This velodrome is located inside of Cullen Park. It's a track for track bike races and if you got one, you should definitely come out and try it out. I've yet to but I definitely am gonna try it out sometime. They even have bikes out there to rent if you don't have one and wanna try it out. It's a totally chill place to come out. Who knows, it might be your next favorite thing to do in H-town.
It's definitely a place that is not seen by many people at all. This past weekend was the Texas Cup Race championships and there was3 people in the bleachers to watch such a cool event, especially the finals? I give props to the riders and all the family and friends that support the races. This place needs to be put on blast.
It's completely underrated and if you have some time at night to catch a couple races, it's pretty cool. It's definitely a family environment and even the kids can get in on the action. It sound like an intimidating place but it's a pretty fun spot at the park to hang out. They are open Mon & Wed: 8:30am - 10:30am and on Tues & Thurs: 6:00pm - 8:00pm.
