I think I am biased about this place because I've been going here for years, know the names of the entire wait staff, and it's one of the few places in the area that is open year round.  But this is a regular spot for me and my family (we call it "The Pub" even though the word "pub" isn't even in their name).  Their prices are reasonable, they have a wide variety of options, friendly service, and pour a mean glass of wine.  This place is a pub; if you're looking for a gourmet meal and romantic vibe you won't get that here.  But if you want good food at a good price with friendly waiters and a laid back vibe, this is your place.

I am a vegetarian so I can't comment on any of the meat/seafood dishes.  I know the hubby swears by their "Fried Seafood Platter", which is so large he can stuff himself silly and still have a whole other meal's worth of leftovers.  If this was his review, he would also HIGHLY recommend their hot lobster roll for all of those seeking the traditional "Cape Cod Lobster Experience" without the inconvenience of having to crack claws yourself.

My go-to dish is fairly boring; I always start with a side salad which is always crisp and satisfying.  I love their Italian dressing.  They have a greek vegetable wrap that is my go to; fresh spinach, olives, feta cheese, and balsamic vinaigrette served with a side of steak fries, my absolute favorite type of french fry.  I also regularly order their sangria, which turns a lot of heads since they bring it out in a glass the size of my head.

We've had brunch here once and I remember it being really tasty.  We're not big brunch people, otherwise it would have been more than once. One thing that sets this place apart from other brunch spots, is that they bring out a basket of baked goods prior to the meal. Oh my God, yum!  I ate so many I was barely hungry for the omelet I got.  I don't think I ate again for the rest of the day.

We had a late dinner here on a Sunday night in the offseason. The place was mostly empty but it was nice to find a midpriced, sitdown restaurant that was open. The decor is nothing fancy but fine and the waitress was friendly. The food was a little heavy but fairly tasty and the portions were large. Not sure I would make the effort to go back, but no substantial complaints.

I came for dinner at the end of the summer.  I ordered a salad and there was a toothpick in it.  To make matters worse, I didn't notice it and ended up breaking my tooth on it.  I spoke to the owner, Kim, and she assured me that she would take care of my dental bill.  Needless to say, I have left several messages with her, e-mails and she has yet to return any messages.  I now have my lawyer involved to get the money she owes me for my crown.  I went to the All American last night to see Kim and she refused to come out of the kitchen.  UNBELIEVABLE...

I used to go to this restaurant a lot.  I will never return.  This situation left a bad taste in my mouth... (No pun intended...)

Came here on a Saturday night with 5 others and it was kind of slow (granted there was a hurricane coming) but I was still very pleased with the atmosphere and the food!

We ordered the party platter for an appetizer and it was perfect for 6 people- that was honestly enough to eat for me.  The calamari wasn't the best I've ever had, but I loved the scallops and the stuffed portobello mushrooms.

For dinner, I had the honey nut broiled haddock, which was a unique spin on a typical fish dinner.  I would go back!

I dined at the All American with the family and was disappointed with the quality of food.  I had a turkey club, processed slimy turkey on under done toast.  Others in our group were not impressed with their entrees.  The waitstaff was friendly and attentive, but did not justify $100 for our lunch.

All American Bar is a definite local gem. Its unassuming exterior doesn't do the menu or service justice as it looks a little worse for the wear. I've been here twice so far and its made a place on my "reliably satisfying" list of Dennis establishments.

First experience was during the World Cup. Sat in the bar section and relaxed with a beer, nachos ($6.95 for huge portion to big for us) and salad while watching the game. It was a great afternoon.

Second was with my dad and this time for dinner. The complementary (& I think homemade) rolls were warm and delicious. My cranberry walnut  & cheese salad was delicious, & pa-dukes enjoyed his burger. All for around $20-something which was a great deal considering portions and quality.

Service was attentive and friendly both times. The menu is extensive (much more than on the website) with tons of vegetarian options. They advertise about bfast/brunch on the weekends but I have yet to try it.

