tire was pretty much beyond repair so I just paid for another tire- 40 bucks, cash only. Thank goodness I have AAA but after seeing that tire, I considered myself so lucky to not just blow it out completely and be stuck on the side of some busy Chicago street waiting on help, cuz God knows I don't know how to change a tire myself. I was in and out of there quickly- all within 30 minutes, then it's back to the west loop. I highly recommend. -

A review update for the best tire shop in the world! I had a flat on one of my front tires. It was 6PM, and I needed to use my car. I checked Yelp. Saw they were open until 8PM, and I hurriedly put my spare on and drove over.
I told them I had a flat in the trunk, popped the trunk, and by the time I could move my car to the other side of the street they already had it in the tub and had found the leak.
They put a plug in. $10 total. They put the tires back on in the right places and replaced a bad lug nut for me.
Yet another great experience. I hope I don't have to go back any time soon, but I'll know that when I do I'll be in good hands.1 Previous Review: Show all »

Man, this place is the best fosho! Well, I've been to the one on Western and I guess they're just as good. Granted the tire I needed is very common, they had the new(used) tire on my car in 15 minutes. One guy did all the work and the two other guys and myself watched the girlies walking by. The total was $45 for the tire, balancing and mounting. This was a great price for me as I own an older car and didn't want to spend $65-$75 for a new tire plus $19-$24 for balancing and mounting, $2-$3 rubber valve stem fee, $2-$3.50 disposal fee, $3-$5 TPMS service fee(???), 3%-5% shop fee and then tax. On top of that a new tire place would probably try to hard sell me on two tires, brake job, alignment....
I would definitely recommend this place. They are quick, know what they're doing and have good pricing on fixing or replacing flats. -

I live on the far northwest side and was near Oakley/Division visiting a friend. One block from her place and whap-whap-whap. I see no flats. I check more closely...there's some one-inch plastic piece with a huge nail in the driver's side front tire. I pull it out. FSSSSSSSSS. I stuff it back in and head onto Western, hoping to find some tire shop on my long, slow way back home.
I spy a cop and ask where the nearest tire shop is, he points me down Division. I wait at the curb about 3 minutes, the tire was off in seconds, repaired in less than 10. While waiting, I chat up the counter guy (I'm not about to sit on the stained couch) and learn the shop has been in business 22 years in the same location. They and a hardware store are the sole survivors of gentrification.
Praise Whomever!
Without ADTS, my day could have been total crapola. One thing, though, the tire guy put the lug nuts on in a clockwise pattern. I was taught you tighten up across from the last one done. He was careful to hand me back my lug nut locking tool, though. (Which my regular mechanic has left sitting on his bench nearly every visit). Still, the wheel is on and I've been driving at high speeds without any trouble. -

This place doesn't need another glowing review but I will post this anyway because I was impressed with their honesty. I wanted to get a new set of tires. He quoted me their price but then told me that I could check out prices on http://tirerack.com and then have them shipped to their shop (adding $80 for labor charges). Its not every day that a business will give you this information but this just attests to them being good people!

I have never had any kind of service of any kind for anything that was less of a hassle than going to All Day.
If you've ever had a car, you know how much of a pain getting ANY service can be on it. Getting a flat fixed can be a huge ordeal - I've tried Pep Boys - had to drop off the tire for a couple days there.
I drove over a giant screw, then headed to All-Day right after work. I wasn't first in line, but the minute I pulled up there was a guy with a jack ready for me. He had the tire off, rinsed, took off the alloy rim, then patched the hole from the inside. All of this was done in less than 10 min for $10. Just silly efficient.
Had to follow up this tire patching errand with a trip to drop off a package at the fabulous Wicker Park Post Office - which do you think took longer and was a bigger headache? -

the hype is true. left out the house early on this Sunday morning to test out the claim that ADTS was all that it was hyped up to be. pulled up to the location, went inside and immediately saw that dreaded stained couch but who cares right i wasn't there to lounge i needed air in all fours cause my air pressure sensor light was on. BAM! dude comes out, takes a look, brings out the heavy duty air compressor and BAM! again...done,just like that. he even told me why the air pressure sensor light was on(one of the valves was technologically challenged) and that it's cheaper to get one at Auto Zone, etc. rather than the stealership or tire service center(Goodyear,Firestone). cost for the air and the info......ZERO...NADA...ZILCH. i'm in,from now on when i need tire servicing i'm going to All-Day Tire Shop.

