I'm a previous patient of Dr. Yaros and he will always be missed.  Simply put he was amazing.

I just started treatment under Dr. Boulos, the dentist who bought the business from Dr. Yaros and am very happy. He is kind and caring. He is as concerned about the state of my dental care, and health care in general, as Dr Yaros was. I shouldn't be surprised, Dr Yaros would only sell to someone who had the same mind-set as he did.

While going to the dentist is never fun, it certainly helps to have someone you respect and you know cares for you on the other end of the drill.

Not sure if anyone from Dr. Yaros' office checks these, but this is by far the best dental office I've ever been to and his service will be greatly missed.

I used to hate going to the dentist.  Absolutely hated it.  When I was a kid I remember crying because my gums were bleeding while they scraped.  I remember feeling anxious days before a dental visit and then on the day of the appointment I'd prepare for the end of my life.  Seriously, the dentist used to freak me out.  And then for a while I just bounced around from dentist to dentist until when I moved to San Diego; every fear, anxiety, or qualm I've ever had with the dentist became irrelevant.

Dr. Yaros and his staff are classy, kind, and create a peaceful atmosphere...I actually LIKE going to this dental office.  How many people can say that?  The level of service they provide here is second to none.  When I had my wisdom teeth out, Dr. Yaros called the next day to see how I was doing.   They schedule their appointments in such a way that there's rarely never more than 2 patients in the building at any moment, which allows ample time between the doctor and patient and a short wait in the waiting room.  They talk to you like people and remember you as well as things about you.  Some of this stuff you'd think is common sense but isn't practiced anymore - except here.

    I salute you, Dr. Yaros!

Our family received word today that Dr. Yaros has sold the practice. We were patients for over two years and found him to be very competent and kind and we hope that the dentists who have taken over will be as able.

Dr. Yaros, we will miss you!

Having just moved to San Diego, I didn't know who to turn to in January when I had a toothache one day before an important international trip.

I found All Coast and Dr. Yaros through 1800dentist, which I was highly skeptical about. Dr. Yaros's staff was able to get me in right away and I was quickly diagnosed with a root canal problem. Root canal therapy was recommended.

Dr. Yaros and his staff have been great as I've gone through this very long (and sometimes anxiety provoking) process. In addition to seeing me right away, Dr. Yaros has been able to accommodate my sometimes demanding schedule. One of his strengths is communication - unlike many doctors, Dr. Yaros has been very clear in explaining to me exactly what is happening, why it is happening, and what my options are at every step in this process.

Very important - when Dr. Yaros started my root canal therapy, he got about 2/3s of the way through it before realizing that my tooth was in worse shape than originally thought. After doing his best to finish the procedure, he decided that he needed to refer me to a specialist. I can't thank him enough for that decision. He told me that he could "mickey mouse" it and finish the RCT on the spot, but that it wouldn't be medically appropriate. Instead, he got me into a specialist who was able to assist me the following day. Dr. Yaros didn't charge me for the root canal, even though he did most of it before realizing that a specialist was needed. Some might interpret his inability to finish the procedure as a lack of skill. Quite the opposite, I think it is emblematic of a highly ethical and skilled professional.

Dr. Yaros is still completing the reconstruction of the tooth, and I have been very happy with our progress so far. In addition to the one major problem, he also found and filled a cavity that another dentist had missed, fully evaluated my teeth, and has helped me develop stronger dental hygiene practices. Despite the very negative reputation of root canal therapy, I haven't felt pain at all through this process. Dr. Yaros is very gentle - if I had children, I wouldn't hesitate to take them here.

I've now seen Dr. Yaros 6 times. I have been more satisfied with his service and practice than any dentist, orthodontist, or doctor I've ever visited. If you at all are in need of dental assistance in San Diego, I highly recommend this dentist.

Dr. Yaros and his staff are wonderful.
I needed a new bridge and 2 root canals.  His prices are reasonable if you dont have insurance.

Found these guys off of 1800 Dentist.  The phone manners of the receptionist were very pleasant and kind-held up true from the time I walked in the door.  Was greeted with a "Hello, you must be name"

That doesn't happen too often.  The Dentist himself was really nice and joked around, yet got to business.  An older man, he seemed to know plenty and asked a lot of questions that Im glad he asked.

I made an appointment to go back and would recommend to others.
