My girlfriend and I took a random trip from Boston to Maine (an hour trip that turned into 8 hours because of all of the fun things to see on the way), and ended up staying in some hotel off of I-95. To this day, I have no idea where we were. Anyway, the next day we did some more driving and ended up in Kennebunkport (adorable little place, by the way). It was the dead of winter, end of January I think, so there was no one around.
We stopped at ADB and it's just awesome. Service is great, the food is fantastic, and the portions are perfect. I find that sometimes when I go out to breakfast, the potatoes and/or omelettes are too greasy and there's too much on my plate and I feel disgusting by the time I'm done. Not so at ADB. Good, quality food that makes you feel like a million bucks when you leave.
I love this place. -

Great breakfast place. The best in the Saco/Biddeford area. Clean, good food that's well prepared and presented, and good service.

4 stars instead of five because although the breakfast was amazing, we waited almost an hour for our food.
I had the veggie omelette with a side of bacon and a side of salsa. The salsa was the perfect topping for the eggs and it's homemade. Delicious! The bacon was done just right and our coffee cup was never empty.
We waited a really long time for our food, but our server was friendly and kept calm in spite of the gazillion tables she was waiting on. I think the reason why the wait was so long is that it was labor day weekend and there were a bunch of huge tables ahead of us.
They also should extend their hours- it's not really all day breakfast! -

I liked this little breakfast place. We were looking for a place to grab second breakfast (first breakfast had been at 5am), and this fine establishment hit the spot without hitting our wallet too hard.
The waitress described the "white sauce" that would come with my bacon, mushroom, and pepper crepes as "bland," simply containing butter, flour, salt. I was surprised that a waitress would use such a negative, although honest, word for it, and she was right: it was bland. It needed salt and tons of pepper (the picture is pre-doctoring). The crepes needed a sauce, and a tastier white sauce would've made them spectacular. The waitress even came over to ask me what I thought, and I talked about what I did to it. She takes feedback to the kitchen all the time, which is kinda neat.
Overall, though, the crepes were good, especially the bacon, which was cooked perfectly, chopped into proper little bits, and totally scrumptious. New England Coffee, to me, is a happy thing, and I was glad they served it here. Well brewed, fresh, exactly what I needed to fuel the rest of my drive home.
Nice little place, great atmosphere (it's like eating in someone's really big living room), wonderful service. Totally worth the 10 minute detour from the rest stop, especially if you want more than rest stop convenience store stuff. -

Staff was very friendly. Nothing was greasy. Everything was well made! Also liked that they made mickey mouse pancakes!

This was a fun little country-kitchen place that delivers exactly what it says - all day breakfast (and sometimes lunch, in the high season). The food was fantastic - our respective pancakes and french toast were uniformly fluffy and delicious. There are good (not cheesy) nautical photographs on the walls for sale, but what's best about the place is it's own sense of humor about itself. Our salt-and-pepper shakers were in the shape of fat little tourists. Our waitress served up just the right amount of sass and she was as equally fun and friendly with all her tables, creating a breezy atmosphere.
Definitely get your grub on here - Kennebunkport seemed to be suffering from a dearth of both a sense of humor about itself and affordable places to eat. Just over the bridge into Kennebunk is All Day Breakfast (all day being 7am - 3pm) - get fueled up and happy here. -

We stopped here on our way up the coast of Maine. It was a rainy, misty morning and All Day Breakfast was the perfect place to enjoy a nice hot cup of coffee and breakfast.
This place is small-and crowded. The crowds are for good reason-the food and service is great. I got the Mexican Omelet (cheese, onions green pepper and home made salsa) served with toast and home fries (my healthy eating took a vacation when I did). My husband got pancakes with sausage, toast and home fries, We both got coffee and orange juice.
The service was very good-even though our server had several tables with huge groups-she was efficient and friendly. The tables all have interesting ceramic salt and pepper shakers on them. They are all different.
All Day Breakfast is a cute and quaint restaurant
PS-The address at the heading of the review says it is on Port Road-I believe it is also called Western Avenue. -

Great little place. We were there in June '11 and though it was crowded the service was great. Seemed like everyone were locals besides us -- a group of men were reading newspapers and talking about Rep. Weiner's scandal; another group of women were congratulating one on a new grandchild. Lots of talk between tables and kidding Cindy, the waitress, who sassed back. Wish there were more places like this! Excellent food, too.

Okay this is a little late. Anyway went up to ogunquitt for the 4th. I think it's hard to find a not too touristy place with good prices and even better food. This review is for 2 consecutive days. I found this place using yelp. First day absolutely loved it. Wait wasn't bad, the hostess was very friendly, the waitress an older woman was a sweetie. I got the cheese omelette with I think 4 different cheeses was delicious, the toast thick and yummy. My husband got the veggie omelet wonderful and a side if pancakes which were great. The breakfast was wonderful. So the next day which was the 4th we went again. Very long wait more
Than 45 minutes but it was fine because we knew the food would be great. We noticed at least half the tables were empty which occupant meant they didn't have enough help. That was strange on a 4th of July weekend. The hostess was not friendly (someone different) the waitress was worse. We waited more than 10 or 15 minutes for her to even acknowledge us. Ordered coffee and asked for milk. Took her another 10 minutes to bring coffee no milk, asked her for milk and water as it was so hot in there. Never brought either so I asked the hostess who was just standing there. She said I'll get your waitress which she never did. The young waitress was so slow and so inattentive it just ruined our meal. But i am not going to judge this place on those two women. The food is really good much better than the other breakfast places around there. -

I live right around the corner from ADB and I have always been impressed by my experiences. Being from the area, I know when the best time to go is...and when to DEFINITELY not even try. In the summer, you better get there early or late...the 930-1130 times are just packed, and you better be prepared to wait outside for over an hour at times.
The menu is basic. There is nothing mind blowing or incredibly original, but if there's one thing I like, it's being able to do something well. And ADB does the basic breakfast foods very well. Their french toast, pancakes, and eggs are all great and I always pair every meal with a side of homefries. The blueberry pancakes are my personal favorite - they're big and delicious, with just the right amount of berries.
Lastly, the waitresses are fun and friendly, and being a semi-regular, it's always nice to see the same faces and know you're going to get the same great service. It's a very Maine establishment, which is probably why I love it so much. -

Awesome! We had heard about ADB for years, and never woke up in time to avoid the rush...well, traveling with an 11-month old will get you up and out early, and we hit there around 7:15 one morning. Cute little place, and very, very friendly waitresses.
Good coffee to start, and ordered blueberry pancakes (when asked if I wanted 2 or 3, I went with three, despite the warning about the size...more on that later...). My wife went with a vegetable and cheese omelet.
Quick on the coffee, the place filled with locals....i think by 7:30 or so it was more than half-full, all seemingly locals, but us. However, that didnt stop friendly people from saying hello, or the waitress making us feel right at home.
Breakfast arrived - three hubcaps of blueberry pancakes. Huge, really big. But, very light and fluffy, and very flavorful. Wife's eggs were very good as well, with good filling for the omelet.
Definitely would go back next time in town. -