Note to the other reviewers hating:  Why are you shocked that your onion rings, fries, chicken fingers, etc. are greasy? Last time I checked fried food & grease go hand in hand. Minus one star to you folk for stupidity.

All in all, not worth the trip.  Tap list was poor, but there were one or two that were ok.  Atmosphere did not include anything that said we were in a pub, on the cape, nor really anywhere all that interesting.

Food was greasy, but the batters and seasonings were pretty good.  Unfortunately, we all ended up with stomach aches that night.

FYI - If they ask you whether or not you want to sit on "the deck," that is code for smoking section.

Hubby and I tried the All American Bar and Grill for take-out for our last night in Dennis. I have to say we were pretty pleased with it all.
I had a huge Mediterranean salad with steak tips while DH had a standard chicken parm with ziti.  My salad amazed us both -- both by freshness of the ingredients and volume! I ate what I could before he finished it off. I didn't care for their version of Italian dressing but thankfully I found Ken's Italian in the fridge so I used that :) *They scored points with us too by packaging the tips in a different container so that they stayed hot without wilting the vegetables.*

The sauce on the parm and ziti was no frills tomato but it took care of his craving.

Maybe this is a better place for take out than eatting in? We'll have to check them out for that next time.

Great food, friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere have us driving down 2 hours for a yearly birthday celebration.  Try the chicken with cap'n crunch breading!

Sooo....my friends totally sweet talked me into coming here last night. I have passed this place hundreds of times and never had the urge to go in. I still didn't have the urge last night but there were promises of shots and "some damn good pizza". My resistance ebbed and I met my friends around 9ish. The parking lot was full and upon entering, I noticed an over abundance of women. Kind of disappointing! Being from the Cape, one is used to a sausage-fest at every outing, and being a woman, it works to my advantage. However, I was already planning on not meeting my future husband at the All American so I got over this minor letdown quick. The bar was full so we ended up standing. I had a couple of beers then we ordered some Soco and lime shots. They tender actually used fresh limes and they were pretty good! Not sure how you can f'up a Soco/lime shot but I've had more bad ones than good. And since we had all been told their pizza was more than decent, we ordered one to split. The tender told us they were small and good for one person and that was fine because all we wanted to do was sample anyways. It came out and yup, it was small. But it was tasty! The sauce was tangy and it had a nice thin crust. Perfect bar pizza.

Now, the crowd. So I slowly figured out why the place was over run with females. My realization came when I tapped a man on the back so I could squeeze past him. "Scuse me, sir." Only, there was one problem, it was a WOMAN. Ahhhh, so embarrassed. She was a perfectly butch lesbian. You go girl...err man. Anyways, it was a lesbian band that I guess plays there every Wednesday and they attract a ton of peeps. The music was good...decent cover songs. The rest of the crowd was kind of questionable, creepy single men, young thugged out 21 yr olds, etc. But it's a bar, what did I expect. If I had tried more food and stayed longer than an hour, I could have rated it more appropriately. I know I'll be dragged there again. And next time I won't resist as much!

Greasy food, outdoor deck next to the staff smoking area, and kind of boring pub food make this a visit to forget.  If it's the only place open, it's an option, but I'd otherwise suggest most other places.

Have to admit I hadn't been in here in over 10 years. I remember being very disappointed with the place and it being awful food with terrible service.

I recently went in with friends who know the place well (it underwent a change in ownership 3 years ago) and was very pleased. Great place to just get pub food, lots of it, good and cheap.

This isn't an upscale place by any means but well worth it for beers and food.

Great place for a meal anytime, lunch or dinner.   A varied menu with a lot of choices.  Staff is always friendly and accomodating.   There is outside seating, and yes it's near the smoking area because smoking is only allowed outside in the State.  So if you don't smoke, you have the whole rest of the inside of the restaurant at your disposal.  (no i am not a smoker, but they have rights too!)
