The doctors, assistants, and staff are all so friendly here. Our dog Ivy has seen all of the doctors here and we've been very happy. Everyone who works here knows how to communicate and get in answers (and explaining them!) quickly, calls back with with results and just returning calls are speedy as well. We consider ourselves So lucky to have this awesome vet within walking distance from our house!
There kittens are adorable. -

When: June 13, 2011 and June 21, 2011
Location: Park and Shop Plaza in Concord
Company: My Mom and Dog
Vibe: Quiet, Calming
Decor: 2 stray cats welcoming everyone that came in.
Loved: Staff
Hate: Communication between the doctor and staff
Total: ? Petco is paying for our medical bills since they were the ones that caused the damage.
Side note: I brought my dog, Chuwe to see Dr. Bedros who was so pleasant! We felt welcomed when we came into the office. Anya, the vet assistant was also nice as well. They were so loving to my dog and made my dog feel comfortable since Petco cut his eye while getting a haircut, my dog hasn't been feeling well at all. Dr. Bedros gave us medication to give our dog for 2 weeks, but wanted to see him after a week of meds. My dogs eye finally is opened with no scratch in his cornea! The follow up visit the receptionist was trying to bill me for the follow up visit. I told her that Petco was responsible for the bill and wanted to double check. I mean, wouldn't that be on the chart already. I sorta felt like she thought I was trying to hurry out the door to avoid any payments. Thank God Dr. Bedros walked in the receptionist area and confirmed it with her. -

Brought my new puppy here on 4/13 and I couldn't be happier. Dr. Lentz and Jennifer (vet assistant) were very friendly, informative and helpful. They were very thorough in explaining everything from potty training to parasites to just about everything!!
My boyfriend and I were given a tour of the facilities and we definitely felt like our pup was in good hands. So glad we decided to come here instead of the vets office at Petsmart across the street. Highly recommended!! -

Love love love this place!
Dr. Lentz was amazing - he was really clear and explained all the procedures for Bongo's annual checkup. He also did his best to save us as much money as possible, which we always like. His whole team is very sweet - including receptionist, assistant and him. They really do care about the well being and health of your animal.
Bongo was feeling it too! He was being a good little boy for the most part... well until the very end when they expressed his anal glands he pooped all over everyone (sorry guys!) and he tried to nip at Dr. Lentz.
Other than that he loved it as did we. -

I would not recommend this place. My husband first took our puppy there and saw Dr. Bedros. He said he wasn't much of a people person or an animal person. Just not friendly at all.
I took our puppy next and saw Dr. Lentz. He was nice but we spent less than 5 minutes with him. She had worms and he took a look and gave us some de-worming meds.
The young woman behind at the desk was very unfriendly, almost like we were a bother to her. The vet's assistant got our puppy all rilled up after we'd been working on her staying calm and listening so that was out the window when she had my pup jumping up on her and roughing her up so she was good and rowdy. It's hard to settle a 4 month down once they are amped up.
Also, the waiting area was extremely filthy and we were there in the morning so it must not have been cleaned from the day before. Our puppy sat on the ground and stood up and had tons of fur all over her black rear end. It was nasty, I wanted to bathe her after the visit.
The one woman who we spoke with on the phone a few times was very nice. I was expecting a lot more. We changed vets after that and really like where we are now.Comment from Karl L. of All Bay Animal Hospital 5/19/2011

Great service! My original vet told me that I would have to put my cat down due to an inoperable item my cat supposedly ate.
I took my cat to All Bay and Dr.Lentz took a closer look and was so helpful! He was able to avoid surgery and my cat is doing just fine now!
I can't even imagine what I would have done if I hadn't gotten his second opinion. I WOULD def. go back to Dr.Lentz -

This is where I bring my bishon mix puppy BOSS.
Boss is a really small dog with floofy white hair. I purchased the puppy package to sustain for the first 18 months of his life for about $300. This included heart guard and other meds he might need.
When I called, I booked him under Boss *Insert our last name* - when I checked him in, everyone was in love with this puppy. He has that effect. We were promptly brought to the clinic room and was politely asked for his *still warm* poo sample to see if he has any worms.
My puppy's name can be very deceiving. If you think of Boss, you prolly expect a huge dog with a tough stuck up chest. So, when the vet came in, he was bawling. He's middle eastern - and his accent cracks me up. He was really expecting something big, but when he saw a small loveable pup, he was just so surprised.
He checked his heartbeat, teeth and some other stuff and recommended other things to do before he gets older.
Just like any other MD clinic, they send out reminders to bring your animal friend in for a check up - and occasional xmas cards too! -

With petsmart taking care of everything else for me with my dogs, a good doctor was in order, this is one of the best places I have taken them and I am thinking of making this my pets permanent home.
Great staff, not to friendly but atleast professional, clean facilities and not much of a wait. -

This is by far the best vet I've ever been to (and I've been to plenty). I just moved to the Bay Area from Texas and left a great vet behind... was very nervous and did a lot of research on the best place to take my furry and not-so-furry babies (I have a large boxer/lab mix, a cornish rex and a sphynx).
The vets are very, very attentive; my dog had an ear infection, and Dr. Lentz spent almost 45 minutes discussing symptoms and causes with me so that he could correctly diagnose the problem (turns out it's allergies). He was great, very friendly and very knowledgeable. Staff is great too. I'd highly recommend this vet to anyone! -

