    5/25/2012 Purchased a Yelp Deal

thought i was just a wimp and couldn't handle the aches and pains of daily life. then i saw the xrays the doc took of me today and realized it's because my spine is in need of some major adjustment.
dr. blum did one little adjustment on me and pop pop pop instant relief! it's going to take more visits to get everything back into the right place but i'm gladly driving out from hollywood until my spine is all better.
dr. blum took a lot of time with me explaining everything and i never felt like he was rushing me even though i know he is really busy.
the front desk girl, angie, is sweet as pie and totally understood my question about feeling emotional after the adjustment, she said it's normal and it's due to the relief your body is finally feeling.
they offer an unlimited monthly pass which makes it so affordable to get work done.
the video they have you watch is pretty funny because it's from the 70's but it's also pretty informative.

I worked for a chiropractor in the early 2000's and have always been super selective about who works on my spine - I found Dr Mike to be amazingly personable AND professional. He's the best I've worked with - ever - and always sends me out of the office feeling human again (because let's face it, back pain can make you feel like a rusty robot ;)).

He got me through serious Braxton-Hicks contractions during my pregnancy in 2011, and now he's my pre-race and post-race rehab guy for when I'm running! I was in SO much pain before the Catalina Island 10k a few days ago, but I went to see Dr Mike the day before and he not only got me back up and running for the race, but I placed 8th in my age group!! :)

One final thing - Dr. Mike adjusts babies, and my little 1 year-old (also my racing buddy) LOVES to get aligned at this office. They are so accomodating with babies and the office is always clean and safe.

Send your friends and family to Dr. Mike. He and his staff are wonderful.

Dr. Mike Blum at All Ages was a referral to me from a friend of mine at my old job.  I would be in pain each day, being stuck at a desk, and she'd come back from Dr. Mike's relaxed and pain free.  She'd say to me, "You really should see Dr. Blum, Molly."  I kept saying, "No, no, I'm too busy."

A few years later, I had a bad fall.  I was in terrible pain, and searched around for the business card my friend had given me for Dr. Blum.  I called his office, and got an appointment.

Since I'd had a car wreck in my college days, and then had fallen down a friend's stairs ten years ago, in addition to the bad fall I had last summer, doctor required an X-ray of my spine.  I agreed.  He sat with me the next visit, and went over the results, then gave me a treatment plan.

I see doctor several times per week.  The strangest things have happened since he's begun to adjust my spine back into correct position.  I was stuck in traffic one day, and I remarked to myself, "Wow, I feel like the weight of the world is off my shoulders."  For, where before that traffic jam would have locked up my shoulder muscles like a couple of rock-hard boulders, I realized I had no muscle tension at all.  Doctor Mike had put the vertebrae back in place so well that my long-time shoulder tension was all but gone.

One day, I came in with a terrible headache.  Dr. Mike gave me his "headache special" that day, and do you know, I think I can HEAR a little bit better out of my right ear?  I think he released some sinus pressure!

I could go on and on about Dr. Mike's proficiency as a chiropractor for days.  Really though, Dr. Mike has healing hands.  He really cares about his patients.  He is a good man.

I think so highly of him that I've started carrying a pack of his cards in my wallet, handing them out to family and friends if they complain to me of chronic pain.

His prices are reasonable.  You can buy a variety of treatment packages, dependent on the severity of your back alignment problem.

I recommend Dr. Mike without reservation.  His staff is lovely, as well.

If you're in pain?  He's the doctor to go see.  He'll cure what ails ya'!

I must say I have been resistant to going to a chiropractor for a LONG LONG time.  MY wife swears by Doctor Blum.  Just recently I have been having issues with my left arm, wrist and fingers.  Doctor Blum showed me how it was related to certain vertebrae being out of place, and mde the adjustments.
I feel better already and will definitely be going back for more.

I recommend All Ages for those who regularly go to a chiropractor and for those who don't

I have been seeing Dr. Michael Blum since 2009 (I found him off Yelp). I have problems with my neck and mid-back and he always seems to get to the root of the problem and is patient with me when I'm in pain.

The front office staff are very nice and accomadating and they never make me feel like I don't matter. I definitely recommend this office to anyone in need of a great Chiropractic experience.

For years I had constant neck/back pain, pain in my knees from sport injuries, and had recently developed head splitting migraines. I am not the type to take pain killers so I developed some sort of a stamina against my pain. It wasn't until my boyfriend referred me to Dr. Blum when I even thought about  seeing a chiropractor for my pain.

So far, I've had six visits and I am happy to say that I feel like a whole different person! My migraines are gone and my neck/back are pain free!

Dr. Blum makes sure that all of his patients are getting his best care. He is extremely knowledgable and will explain to you what he's doing and why, so that you're not just being jolted around. Also, the front office staff are so welcoming.

I cannot ask for a better chiropractic experience!

Dr. Blum is really good. I've been going to him for a while now and he's been adjusting me to get rid of neck pain, tennis elbow, & carpal tunnel. He explained that because I was out of alignment, no power was getting from my spine to my arms (which are doing repetitive motion at work). My husband goes here too; we're both very happy with the practice. Also, the prices are really good.

I LOVE this place.  I have a pretty f-ed up back (2 herniated discs) and ribs that tend to dislocate to the point where I can't sleep, breathe, eat, swallow, etc.  Dr. Austria has amazing hands and with only one treatment I leave feeling like a new person.  I have seen so many chiropractors, some of which I thought were pretty good, but now after seeing Dr. John, I realize they were mediocre at best.

The good:  they do X-rays on site for any major realignment needs, they will work with you financially if you have insurance constraints (ex: you are only allowed 12 visits per year, etc), they're open late and on weekends, they will always accommodate you if you need to get in with an emergency, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and they have massage chairs to help you relax while you wait.

The bad:  parking can sometimes be mildly annoying.  They have a very small lot in back and people for some reason always tend to block me in.  Also, they don't do massage here.  I like it when they have both in the same office, but apparently that's pretty rare.

The ugly:  they make you watch a 15 minute video that looks like it's from the 70's before your first visit.

I was first referred to Dr. Mike Blum after a wicked head-on collision. I was really hurt and at the time had no health insurance, and our car insurance wasn't much better. He worked with me and we have kept coming off and on over the years. Truly, Dr. Mike has helped both of us out of many a jam. And on top of that he's nice. He has a good sense of humor. He's strong. He has big hands (an admirable trait in a chiro in my book; if a chiro has small hands it's kinda like a fat cat walking over you in bed with all its weight focused on its tiny feet poking at you). He has a pleasant office with coveted auto-massage chairs and a really friendly staff. Don't worry...Rosie in the business office and Claudine up front will make things work for you insurance-wise and/or financially so you can just get better. That is the focus of Dr. Mike's practice: to get you better.  This is no assembly line, but real, focused healing. In a town with many wham bam thank you ma'am chiropractors, a good chiropractor with a welcoming staff and a caring, healing environment is a real find. Thanks Dr. Mike for helping us so many times, and thanks for adjusting Sigi the dog too!
