This family owned and run local business is a real gem of an eatery.
The Hot-dogs are just delish and range from 'a quick snack' to 'a true feast' in size.
The Chili is the best you will have and you can have it on the dogs, in a cup or as a Frito pie! Yummmmmo!!!
The shave-ice in the summer ( & year round) is a must have when the temp is high and you need to cool off, best afternoon pit stop EVER!
Doesn't take cards, no, but it's a small business so if you're heading that way, stop at one of the ATM's in Ben Lomond, problem solved.

There's just something about eating a really good hot dog outside on a patio table with a cold can of Coke and a few sweat bees zooming around to make your Saturday afternoon perfect and All American Hot Dogs delivers. Cash only, but that's not a problem as there's a few ATMs around Ben Lomond.

This is the way hot dogs were meant to be sold. If you're ever driving down Hwy 9 toward Ben Lomond and see the stand, pull over! The hot dogs here remind me of the kind we got in the 60s and 70s. So delicious and so awesome. They have hot links too. You can just cruise up, order a dog, slap on the condiments, and hit the highway. Awesome!

I absolutely love this little place, so I might be a wee bit biased.
The owners are so sweet to little kids-my 6 year old has grown up stopping in for the old fashioned, a bag of BBQ chips and a chocolate milk ($5 w/tax) and lovingly refers to them as, "my hot dog buddies."
Nice people, clean spot. -

Best Hot Dog this side of a Chicago Red Hot!!! Super friendly people, a scenic setting and great food - how can you go wrong?
You know you want a Polish with sauerkraut, so go get one!!!
(My daughters want me to mention that they have great shaved ice too!)

You will not find a better hot dog or better service and you can sit next to a Redwood tree while you dine! Choose among a variety of sausages, condiments, etc. shaved ice too.

A great little hotdog stand located on Hwy 9 just before entering Ben Lomond. Complete with picnic tables under the redwoods! There are many hotdogs to choose from (even vegetarian ones!), everything is fresh and the chili is really good. Sodas, chips, and shave ice are also available. The folks behind the counter are very nice and fun to chat with. A nice stop open 7 days a week, I believe they open at 11AM.