Best tire repair in the city, I dare you to find a place that patches, not plugs, your tire for ten bucks. All in all it took barely 20 minutes for them to get the tire off, find the leak, patch it, reset it on the rim and get it back on the car, can't be beat.

This place isn't getting five stars because of their lush interior waiting area (it's not) or their spacious tire changing facility (they don't have one - they do it on the street).
This place gets five starts because it took 10 minutes for them to get the tire off, patch it, and send me on my way. Total cost? $10. Pretty sure I asked the guy twice how much it was because I couldn't believe it.
Employees were nice enough and I trust a place like this because they do one thing, and do it well. -

Believe the hype.
See KT in Racine, WI at a Kia dealership with her Soul while husband looks at a new car. Asks friendly Kia people to look at her tires, since the stupid tire light has been on, even though she has just been at Jiffy Lube and had her tires rotated. See Kia people say that KT has been driving from Chi-WI with a NAIL in her tire. See Kia people say KT needs a new tire, but they don't have one in stock.
See KT try to make appointment at Grossinger Kia for new tire, only to be hung up on three times.
See KT go to Yelp, find an awesome tire shop, give it a try
KT goes to All-Day Tire Shop, ON A SUNDAY (why are no other tire shops open?), mentally prepared to spend 1+ hours and $100+.
See KT leave in 20 minutes with a patched tire, paying $10 in cash.
When I left the shop, I literally did the Wayne's World "I'm not worthy" head bow.

I love this place just because it is a TIRE SHOP right on Division. All tires, all the time. Old school. I have no idea how this place has not been bought out by a coffee shop or bar.
You can actually smell the rubber when you walk by. My dog loves it. I frequently see cars jacked up right outside on Wolcott.
Thankfully I have not yet required their services, but you can bet that's where I am going to go when I need to. -

Tire blows out.
Might as well replace all four, but don't want to spend a ton.
Call All-day and they have them in stock and within an hour have four new tires installed, old ones disposed and driving back home for almost half the price of any other place.
Sure the store doesn't look nice, but come on, they sell and only do tires. -

Great little place to get your tire fixed when you are on the go. I mostly went this place because of the rates mentioned on Yelp. The guy charged me $15, which is double what I expected to pay
Seems like they dont have structured prices and make them up as they go along? Anyoo great service and i tipped the guy anyway -

Came in knowingly wearing my "rip-me-off-I'm-ignorant" hat, came out not feeling like a total sucker. Filled a flat myself but stopped by just to be sure I wasn't going to die next time I got on the freeway. Tito took one look at my tires and said something along the lines of: your flat-now-inflated will hold up, but your back tires a bald. Not good for the winter.
I knew this, was procrastinating dealing with it. So, under 20 min and $80 later I have piece of mind at the very least. Super easy, super painless, and super cheap (I think. Still wearing the ignorant hat). -

We had an unfortunate tire incident this evening on our way out to run errands, and we found All Day on Yelp.
This place is unbelieveable. The gentlemen that run the shop are fast, friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable.
We got a patch on our tire, took the donut off, and were on our way in about 15 minutes. All for $10 bucks. I gave then $15 just because it was deserved, and then some.
This place is run by true professionals, that understand what exceptional customer service looks and feels like.
Outstanding store, idea, and staff. Bravo. -

Getting a flat tire usually f**ks up a person's day. This place will get that day back on course for you. I will echo the other reviewers: cheap and fast with pleasant service.

