Oddly enough I've only had tea at All City. I love the atmosphere inside of this cafe- its urban but not distracting. The loft upstairs is a nice little hang out place and the 2 walls of windows make for some great people watching.

I've watched the baristas make coffee and I feel that they create each drink with care and pride. They seem to have fun, and I like that.

They have a great assortment of tea and its served in the civil manner- with your own pot, a saucer and spoon. The Brits must be proud :)

There are lots of good coffee houses in the area, but if you havent given All City a go I recommend it. Espicially between 2-4...Ive always found it to be quiet during this time, only a few other patrons. Not that Ive ever had to wait or felt the place was too loud when it was busier.

Oh- and they have Royal Cupcakes, even the tiny bite sized ones. When I was working downtown this place was my favorite afternoon escape.   Free wifi, relaxing atmosphere, happy baristas making happy drinks...A++ in my book.

I went to Seattle and I had coffee somewhere other than Starbucks!  Wouldn't that be a great souvenir T-Shirt?

Really friendly and helpful staff here, especially considering I came in looking to score a demitasse cup as part of a scavenger hunt (corporate Team-Building tool).

Nice atmosphere and really laid-back vibe, oh and the java was good too!

I'll add this place to my list of independents around the country...

And I left with a cup.  And a used teabag.  And a pair of socks.  Had to be their strangest customer service encounter of the:

    1.  Day.
    2.  Week.
    3.  Month.
    4.  Year.
    5.  Ever.

Uhh...Ya got any socks back there?

This place is amazing. Two stories, plenty of room to spread out, and free wi-fi. Located in a classic Pioneer Square building this is the aesthetic that all those new lofts around here are going for. Exposed brick, old tile (j'adore tile) and soaring ceilings make this the perfect place to showcase all of their eclectic furniture - that they let you sit on!

The coffee was pretty good and the baristas were more than pleasant. None of that barista attitude that can happen when you work with cranky people all day.

I feel so lucky to have gotten lost in Pioneer Square today - I heart you All City Coffee!

Someday, I'm going to use my ninja skills to break into this place and steal the couch from their upper floor. And, if you work at All City Coffee, I'm just giving you the heads up so that you can maybe order a new couch in advance, or something.

This is another place that my wife and a friend and I have hit a couple of times on Coffee and Crosswords Sunday. Frankly, its one of the places I prefer to go because, despite its wonderful couch, good coffee and service, and neat location, it always seems to be empty. And, as a Cranky Old Man(tm) that is getting worn out by busy coffee shops, its a pleasant and relaxing change of pace.

Oh, and as a side note, the first time we went to this All City Coffee, there was a naked man standing in the window of the studio space above the coffee shop. Do with that information as you please.

this is my favorite coffee place in Seattle..
I love art gallery atmosphere, it's quite inviting. Interesting music

the Batista's are really cool and pleasant, in a way that isn't forced or phony. and of coarse the coffee is good too!!.. and mad props to who ever does their branding!!!

The coffee is decent, the architecture is elegantly spare, it's never crowded and service is prompt. The mini cupcakes from Cupcake Royale are the perfect accompaniment to my cappuccino. I am eating one as I type. Be jealous.

It's too bad that the view is a bleak little corner, because they have huge fantastic windows.

This is currently my favorite near-work coffee shop, beating out Zeitgeist, Caffe Umbria, and Grand Central.

So at this point, my coffee going friend and I go into coffee joints kinda as a joke, to see how pretentious it's gonna be, how much of an a'hole the barista is going to be, etc etc etc. We walked into this place and I started the stopwatch.... thinking OK, how long until our mere customer presence is taken of notice.... I knew something was wrong when the barista came out with a smile and even answered a question I had without being snobby about it! I couldn't believe it, and to top things off, it was even near closing (we didn't realize) and she was still cool and not trying to kick us out of the door. And as far as the coffee, easily one of the finer mochas I've sampled in Seattle; with suble bitter/sweet contrasts and not overly powerful in chocolateness.

Whenever I'm in Pioneer square, and in need of espresso, this place is my source.

Everybody loves Pioneer Square for the old school buildings and brick and All City Coffee fits right into this neighborhood.

ACC is super chill and the coffee is so darned tasty!  They've got this really cool DJ record spinning set-up going on and great furniture pieces.  It's a little bit off of the beaten path, but so worth the visit!

There are two All City Coffee shops, one in Pioneer Square and one in Georgetown. This review is about the one in Georgetown.

First off, let me say that I love the idea of Georgetown. It's a residential neighborhood surrounded by miles of warehouses, wholesalers, and light industry. I feel cool when I go to Georgetown. but not cool like the Fonz, cool like Lou Reed, Charles Bukowsky, or that dude from Soundgarden. You know, urban cool, My point is this place already had a few hip karma points going for it before I walked in the door.

Yesterday I'm taking my Vespa in for service and drop by All-City with my lady for a cup of joe and a croissant. She had an OJ, since they didn't have oregon chai, the kind she likes. Both the oj and the coffee were up to par, and the croissant was flaky and moist.

