The Aljon's over in West Windsor is still number 1, but this place serves up the pizza goodness as well. I grew up on this stuff, so there's probably some bias, but then I brought in some out of state people and they still enjoyed this pizza.
Great sauce, crust, and cheese...plus they always got Italian soccer on. All of that equals one hardcore pizza store!
The food is descent. I had enjoyed many a sandwich and some pizza. My problem with this place is the unfriendliness and stinginess of the people who work there. I always get charged about $1.50-$2.50 for lettuce, tomato, and peppers on subs, and 25c for a water cup. Really?
Never saw a register guy smile. I come to Princeton for work, and it may be a local thing, but I have noticed that for some reason people in local small delis and shops are not really happy. As my girlfriend had pointed out, it's just as easy to be nice as it is to be mean. Why these people make a choice to be the latter is still to be explained...
Really good Sub and Pizza Joint!!! I had a 1/2 sub and it was loaded with meat and cheese. The line was long and most were ordering pizza and enjoying it as well it seemed. I will be back for pizza. Sub was great !!!!
