I'd like to say this place is as good as it gets...but this was my very first wax "down there". So, for now I'll have to say 4.5 stars - since I have no frame of reference for comparison.
CJ was very kind and talked me through the process and tried her best to keep me talking so that I wouldn't think about it. I'm not going to say it didn't hurt. But it was not as bad as I thought.
Interesting note: Did you know that your hair grows in 4 week phases? Each week a different set of hair is growing, so you have to refrain from other hair removal for a MONTH! Let's just say, I'm glad it's all taken care of now.
After a traumatic Brazilian wax, I was scared to try a new place but a friend recommended CJ at All About Facials and Waxing. This was the fastest and least painful wax I have ever had. CJ was really nice and made me feel very comfortable. Unfortunately, my temporary stay in Hawaii ended a few weeks later-- otherwise I would go to her forever. The only downsides are parking-- a little confusing, but there are meters and a pay lot nearby-- and that I had a little trouble finding the actual salon once I located the building. I was about fifteen minutes late to my appointment because of all this, but CJ still took me after her next client (I waited for just ten minutes or so). Plus, the price was reasonable.
