All About Tennis is one of the best tennis retail merchants I've ever visited. They have an astonishing selection of racquets, string, and clothing. Demo program is quite nice overall, and stringing service usually has a great turnaround. Only complaint is that some of the youthful staff give off a weird vibe and lack traditional, polite retail service demeanors.
Located inside large shopping area on SE corner of Shea and Scottsdale Road. Store is in the SW region of this large parking lot, near a jewelry store and Dairy Queen. Check website for hours since they close early on weekends.

Why go to a big box sports store when you can find a better selection (you have never seen this many racquets before), a nicer more experienced staff, and a discount stringing service right here?
If you like Tennis (or want to try) this is a great place to start - they can even recommend where to get lessons. I picked up a used $300 prince racquet in perfect condition (new wrap and strings too) for only $50!
FYI - 8 beginner lessons via the ATA (Arizona Tennis Association) is only $100!
