West Islip, NY
Best pizza place on earth basically. I went there last night, because I was in the mood for something spicy, but I was also starving, so I wanted to fill my belly.
I had gone in there for some eats and although I haven't lived in the neighborhood in years, they still remember my face. I feel so important when I'm there, remember me and they treat us well.
The staff is hard working, but they aren't removed from their customers; the cashier even joke with us about her wanting to join us for pizza and beer.
We ordered a large pie (half pepperoni) and saw on their appetizer list that they had Buffalo Calamari (Galamad, lol). What a great decision that was.
The food, for years, just amazes me. I'm just suprised this place isn't six times bigger than it is. -

I love this place! It's always pretty busy, people coming in and out. I love going here during Christmas time for some reason, after all that shopping.
I personally think this is the best pizzeria in the area, the specialty slices are sooo delicious. The penne ala vodka from here is really good, add peas to it, even better.
Plain old good pizza place. -

Alitalia is out go to pizza place for my family. It is a town over, but better than any pizza place we have local.
Their regular pizza is OK. But the specialty pies are good. And the dinners are great! We order the meals take out. And it's PLENTY of food and leftovers to feed the whole family AGAIN.
We have had dinner service there in the back room. I've had other Italian local that is better for sit down atmosphere. It feels awkward only because there really any one in the restaurant part; feels like we shouldn't be there.
My recommendation: Take out the meals or try their specialty pizzas. You won't be disappointed. -

Love this place . So consistent whether you have a Brooklyn slice , Sicilian or a chicken roll they always execute. Cant beat there wed specials either!

West Islip, NY
Gluten-free items and they actually are aware of the important things. Separate boiling water for the pasta, raviolis, penne and spaghetti.
We ate in the rear dining room with service. Server was great and very aware of the gluten-free issues and prep.
Regular penne ala vodka with added shrimp was perfect. Carbonara had the egg yolk-based sauce and was terrific.
Mini pizza's were good. GF was thin and tasty. Regular white and margherita were good. Margherita was a little wet and the added prosciutto was not real (hammy) but still tasty.
Wide selection of pastas, entrees and specials.
We will definitely return. Gluten free local place will get our return business. -

Great pizza and nice selection of specialty slices. Buffalo slice pizza is great.

Brooklyn, NY
So many different types of pizza all for a sensible price. I just stood at the counter drooling, before i picked a grilled veggies sicilian slice. With no sauce and light chesse it was a perfectly quick meal that didn't leave me overly full and oily in the face lol.
This place has seating in the rear for a fancier meal, and seating upfront for people on the go. I can't wait to go back and try a sit down full meal.
A great shopping center, a great way to spend all your money and grab dinner! -

I just moved to long island from brooklyn and i decided to check this place out. I went in and it was packed... Good sign, i thought. I waited and asked for some "grandma slices" and i was rudely corrected by some nasty guy with white hair. "what are you talking about? Brooklyn slices!" he said. Thats funny, im from brooklyn and we dont call them that. For those of you that dont know, a grandma slice is a crispy thin crust sicillian slice where there is crushed tomatoes ontop of the thin cheese layer. Anyway, i bought them because im
Used to a little rudeness in resturants in the city... And they were gross. I was so insulted that they called these brooklyn slices that i wanted to go back and drop kick them over the counter. Absolutely disgusting. The chicken parm that i had ordered with these slices had bad chicken that smelled funny and tasted even funnier. Everything went right into the trash. The fact that it was packed when i went there only means that the people dont know better. -

Every time I come home, my mom is always badgering me to take her for pizza here. I don't blame her. This place really does have some awesome pizza. Plus, it's right in the shopping plaza.
Growing up, I absolutely love their White Cheese pizza. But they're other pizzas are good too! My sister loves their mushroom and my mom loves the gourmet/specialty pizzas.
It's too bad they don't have a tip jar, 'cause these guys would be taking home a lot more in their pay if they did. They do a wonderful job of making great pizza and by the slice ( a NY classic)! Oh how I miss having pizza by the slice.
They also have a restaurant in the back, but I have yet to patron it. Maybe next time I go home and mom wants pizza again. -

Best pizza in the area. Biggest selection of pizza and dishes. Catered food is very good too.
Very busy, order ahead of time!
Try the panini sandwiches, they are awesome.
The dinig area is very good too. -

Very good selection. Old school. No football on TV right now on Sun afternoon. Italian soccer fills the boob tube instead.

A pizza place on one of my post office runs. The food is good, although a little bit pricey. Nice guys I bet but the service always seems abrupt. A wide selection for your pizza needs. :)

I love this place. The pizza is fantastic (possibly the best in LI) and so is the food (i.e. pasta, paninis, etc.). And if you opt to eat in the restaurant part (menu/waiter service), you will be made to feel appreciated and satisfied. I ate there with my family the other night and as usual, we left so happy. I can't recommend this place enough...

Its decent Pizza, but it does nothing to stand out from others. Plus, there is NO FLOW to their restaurant! Here's what I mean: My wife and I go shopping with the kids. She finds a table, I order the food. I walk up to the counter and there's a register and a drink station. An older gentlemen, says, "Hi can I help you?" I begin to place my order, and he cuts me off, points to the end of the counter towards the back of the building and says, "You gotta go down there to put your order in." OK, so I walk the length of the counter, excusing myself past hungry waiting customers to get to the end of the counter. I place my order with new guys, who put some select specialty slices into the oven. Now I'm going with the movement of the line which brings me back to the original guy who greeted me, who says, "what did you get?" So NOW, gotta repeat my order to this guy, who repeats it to another girl who enters it into their computer. I pay the register girl. I felt like I was playing telephone. Now I g for aotta go BACK to the other guys I placed my order with to pick up the food, which is neatly piled on a tray. But I have to carry said tray through the hungry crowd to the table in the front where my wife and kids are waiting. We eat, its good, but we got one large fountain drink that we have polished off. Now I wonder if this place does free refills at the drink station which is facing inward toward the greeter. Luckily, there's a guy wiping down tables near us. I ask him, "Excuse me sir, DO YOU GUYS DO FREE REFILLS?" He replies, "YES." So I thank him and take my cup to the front, I ask the greeter for a Sprite refill. He takes my cup and fills it, hands it to me and says, "its just $1.50." I explain that I just asked that guy, as I point to the guy wiping tables, if you do free refills and he said YES. You took the cup and filled it with no warning of money being owed, which is it? Greeter replies, "THAT GUY DOESN'T SPEAK ENGLISH." He said, YES pretty clearly, and that's an English word. So it left a bad taste in my mouth...the experience, not the food.

The pizza is very good one of th e best I have had. The counter service is not great. It just seems they are always angry at you for some reason and I have been there many times. Its a good place for a quick dinner. Friday and Sat nights are very crowded.