I've only been in this area about a year, and have already been to six Vetinarian Hospitals (2 Emergency only). I've seen Dr. Leonhardt with all three of my rescue cats, and I've never seen a more thorough exam. With her expertise, knowledge, and genuine concern for them, as well as educating me and alleviating any concerns I have, I am fully confident my kitties are in excellect hands!
I've had some administrative problems when coming to the office, even when calling first so that wouldn't happen, so I've learned to be patient.....I've had that experience at most service organizations, though, and the majority of the staff here is very pleasant and helpful.
I've also called about a problem, and Dr. Lentz called back promptly and took a lot of time discussing the issue with me and how to resolve it. So a few administrative mishaps are not nearly as important as the care my three cats receive. I'm sticking with them and would recommend them! -

Just got back from my dogs first visit at All Bay and it went great. Dr. Bedros was so nice. I was worried cause a previous Yelper said he was not a people or animal person and I have to totally disagree. I don't know if it was because he wasn't too busy this morning or what but we chatted for a long time about everything. He is so personable and friendly with my dog too! The staff were all polite and super nice as well. I will make this my new vet office for all my kids.

I went to All Bay Animal Hospital yesterday, and had a very good experience. My husband and I recently adopted a boxer, and was looking for a new vet. We took them up on their FREE VET VISIT for first time clients. They spent one hour with us, examing our dog, explaining everything in detail and really took their time in giving our dog 100%. The most impressive part, was that the vet was actually on the floor with our dog and it was obvious she loves animal, and Annie loved her too! I appreciate this vet visit, thank you so much for being so kind and taking your time with our boxer Annie.

My Shetland Sheepdog Jubilee had both a UTI and an ear infection. After going through a few rounds of appointments, testing and meds, I'm relieved that she is better. Scheduling is very fast, easy and straightforward. Dr. Lentz is smart and nice, as are the ladies and gentlemen on staff for office administration.

I decided to try All Bay Animal Hospital after reading all the positive things posted here on Yelp. I am so happy I did. My boyfriend and I just got a new puppy and having worked in the animal field, I knew building a good relationship between the vet, my dog and myself was a top priority. Dr Lentz took his time with my Bellatrix, answered all my questions and was patient when treating her. She has a rather special and unique medical condition that we all had never encountered. He took time to research it, called me to discuss and even helped set up a meeting for me to meet with a specialist.
I can't tell you how happy I am with everyone who works there. The front desk crew love my puppy and give her such a positive experience there, that I just know she'll never be afraid of them. I highly recommend them to anyone who loves their pets and want only the best for them.
They put my mind at ease and I know Bellatrix will have only the best love and care from this team. -

We had a very positive experience at this place. The vet took the time to really discuss our concerns surrounding our cat's current illness and he seemed to take our pocketbook into consideration when suggesting treatments. He was friendly and informative. We will be back.

The prices are fair and staff is nice but the wait time here is ridiculous. I'm writing this review as I sit in waiting room. The appointment is 4 it is now 4:30 and I still have not seen the doctor....and this appointment was just for a simple blood check.

Great Vet. I've had the chance to take my dog to both Dr. Bedros and now today Dr. Lentz and both are very informative and friendly. They allowed me to drop by unexpected and 20 minutes later not only was my dog already feeling better but she had her shots for the next 3 years taken care of as well. They break down cost as well as what they're treating and i think the most important part they explain it in laymens terms, not doctor jargon. On top of that they make sure you know what and why they treat your animal with whatever they decide. I've been to another vet shop off Concord Blvd. and even though they were friendly they weren't nearly as professional and experienced it seemed. I've been going to this one over a year now and I can honestly say it's the best Vet in concord by reading all the reviews. If you live in the east bay, this is the only place i'd take my pet if you want the best care. It's true what others have said, my dog enjoys the vet as well.

We just moved to Concord and were looking for a vet. I looked on yelp and there was a posting on All Bay for a free visit for new clients. I thought it was a very good deal so I called and made an appointment for our dog. We were able to be seen the next day and everyone was very friendly. Our appointment was at 5:30pm and I got a little lost and arrived at 5:35pm and was able to be seen as soon as I was done filing out the paperwork. My son, who is a very active 2 year old, was a little crazy and they were very nice and tried to distract him. They treated Bella very nicely and everyone was very welcoming. They were able to properly diagnose her and provide us with the medications she would need. I am very excited we found a vet so close to us and so nice. The vet, Dr Bedros was also very nice to our son and very good with our dog. We also had a young lady named Candice who was very sweet with Bella and helped Dr Bedros in calming her down. I would recommend to anyone!!!

I took my one year old Doberman to All Bay based upon reviews I read here on Yelp since I am new to the Concord area and do not know any vets here. He had a tumor the size of a nickel on the tip of one of his ears that we were worried about. The vet that we saw met with us for about five minutes tops, looked at his watch the entire time we were there and seemed to not really care very much. He quoted us a price of approximately $1,800 to have it removed, and told us that it would be a very difficult surgery. At that price, I knew I had to get a second opinion so we had to drive back to Daly City to the vet we used before. Not only did the vet tell us that the location made this a quick and no hassle surgery since it was exterior on the ear, the price was $380. Please tell me why All Bay wanted to charge me $1,800 to perform the EXACT same surgery that the other vet did for only $380!! Not only is the vet at All Bay uncaring and apathetic, he is also SERIOUSLY overcharging people. Please find another vet so this does not happen to you. I am seriously considering calling the Better Business Bureau as well since the bill was just so ridicuously inflated! Bad business... check out the Adobe Animal Hospital on Clayton Road instead. They are much nicer and not crooks.