The best!!! Stop in for your tire woes. Time it right and there's no wait. Had four tires with slow leaks and they found a screw in one of them and leaky valve stems in the other three. Fixed all of them at a price that was beyond fair and explained everything all the way through. Great service and a great business.

I had a great experience at this shop on Sunday. On Saturday, I bought a new motorcycle (a 1980 Honda CB750C). The previous owner really liked doing burnouts, so the back tire was bald, but he had given me a replacement tire for it. On Sunday, I needed to figure out how to replace the tire. I don't have tire irons and I'd never changed or balanced a tire before so I thought it would make sense, in the interest of time, to have someone do it for me. I called All-Day and the guy said that they could definitely change a motorcycle tire and they could do it on the spot and it would be cheap (it was $15).
When I got there, I realized there had been some miscommunication. They could change the tire, but they couldn't take it off the bike. Fortunately, I brought my tool roll with me. They were noticeably impressed when I unrolled it and got to work taking the tire off. One of the guys (Miguel) was particularly interested and sat with me the whole way. I had some trouble at one point and he jumped right in and started helping! Together, we got the wheel off and they replaced the tire. Then Miguel and I set out to put it back together, which we were able to do quickly with both of us working on it.
As I was leaving, the other guys were asking Miguel about the process and he expressed that it was pretty easy. After all, it was the first time that ever of us had ever done it and we were able to figure it out.
So while their official policy may be not to get involved with motorcycle tires, they did seem pretty receptive to the idea. I know that some other car-centric places won't even let you in the door, so this is quite refreshing. If you are going for work on a car, I'm sure you'll be just fine. If you're going for work on a motorcycle, I'd recommend going on a slow day and bringing your tools. -

I showed up 10 minutes before closing and told them my tire was doing this weird half-deflated thing. I saw a cash only sign so I went to the chase down the street. It was fixed when I got back. He said there was a screw in my tire and he patched it. $10.
What the fuck ever costs $10 when it comes to an Audi? You can't even get a decent rinse for $10. I was on my way home 14 minutes later. Why can't everything be this ridiculously simple and easy and fair? If Steve Jobs can be my president, All-Day-Tire-Shop guy should be the head of the IRS.Listed in: rants that rofl

This place was recommended to me from another tire shop that was out of my size. I walked in, told them I needed 2 used tires. They asked if I'd like "newer" used tires, or the cheapest ones. I went for the newer ones with only 500 miles on them. The total for 2 matching Good Year tires with balancing, installation, and whatever else they do was only $95.
I feel like I got a great deal. They guys were friendly, and spoke english very well (not to be racist, but it helps, really).
The two younger guys took off my tires, out the new ones on my rims, and I was out of there in NO TIME!
They also waranteed my new/used tires for 5 MONTHS!!!
One more compliment. When I asked if they would sell me a set of hubcaps because one of mine was stolen, they said "Oh, you don't need a full set, come back on Wednesday and we'll have one here for you" Which I replied with a "How much is THAT gonna cost me?" In response he said "You're one of my sustomers now, its FREE" FREE!! yes, that's right, FREE!
He also gave me a fancy schmancy tire guage cause I didn't have one. I think it's pretty nice as far as those things go.
I TOTALLY recommend these guys. They're straight up, no frills people.
Be sure to tip the kids that are putting the tires on though. They're working HARD for that money!!!! -
Review from Stacy Y.
Due to extreme hungover laziness I was unable to get my poor tire repaired over the weekend - so as soon as lunch time hit on monday I knew I needed to get this taken care of!
After reading the great reviews - I headed over to All-Day! Now, it was about 11:45 am on a Monday - there were 2 cars ahead of me. But once they went to town on my tire - I was outta there in about 15 minutes! FOR ONLY $10 - I was elated to say the least. That damn nail! I can't decide if I want to blame the construction crews on Paulina & Diversey or on McLean & Damen. Grrrr!!!!
Anyways...it's a ridiculously dirty yet charming storefront. I thought the staff was really friendly - and even a little entertaining/silly, which I enjoyed. They answered all of my questions and were extremely polite.
My only suggestion is to bring small bills with you - I had to wait while one of the guys ran across the street for change (I only had a $20).
Efficient, friendly, professional and quick service.

