In a land far away I came from having the best mechanic ever who was available, knowledgeable and affordable. I was a skeptic when recommended to All About Automotive. I was ready to roll my eyes and give an attitude but I was greatly surprised! THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!! It truly is the best service I have ever received and is worth the extra drive.
Located in Gresham down a non descript road is All About Automotive. The owners are courteous, knowledgeable and excellent problem solvers. It is a bit more that going to your local Lube and Lose but with the service they provide and the commitment to customer service they are worth every penny.
We had a situation where the gas line in my husbands car came undone and drained our tank of gas. We were stranded with a 6 month old in the backseat, fumes and dread of being stuck. I called Steve and he was able to get us a tow and fix the problem. Not only did he go above and beyond the normal call of duty, he did it with great patience for a hysterical woman.
If you are looking for a mechanic that will take care of you, your vehicles, provide excellent customer service and someone you can trust. I HIGHLY recommend All About Automotive.

We perform preventative maintenance services such as; Tune-ups, 30-60-90k Services, Replace Filters and Perform Fluid and Repair Services on the Engine, Transmission, Brakes, Power Steering, Transfer Case, Differential, Suspension, Heating and Air Conditioning, Electrical, Exhaust, Computerized Diagnostics and Emission Related Diagnosis and Repairs.
We employ ASE Certified Technicians and are a DEQ recognized repair facility.
History
Established in 2000
All About Automotive opened their doors on October 1st of 2000. Steve and Karen Johnston co-own the business. Their goal is to educate consumers on the best way to take care of their car for longevity. Steve, Karen and the crew at All About Automotive take care of their customers by keeping their customers' vehicles in good running order. Making sure the vehicles are safe, and running as efficiently as possible. Helping customers to budget for upcoming repairs and maintenance, so that they know ahead of time before a breakdown occurs.
Meet the Business Owner: Steve and Karen J.
Steve and Karen co-own All About Automotive. Steve graduated with his Associates Degree from Mt. Hood Community College in 1981. With his experience prior to graduating from college, his automotive experience spans over 30 years. He has continued his education to keep up to date on the ever-changing automotive industry, booking over 100 hours per year on continuing education. He has also become an ASE Certified Master Technician with both L1 and X1 achievement.
Karen came from a non-automotive background of retail sales, accounting and salon management. She had also been a small business owner. Karen has educated herself in the past 9 years about the car industry and the best way to manage an automotive business.