The other customers were either wearing old jean jackets and motorcycle boots or really expensive eyewear and $200 denims. Michael Jackson's Thriller was on the stereo. There was an old acoustic guitar on the wall. As we consumed caffeine, it was picked up a few times for some impromptu jams.

After fueling up, we left the place and re-entered the real world of traffic, Whole Foods, and Pottery Barn. But for a moment, I felt like I'd gone back to Seattle circa1985, when there were precious few coffee shops, but lots of guys in jean jackets and motorcycle boots.

Check this place out while you can, it won't be too long before a developer starts making condos and townhouses in G-Town and it will change. I don't know what will become of the dudes in jean jackets, but the hipsters with the expensive glasses will fit right in.

Forget the fact that if your from Seattle you are a coffee "expert" by default... this place has great coffee with actual personality to boot. The neighborhood is enough to draw the curious on looker and what better to go with your deadlock, tattoo, custom bike rider watching than a great latte'.

While I love the idea of art walks, I somehow always seem to space out when and where they are going on... but not to worry All City has a rotating variety to keep you interested whenever you pop in. Their old school sturdy furniture will make you feel like you are visiting that old relatives' house that never updated the decor and bring your laptop (or entire desk top...  no joke I saw a whole set up once) and take advantage of the free wi-fi.

This is the anti-trendy with an I don't give an F attitude little corner coffee house that you can check your snooty Starbucks attitude at the door kind of place.

Another coffee shop that embodies what Seattle coffee is all about. Great coffee, great music, great people, cool atmosphere and funky furniture.  A must stop if you are on the east side of Pioneer Square. Besides having great cupcakes from Cupcake Royale, they also serve beer/wine.

The only ding against this place is that the people outside the building can be a little sketchy. It's not too bad, but you should just make sure you are alert when you walk around there -- but please don't let that deter you from going to this place.

Wi-fi is connectivity is great. Never had a problem and there's never a ton of people using the net, so the connection is quite responsive.

I really, really wish we had a coffeehouse of this caliber in Denver.  I discovered All City by accident on my way to catch a train to Vancouver, and was rewarded with a cup of brilliance.  I've heard legends about Seattle's coffee, and they were proven right.  The baristas are nice, and it feels like a hip place to hang out.

I stopped here again on my way to the airport to get beans to take home, and therein lies my only gripe.  I'd like a few more roasts, perhaps, but I'm not complaining.  I'm surprised the TSA guys searching my luggage didn't 'confiscate' my coffee for themselves, it smelled so good.

Definitely a step over Starbucks.  No, make that several steps.  There's no reason to go to the Land of the Siren if All City is nearby.

What a great find.  I like the location and sparse layout of All City Coffee at this location...I ended up having a double tall latte that was well made (with a calming little foam leaf and everything). The staff were quite friendly and efficient.

The goodies look to be excellent quality (and seeing from some of the other reviews that they have mini cupcakes from Cupcake Royale is great incentive to come back)...next time I shall feast...Oh yes I shall feast.

The most consistent coffee in town, the baristas are fantastic and know my drink and practically have it started when I walk in the door. It doesn't get any better then that!  Coffee with friends everytime.

If I was the sort of person who lounged around in coffee shops instead of getting my drink to go, I would hang out here.  It's comfy, there's an upstairs, it's never crowded, there's artwork, and they make one of my favorite lattes (hot OR iced!) in the city.  And the baristas know how to do fancy stuff w/ the foam too.  Nice touch.  Service is usually friendly and prompt.  The prices are CHEAP.  Oh, and did I mention there's beer?  Their Tshirts are cute, I keep meaning to buy one.  I wish I still lived close to All City cause I miss it, sigh.

This is what coffee should taste like. And walking through sketchy alleys makes it taste even better when you see the crackheads looking at you with your yuppie cup of joe. If you don't mind the crackhead alleys then this place is for you. They use real coffee and have baristas that actually know what they are doing, and even have to deal with crackheads. Don't mess with them, they know kung fu. I give it 4 kung fu stars, maybe   crane style.

This place is great if you get there early enough, head upstairs and snag the comfy chair or the couch.  It's like you're hanging out in someone's cool apartment in pioneer square, except they're not home and you're just chillin with your iced mocha or your beer.  Yes that's right, this coffee shop serves beer.

absolutely love the lattes.  The lunch-type food is eh, comes from somewhere else.  If you can get it, the almond pastry thing is delicious--they usually only order a few, and they sell out.  Baristas are friendly, the music is usually cool, and as someone said, it's often kind of empty, which pleases me.  Upstairs is too hot and not really the place for staff meetings, though we've tried it.  The lattes make up for everything.

great hole in the wall. i love the upstairs which has a nice view of the train tracks and funky steampunk furniture (knobs/handles etc). overall the decor is nice with these  "screw" style wrought iron and wood benches. they have DJs sometimes. it's in the Tashiro Kaplan artist loft building so it's crackin on First Thursday Art Walk.

they have Guiness on tap which is nice. they also have Lambic so you can make a Raspberry Truffle. (Pint of Guinness topped with Lambic)

they also have bottles of Red Stripe and Manny's on tap (along with Rainier, which is surprisingly better on tap compared to the can),