Ever had a business drag you out of your 4 month long hibernation from writing reviews? Well, this place was THAT outstanding.
I had a flat- driver's side rear, to be specific. Yelp hinted that I should go here, but out of sheer laziness I drove it over to the Midas on Clybourn. "Miss, we're sorry. We can't really give you an estimate as to how long it'll take, and we're closing in about 30 minutes." Well, at least they offered to pump enough air into the tire to get me over to these guys.
Midas on Clybourn, thank you for being too busy to fix my tire. You saved me time, at least $20, and introduced me to some amazing tire guys. These guys were fast, efficient, hard-working, and friendly.
Next time you get a flat, queue up your car, let the guys know which tire needs fixing, get your $10 and tip out (you gotta hurry, 'cuz they're like the Jimmy John's of tires), and thank them for making flat tires a little less annoying. -

I was putting the temp. tire on my car on Fullerton when some guy shouted at me from across the street to go to "that incredible corner tire shop on Division..."
After going there I will not go anywhere else for tire service - the service was fast, the staff was awesome - and sitting in the waiting area you could watch the whole process. Really neat!
By the way, be sure to tip generously... that's a lot of great work for a very cheap price! -

These guys rule!
I had been going someplace else nearby for used tires, but I got tired of the rude service and crappy used tires that only lasted 2 months or so. I did what I always do when I want to find an awesome anything, I looked to Yelp! My fellow Yelpers steered me right once again.
The service is courteous and quick and the two tires I bought in October were reasonably priced ($45--I have an old Caddy) and are holding up well. Neither one has even shown signs of a slow leak (which is more than I can say for the 5 used tires I bought elsewhere in the neighborhood over the last year).
Bonus: They're open until 8pm on weekdays, so they're convenient too.
Yay for All Day Tires! -

OK. I've been in Chicago for a few months now, and strangely enough, a tire shop is the first place to compel me to post a review.
I've had a Prius for about a year and a half now. I'm coming to the end of my second winter with the car. Early in the first winter, I came to the realization that it was, by far, the worst car I had ever driven on snow and ice. So a set of snow tires was in order. What to do, what to do? Order a new set of rims and tires? Well, Toyota has seen fit to install some sort of wireless tire pressure sensor to each rim which adds about $100 per rim. So instead, i decided to buy a set of snow tires and swap them on and off every season.
The first install was easy - http://TireRack.com delivered them to my local Goodyear Tire center, they put them on, after making an appointment and still waiting around for 3 hours, for around $80. Getting the summer tires back on in the spring was a little more challenging - had to get an oil change or something so I decided to have the Toyota dealer do it at the same time. Make an appointment, have them drive me to work, etc. etc. etc. After a multi-hour ordeal I came out $100 lighter with tires that weren't even set to the correct tire pressure. Each season this little ritual has become more and more of a challenge - to the point where I started thinking about it and trying to make a plan for the inevitable swap in early February this year.
But then I moved to Chicago and, thanks to fellow Yelpers, discovered All-Day Tire Shop! I pulled in next to the fire hydrant on Walcott, told one of the guys exactly what had to be done, and 15 minutes and $40 (cash only) later I was on the road, summer tires on the rims, snow tires in the hatch!
It was truly amazing how quickly they were done with the job, and they don't even have a nice heated garage like Goodyear or the Toyota dealer! Right out there next to the curb on Walcott.
All-Day Tire has taken a task that used to bring on a dull, nagging ache behind the eyes every spring and fall and turned it into a fun little semiannual trip to the NASCAR pit lane for the Prius! -
